Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2062: Domain

Previously on Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure...
Over several days, the rock elementals repeatedly performed ceremonies at the rock pillar, channeling divine energy to create and scatter dirt across the barren space, restoring traces of life to the surrounding forest and reviving plants and animals. The protagonist supplied growing amounts of divine energy to the pillar, which expanded steadily at first but slowed as its size increased, raising concerns about time constraints from impending threats by the forces of Destruction. As the dirt spread, the protagonist sensed a deepening connection to it, enabling him to manipulate the earth with ease and hinting at broader control over the area when enveloping himself in a veil of soil.

Given the authority I possessed over this region, my mind naturally drifted to a method often depicted in the stories from my previous existence.

"Could this be considered a domain?" I wondered aloud to myself, gazing at the surrounding layer of soil.

Based on my understanding of domains from my former life, this qualified as one because it represented a zone under my influence through divine energy.

Yet, I remained uncertain about the exact nature of this domain.

Although it seemed like I held sway over every element within this expanse, no unique abilities stood out that I could employ here.

Typically, domains possess a defining special trait. In contrast, this one emerged from the soil generated by the divine energy infused into the stone column.

Nothing remarkable distinguished this soil from the ordinary at its core.

After some reflection, I gestured with my hand, allowing the soil to settle back onto the earth.

Next, I retrieved the orb and raised it before me, concentrating on extracting its inherent power.

The soil had been formed solely from my divine energy, yet it wasn't something I had truly crafted myself. Thus, my options for manipulating it were quite limited in the end.

"Perhaps I ought to experiment with forming a domain using items I've personally brought into being."

However, while clutching the orb, I found myself at a loss regarding what materials to utilize for crafting such a domain. No particular substance seemed required to establish it in my vicinity.

Thus, following a moment of contemplation, I proceeded to manifest the identical armaments as earlier.

After their creation, I directed them to encircle me just as the soil had done previously.

Even though I anticipated no remarkable outcome from this attempt, the instant the armaments enclosed me...

"Ah, so this constitutes a domain?" I observed the precise arrangement of the armaments.

My intention had simply been for the armaments to encircle me, yet they aligned in a manner suggesting a deliberate array. I hadn't instructed any specific configuration, but they assumed it regardless.

This sight struck me as peculiar, though I sensed the profound link emanating from the armaments.

A mere flicker of intent from me would suffice to...

"Attack."

The moment those words escaped my lips, a transformation swept across the armaments.

A number of the armaments positioned at my rear appeared to vanish, though I recognized this as merely a shift in their state. The divine energy composing those armaments had dispersed and circulated through the array.

This divine energy surged toward the target I designated for assault and integrated into the armaments already present. Upon merging, it reshaped them into solid forms anew, thrusting forward at the precise spot I intended.

"Defend."

Upon issuing this command, the armaments reverted once again to their divine energy state. While a handful lingered as channels, the majority dissolved back into pure divine energy.

Suddenly, a barrier materialized out of nowhere.

Unlike a barrier forged from armaments, this was a genuine shield constructed from some mysterious substance.

Observing this development, I chose to persist in alternating the divine energy between its offensive and defensive configurations.

That said, I incorporated a couple of additional elements.

Rather than relying solely on armaments, I transformed portions of the divine energy into bows that launched arrows of divine energy toward the zones I selected.

The domain I had established possessed the versatility to produce whatever I envisioned, provided I supplied the necessary divine energy to shape it.

Moreover, this extended further because I saturated the entire area with divine energy.

As a result, anything I conceived could manifest instantly within this domain's bounds.

Thus, it transcended mere command over armaments born of divine energy. It evolved to the extent that I could dominate the whole space via the divine energy I emitted.

Consequently, the response time for any assault I initiated plummeted to just milliseconds.

This marked a vast improvement over my prior method of wielding the orb in combat.

The sole concern nagging at me was the potential scope of expanding this domain.

"Time to put it to the test." I whispered to myself before unleashing a greater surge of divine energy. With each release, I felt the domain expand steadily until it hit an immovable boundary.

The issue wasn't a shortage of strength to propel further growth; rather, it stemmed from a cap on the amount of divine energy I could effectively manage. Even with surplus divine energy available, the domain couldn't accommodate more.

This boiled down to a question of proficiency, not raw power insufficiency.

Nevertheless, with my current level of skill, the domain encompassed a substantial territory.

After all, this represented a freshly acquired ability, so my lack of expertise in wielding it came as no surprise.

Yet, considering that I discovered this amid my mission to aid these rock elementals...

A suspicion crept in that my dispatch here might have been deliberate.

Ultimately, though, I dismissed that notion since it held no relevance.

Intentional or otherwise, uncovering the truth seemed impossible anyway.

The greater my command over this ability, the more advantageous it would prove.

The broader my capabilities with it, the stronger my defenses against future threats.
