Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2025: It’s not finished yet

Previously on Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure...
The patients, afflicted by a mysterious illness, were enclosed in balls of pure water created by the protagonist, allowing healing magic and potions to finally take effect and begin their slow recovery. Upon regaining consciousness, they reacted with fear, lashing out and suspecting the mermaids of poisoning them, a suspicion the protagonist initially shared before using the kraken's power to uncover the truth. Calming them with the kraken's influence, the protagonist arranged for their return to Aestum's hidden domain, bringing the Merman King along to seek answers. In the taboo zone, the whirlpools vanished under the kraken's power, and the group approached the central throne statue, where a blue light from Aestum awaited as the protagonist demanded the truth.

True to expectations, Aestum offered no reply.

This secret had been hidden by it for so long, making it unlikely that a simple demand from me would prompt any sudden revelation.

A faint ripple in the orb of azure glow was the sole sign of activity from Aestum.

Though unclear what it signified, hesitation didn't appear to be the cause.

Following an extended quiet, Aestum at last spoke, "It’s not time yet. It’s not finished yet."

"Not finished? What exactly do you mean?" I inquired, my tone weighed down with concern.

Yet the reply came only as, "You possess the ability to reverse this predicament, so employ it to alter the destiny of everyone present."

This left me even more bewildered, though the chance to probe further vanished as the blue light sphere abruptly dimmed and vanished.

Jaw slackening at the sight, I could scarcely believe a deity such as Aestum would resort to fleeing. Still, the abrupt departure left no doubt that evasion was precisely what it had done.

Under pressure from my questions, it had simply vanished without allowing me another word.

Nothing else explained it but an attempt to dodge my inquiry.

Gradually regaining my composure, I turned my gaze to the kraken coiled around my limb.

The creature stayed motionless, averting its eyes from me, behaving as if it sought to attract zero notice. Almost like it aimed to pass as lifeless matter.

Still, overlooking it so simply wasn't in my nature.

"I don’t know anything." The kraken's final words hung in the air.

My eyes tightened instantly upon hearing that, yet deception didn't seem to taint its statement.

As Aestum's envoy, it didn't receive every detail from its master. Moreover, with this being a divine secret shared between two gods, easy disclosure was out of the question.

Now, my sole option lay in deciphering the meaning behind Aestum's cryptic words.

It claimed I held the power to reshape the fate of all those here...

Could that imply I possessed a means to aid the local races against their debilitating allergies?

Recalling my previous existence, innovations existed to combat such conditions. Admittedly, I wasn't a healer back then, so my knowledge remained superficial.

A vague notion of their function was all I grasped, without insight into their production.

Nevertheless, it provided a starting point at least...

"Summon the sea witches; their assistance is essential," I declared with a weary exhale.

Surprise flickered across the Merman King's features at my command, but he promptly directed the royal guards accordingly.

Unaware of the full picture, he caught the essence from overhearing Aestum's words. Resolving this weighed on him, as it could alleviate the royal family's lingering remorse in the affair.

Thus, he committed to offering whatever support he could muster.

The guards' swift actions ensured the sea witches' prompt arrival.

Indeed, Zyra spearheaded their group, drawn by curiosity to the unfolding events.

Alternatively, one might say she bore a share of the burden, tied as she was to the ex-crown prince through marriage.

With everyone assembled, I described the remedies from my former life capable of addressing allergies.

Awareness struck me that my words likely baffled them, evident from the puzzled expressions etched on their faces.

Prompting Zyra's abrupt query, "What is this 'allergy' that you speak of?"

Anticipating as much, I clarified the concept as thoroughly as possible.

Though no medical expert in my prior life, my general understanding allowed me to convey the basics effectively.

"So it’s like this...We already knew that there was something like this, but we never thought that it would be this complicated."

Not only Zyra sank into contemplation upon this revelation; the other sea witches mirrored her introspection.

Being scholars at heart, the sea witches seized upon any intriguing subject with fervor...

I observed patiently to see if insights would emerge, but progress eluded them. Even with my explanation, rapid comprehension proved elusive.

Indeed, 'allergy' remained an elusive notion for them, defying easy conceptualization.

Shifting focus, I delved into descriptions of past-life treatments for allergies.

During this, their facial reactions drew a wry grin to my lips.

Recognizing the challenge of bridging concepts from my old world into this realm of sorcery, I pressed on regardless.

Ultimately, they struggled to track my narrative.

This shifted only when I brought up allergy shots.

"So it’s basically using the substance to build up the body’s resistance. It’s like the tonics that we use."

Shock rippled through me at that realization, prompting my swift retort, "Tell me more."
