Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2034: Can’t be used

Previously on Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure...
Shota contemplated the divine power of creation gathered in his hand, his mindset shifted since returning from the Merman Empire, knowing secrecy was futile as others already suspected its existence. Determined to master it before external threats or the God of Creation could exploit him—especially amid his crucial role against the forces of Destruction—he began testing its limits by forming a simple piece of wood. To his surprise, the unassuming wood proved extraordinarily durable, effortlessly splitting a reinforced training dummy and resisting his immense strength, revealing it as a novel material. He created additional samples of basic substances like metal and plastic, then delivered them to the sea witches' research facility, where Puffer's initial tests yielded unprecedented readings, leaving her stunned as Shota prepared to explain their origin.

Upon stepping into the research lab the following morning, exhaustion was plain to see across every face in the room.

Yet despite their weary appearances, the thrill sparking in their eyes was impossible to miss.

Without that spark of eagerness, they never would have kept dashing about in such a frenzy.

Clearly, these researchers had pulled an all-nighter poring over the samples I'd presented to them. Now, pure adrenaline fueled by their fervor kept them going.

Their frantic movements carried an enthusiasm that bordered on intimidating.

Nevertheless, I approached Puffer and inquired, "How is it? Did you find anything interesting about these samples?"

She spun toward me right away at my question and dragged me to the device she'd been focused on.

This device was a unique magical tool crafted from the collective expertise housed in this lab. Mostly, it drew on the tech from the old Democratic Union in its design as a magical apparatus.

It resembled the advanced analysis equipment from my previous world.

Undoubtedly, it appeared far more sophisticated than relying on manual examination of these samples.

That said, the display currently showed readings that caught my attention.

Those blank results indicated they truly couldn't uncover a thing about the samples I'd provided.

Or more accurately, their current tools fell short of revealing the nature of these samples.

Based on their earlier explanations, I recalled that this machine worked by blasting the inserted object with mana pulses. Those pulses would provoke a reaction from the object, yielding valuable data.

Be it a known pattern or an unfamiliar one, some form of information always emerged from the process.

A null result, however, suggested that the mana pulses from the machine had been outright blocked by the inserted items.

I hadn't expected these items to possess the resilience needed to defy the mana pulses so effectively.

But upon reflection, these creations originated from divine energy after all.

Divine energy operated on an entirely superior plane to mana, so it stood to reason that mana pulses couldn't breach objects forged from it.

Still, this left us clueless about the composition of these samples.

"You made them, so surely you can alter their form, can't you?" Puffer finally concluded.

I arched an eyebrow at her words, though I sensed she might be onto something.

Dissolving them would oppose the essence of creation and our goals entirely. Reshaping them, however, still aligned with creation, as it didn't involve erasure.

I was merely reshaping my own handiwork.

That being said, I had no clue what Puffer intended for me to do with them.

"Make them as thin as possible."

Her suggestion caught me off guard, as it struck me as the simplest approach imaginable. Yet the earnest expression on her face as she spoke convinced me she meant it.

With a slight curl of my mouth, I followed her request.

I selected the wood sample, deeming it the most straightforward of the bunch, and molded it into an incredibly slender sliver. It seemed liable to shatter at the slightest touch, but deep down, I knew it could endure.

No matter how much force someone applied to break that fragile-looking strip, not even a mark would appear on it.

Such was the incredible durability of this substance.

As expected, even at that extreme thinness, the mana pulses failed to pass through the wood.

The wood wasn't unique in this; every other sample reacted identically.

In the end, Puffer let out a heavy sigh and admitted, "There’s just no use for it. Other than being strong, it doesn’t seem like there are any other attributes to it."

The rest of the researchers murmured their assent.

I understood they'd reached this verdict only after exhaustive experiments.

After all, discovering the machine's inability to scan it hadn't stopped them. They'd conducted countless additional trials on the samples before deeming them useless.

Evidence of their various experiments littered the lab around us.

With them declaring it impractical, it appeared my creation ability held little value for crafting simple items. Apparently, it shone only in producing intricate ones, like the blood vaccine sample.

"Who said that there’s no use to it? You just don’t know how to use it properly."

Puffer's eyes narrowed instantly, and she whipped around toward the source of the voice.

I turned with her and spotted Max standing nearby.

His presence initially startled me, but it quickly made sense—he was an expert in corruption energy and divine energy studies, after all.
