Dorothy took the orb of divine energy and the mold but struggled to figure out how to use them, prompted only by the protagonist's instructions. He considered asking the busy Old Man Lancelot for help in teaching her but decided against it. Queenie, curious about the intense divine energy, approached and advised Dorothy to simply squeeze the orb to activate it. Following the guidance, Dorothy filled the mold with the released energy, and Queenie helped stabilize it before attaching the handle to form the blade.

After completing the forging of that blade, they approached me to display the final creation.

However, rather than examining the blade itself, I snatched the orb from Dorothy’s grasp for a closer inspection.

Dorothy appeared startled as I extended my hand toward the orb, yet she passed it to me without any protest.

In truth, I could sense its diminished strength without even glancing at it, so my true intent in seizing it was to infuse additional divine energy and restore what had been expended during the blade's forging.

With the replenishment complete, I returned the orb to her and remarked, “You’re holding back your true power.”

A puzzled expression crossed Dorothy’s features upon hearing my words.

Evidently, she had no clue what I was getting at, so I pressed on, explaining, “Unleash that suppressed force of yours while channeling the orb’s energy.”

Hesitation flickered across Dorothy’s face at my suggestion.

This reaction was hardly surprising, given how this power had unconsciously terrified her due to its past effects. Accepting it wasn’t simple for her, despite our gradual efforts to train her in handling it for better suppression.

Forcing it upon her wouldn’t work, so I simply stood by, allowing her time to embrace and release the power willingly.

Following an extended pause, Dorothy clenched the orb tightly once again.

As she did so, a surge of corruption energy emanated forth.

True to expectations, a fierce collision erupted between the corruption energy and the divine energy.

Upon impact, the opposing energies neutralized one another and vanished.

Dorothy realized this wasn’t my desired outcome, prompting her to halt the flow of corruption energy.

Yet, in that instant, I interjected, “Why stop now? Press on.”

My command threw Dorothy for a loop, and she refrained from obeying this time. After all, she was utterly baffled by my insistence, especially since I could plainly see the situation unfolding.

The divine energy in the orb was clearly depleting due to the conflict with the corruption energy.

It made little sense for me to urge her to persist if it only meant squandering the orb’s divine reserves.

Nevertheless, I spoke evenly, “Failure on the first try is alright. Lessons from mistakes will help you master control over time.”

A bewildered gaze mixed with doubt settled on her countenance.

But I met her eyes steadily, conveying encouragement silently.

Persistent practice would eventually teach her to harness the corruption energy alongside the divine energy.

No one enters this world skilled in every feat, so acquiring this ability required patient learning.

Moreover, replenishing the orb’s divine energy posed no issue for me whenever it waned. Thus, expending it during her trials was no concern at all.

After another prolonged silence, Dorothy seized the orb anew and concentrated on channeling her corruption energy into it.

Buoyed by my encouragement, a portion of the uncertainty in her eyes faded away.

Now, it remained only to demonstrate that my faith in her was well-founded.

As she directed the corruption energy, Dorothy sensed it refusing to align with her intentions.

Regardless of her efforts to guide it, the corruption energy collided with the divine energy from the orb. Upon contact, a repulsive force caused both to annihilate each other.

This clash resulted in yet more energy being siphoned from the orb.

Dorothy wasn’t making progress, as the orb’s divine energy continued to dwindle rapidly. It appeared inevitable that the orb would soon be utterly depleted.

Observing this, I couldn’t resist glancing at Queenie, hoping for some guidance from her.

Instead, I found Queenie observing quietly from the sidelines as Dorothy persisted.

Her attentive vigil showed she hadn’t grown disinterested.

Simply put, her expertise didn’t extend to this particular challenge.

Guiding Dorothy in managing the divine energy orb was one skill she possessed, but instructing her on corruption energy control was an entirely separate ordeal.

Such matters lay beyond a divine messenger’s typical knowledge.

Ultimately, we observed as Dorothy endeavored to wield the orb’s divine energy in the manner I envisioned.

“Allow me to recharge it,” I offered, stepping closer with my hand outstretched, though Dorothy remained absorbed and didn’t seem to register my voice.

This compelled me to reach for the orb myself, intending to interrupt her focus.

Yet before my fingers could touch it, a shift occurred in the orb’s energy pulses. One force began to dominate, altering the nature of those fluctuations.

It wasn’t long before the divine energy gained the upper hand.

Dorothy hadn’t ceased her use of corruption energy.

Rather, she had discovered the method to blend it seamlessly into the divine energy creation.
