Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2073: Rely on others

"What do you mean by that?" I found myself asking after hearing those words.
Solista kept her gaze fixed on the map as she replied, "Releasing the seal during the trial set free traces of the elementals too. You've surely learned the reason the forces of Destruction targeted the elementals initially."
My expression turned sour as I glanced at her, yet Solista appeared completely unaffected by it.
It was their group that had dispatched me to aid the elementals in that trial they assigned.
If unsealing wasn't the plan, then how else could I assist them?
This puzzle lingered in my thoughts, though I held back from voicing it.
After all, no resolution would emerge from speaking it.
Solista showed no concern over my silence.
With steady composure, she met my eyes and went on, "That's precisely why you should seek out these elementals without delay. Should the forces of Destruction capture them, the consequences would be dire."
My eyes tightened at her words before I questioned, "But how can I divide myself to reach all these locations simultaneously?"
"Who claimed you'd handle this solo? Aren't there numerous allies you can count on?" came her retort.
My brows furrowed involuntarily at this, sensing an oddity in her statement.
Ultimately, I voiced, "Can they truly assist? It's not like they possess the same abilities as I do, correct?"
"Even if they lack your exact capabilities, that doesn't render them useless. If they safeguard the zones where the elementals hide, urgency fades, wouldn't you agree?"
Yet again, her words struck me as off, though pinpointing the issue eluded me.
It simply felt amiss, but I couldn't grasp the exact flaw.
Consequently, nothing came to mind to counter Solista's proposal.
My lack of reply suggested she intended to dismiss me.
Yet prior to that, I interjected, "You promised revelations if I succeeded in the trial. Is this truly everything you can share?"
Realizing I couldn't demand every secret outright, my best option was coaxing whatever disclosures she deemed possible.
I trusted she'd reveal at least that extent.
However, Solista's gaze hinted at my request complicating matters for her.
A prolonged quiet hung between us, as if she weighed her words carefully.
Finally, she stated, "We harbor no ill will toward you."
This fell far short of my expectations, but the genuine intent in her eyes shone through. Still, after recent events, acceptance proved challenging.
Or more accurately, her personal stance didn't guarantee the God of Creation shared it.
Those visions I'd witnessed painted the God of Creation's motives toward me as far from benevolent.
Evidently, this marked the limit of Solista's willingness to divulge.
With a heavy sigh, I responded, "I hope that's true."
Solista regarded me with a conflicted expression, remaining silent as she returned me to the mortal realm.
Upon arrival, I lingered in the main chapel to document my experiences, only to discover an accompanying map rendered it unnecessary.
It resembled an ordinary chart, nothing akin to a sacred artifact.
"For deities, crafting this must be effortless..." I murmured while examining the map.
Bearing identical annotations to Solista's earlier display, no further action from me was required.
Armed with this guide, I emerged to encounter the assembled popes, anticipating my report as always.
Their eager demeanors indicated they'd awaited my emergence to hear the details.
Yet I felt unprepared to disclose them immediately.
Not that I'd resolved against sharing, but rather I needed to compose myself and decide on the disclosures.
Truthfully, full transparency wasn't my intent.
Certain details merited concealment, demanding I organize my narrative accordingly.
Thus, bypassing revelations, I declared, "I must convene the racial alliance. I require everyone's aid on a pressing matter."
The Holy Council's popes displayed astonishment at this, yet they acquiesced with nods before pivoting to summon the group.
But I halted them, adding, "First, I must return to the Kite Kingdom. Several tasks demand attention prior to this assembly."
Devoid of the insights they sought, I departed the Holy Empire.
