Three years after Su Ming entered the Forbidden God Abyss without any sign of his return, the Federation mourns their lost heroes and struggles to recover from the great battle. Long Bai, now leading the Federation, approves documents and oversees the erection of statues honoring the fallen. Meanwhile, a scholar discusses the dire state of the Federation's economy and the slim hope offered by exploring the Forbidden God Abyss. Unbeknownst to all, Su Ming has returned, surprising Irelia with his reappearance and explaining his survival through a peculiar "cooperation" with the Forbidden Abyss God.

"Right, cooperation! That's what I said. As long as the Forbidden Abyss God provides us with ores, with these ores, the Federation won't just survive economically; it will rise completely! Then we can expand outward. At that time, the expansion map can be swallowed by the Forbidden God Abyss however it wants, to whatever extent it wishes to expand."

Su Ming said with a smile.

"Is that even possible?"

Irina said with a smile.

"Of course it is, you know who I am."

Su Ming picked up his chopsticks and replied while eating his ramen.

"Look at you, so capable."

Irina, in a very good mood as well, picked up a napkin to wipe the oil from the corner of Su Ming's mouth.

Su Ming quickly finished the big bowl of clear broth beef noodles and let out a satisfied sigh.

"Want another bowl?"

Irelia asked gently.

"No need, but shouldn't you do something with me?"

"What is it? Tell me first."

"Of course, it's going home with me to meet my parents."

Su Ming replied with a smile.

"Alright!"

Irelia responded with a light laugh.

"Let's go!"

Seeing Irelia agree, Su Ming reached out to hold her hand and left.

...

Early the next morning.

Third Planet, Thirteenth District.

Su Ming brought Irelia to the gate of his family's villa. Through the gate, he could see the familiar small garden; everything was arranged the same as before, with no changes.

Ever since the great battle ended three years ago, Su Yuan and Zhao Ning had moved back to live in the Thirteenth District.

At this time, the villa's door opened, and Su Yuan, carrying a small briefcase, walked out listlessly, ready to go to work.

When he opened the gate, he was met with a figure wearing a smiling mask standing in front of him.

Su Yuan was also taken aback and instinctively asked.

"Who are you?"

"It's me, Father."

Su Ming immediately reached out and removed the mask, smiling as he replied.

"A ghost!"

Seeing Su Ming, Su Yuan's eyes widened in terror as he shouted, and then he fainted on the spot.

Su Ming quickly reached out to support Su Yuan, his face full of black lines.

After all these years, his father's courage was still so small, this was truly embarrassing.

Irelia also showed a faint smile upon witnessing this scene.

At this time, Zhao Ning heard the commotion and, thinking something had happened, rushed out with a frying pan.

"Honey, are you alright?"

"Mother, Father is fine."

Su Ming explained with a slight twitch at the corner of his mouth, looking at Zhao Ning, who was holding a frying pan.

Seeing Su Ming, Zhao Ning froze, and then with a trembling voice asked.

"Son, is it really you?"

"It's me."

"You're not dead?"

"I'm not dead."

Su Ming replied with a smile.

"That's great!"

Zhao Ning rushed forward excitedly and hugged Su Ming.

"Mother, don't get too excited yet, Father fainted from fright. Let's move him inside first!"

Su Ming said with a smile to Zhao Ning.

"Right, let's get him inside."

Zhao Ning joyfully replied.

Soon, the three of them helped Su Yuan to a chair in the living room.

Zhao Ning quickly pinched the bridge of Su Yuan's nose.

Su Yuan groggily woke up and immediately saw Zhao Ning in front of him.

He immediately grabbed Zhao Ning's hand, speaking incoherently.

"Wife, I just saw a ghost, I actually saw our son."

"Father, are you talking about me?"

Su Ming said with a smile.

"Gho...." Su Yuan began to stutter.

Then Zhao Ning slapped Su Yuan's head, saying.

"Ghost what, this is our son, he's back!"

"Ah? You're not dead?"

Su Yuan asked, confused.

Su Ming said, unable to decide whether to laugh or cry.

"I just went to deal with the will of the Forbidden God Abyss, it doesn't mean I would necessarily die."

"Ah, that's wonderful."

Upon hearing Su Ming's words, Su Yuan's expression changed to one of great joy.

At this point, Zhao Ning suddenly noticed Irelia beside them, momentarily stunned, feeling she looked very familiar, and then hesitated to ask.

"Son, who's this?"

Su Yuan turned and noticed Irelia only after hearing Zhao Ning's words.

"Let me introduce you; she's Irelia, my girlfriend, and your future daughter-in-law!"

Su Ming formally introduced her.

"Hello, Uncle, Aunt,"

Irelia greeted respectfully.

"Su Ming, come with me for a moment."

Zhao Ning froze for a second, then remembered something, quickly pulling Su Ming into the kitchen.

Su Ming looked bewildered at Zhao Ning and asked.

"What's up, Mother?"

"Son, your girlfriend is actually my senior from Imperial Court Academy."

Zhao Ning said somewhat at a loss for words.

Though Irelia was very low-key at Imperial Court Academy, her presence was simply dazzling.

Hence, Zhao Ning knew Irelia, but Irelia didn't really know her.

"Huh?"

Hearing Zhao Ning's words, Su Ming was equally stunned.

"Why did you find someone older than you by so much? Wouldn't you consider the other girls, they're nice too."

Zhao Ning said, somewhat at a loss.

"It's alright. A bit older is better!"

Su Ming replied with a smile to Zhao Ning.

"Alright, as long as you like it."

Zhao Ning said, opting not to continue fretting over it since Su Ming seemed set on his choice.

Su Ming and Zhao Ning then returned with some fruit.

"What were you two talking about, all secretive?"

Su Yuan asked curiously.

"Nothing!"

Su Ming replied with a smile.

"By the way, son, have you eaten breakfast yet?"

"Not yet."

"We'll make you breakfast right away!"

Su Yuan replied happily.

...

Federation Government·Dawn Hall.

Long Chen, Alicia, and other council members and generals sat in their council seats.

The council chamber was almost completely filled.

At this moment, many members kept turning to look towards the side door but did not see any sign of Lord Long Bai after watching for a while.

"What's going on? Wasn't the meeting supposed to start at eight?"

"It's almost nine, and we still haven't seen Lord Long Bai."

"Yeah, she's never been late before."

"Did something happen?"

"I don't know. We have a lot to discuss today."

...

The present council members and generals discussed nervously.

Sitting in the front row, Ferion and Jone also appeared puzzled.

"Old Fei, am I seeing things? Lord Long Bai hasn't arrived for the meeting yet!"

"Unbelievable."

"What do we do now?"

"I don't know; I'll send a message to Lord Long Bai!"

Ferion took a deep breath.

At this time, Long Chen and others, worried about Long Bai being late, raised their wristbands as well.

...

Inside the villa dining room.

Su Ming, Irelia, Su Yuan, and Zhao Ning sat around the dining table.

The table was filled with a sumptuous breakfast, projected in front of them was a virtual TV image.

Zhao Ning warmly invited Irelia, saying.

"I didn't manage to prepare anything good in a rush, but I'll have my husband buy some good ingredients for lunch."

"You're too kind, Aunt. These dishes are fine."

Irelia replied with a smile.

"Then eat more."

Zhao Ning quickly placed more food on Irelia's plate.

Su Yuan also echoed Zhao Ning's sentiments, though he was not talkative.

"Yes, eat more! Make yourself at home, this is your home."

"Alright, thank you, Uncle."

Irelia nodded in agreement.

"No need to thank me, we're family."

Zhao Ning said with a laugh, then stood up to pull Su Yuan.
