Commander Alekde issues a full combat alert as the Mechanical Clan launches an unexpected attack. Su Ming dispatches Li Menghan to retrieve the modified Mecha Ilyas, encountering Admiral Visado en route. Meanwhile, Long Bai tasks Alekde with defending Earth Flame Star, while Elorazad orders Pamie to disable enemy weapons.

Outside the Third Planet.

The pitch-black starry sky rippled, and Sunshine tore out of Subspace.

Central control room.

Su Ming sat steady in the command chair, checking the time every now and then.

At this moment Li Menghan reported to Su Ming.

"Lord Su Ming, we’ve arrived in the outer starry sky of the Third Planet."

"Good, land at Starlight City."

Su Ming said to Li Menghan.

"Uh, I’m afraid we can’t land."

"Why not?"

"I just sent a landing request to Starlight City’s interstellar airport and was told there’s no route down. Every route over Starlight City is at full capacity."

Li Menghan explained to Su Ming.

"Full capacity?"

For a moment Su Ming thought he’d misheard.

"Yeah, look!"

Li Menghan immediately opened the Optical Device and projected the image of the Third Planet.

They saw ships of all kinds of models swarming toward the Third Planet, cramming their way in, while countless other ships kept fleeing toward the rear.

Inbound and outbound ships jammed every route, and they could even see some ships brushing past each other, scenes where they almost collided.

Su Ming’s heart sank as he watched this scene.

Beside him Ankaga also spoke in surprise.

"Boss, what the hell is this? Are they fleeing? The enemy hasn’t even broken through yet."

"No, something’s off!"

Su Ming clearly felt something was wrong, and immediately raised his wristband, logging into the Star Cluster Forum to check what was going on.

As soon as he entered the forum, a bunch of eye‑catching headlines popped up.

"Earth Flame Star defense line in peril, Federation on the brink!"

"Paying big money for a refugee ticket!"

...

Su Ming’s expression shifted as he read these posts. He’d just left the defense line and it was already in crisis? That was way too ridiculous. What the hell happened? Could it be fake news?

He immediately clicked into the top‑pinned post, which contained a piece of video footage shot by a war correspondent.

One hour ago · Earth Flame Star defense line.

A skull‑shaped fortress, its whole body made of special black Living Metal, its surface covered with red energy veins and mechanical tentacles trailing from its underside—the Erosion Sun Fortress—was advancing like an octopus swimming through the sea, leading a massive army of Mechanical Flying Insects, Mechanical Octopus, Puppet Mecha, Mechanical Bionic Beasts and more, pressing toward the Earth Flame Star defense line like a spreading black cloud.

At this moment on the Earth Flame Star defense line, countless defensive weapons lit up.

The Main Cannons of the Legendary Level Star Destroyer·Divine Concealment and other ships began charging, rows of launch ports opening.

Blackthorn Fortress, central control room.

The huge operation screen was displaying the readiness status of numerous defensive weapons and ships.

"Legendary Level Star Destroyer·Divine Concealment ready!"

"Star Destroyer·Gray Crystal ready!"

"Star Destroyer·Thunder Extreme ready!"

...

Visado reported to Alekde in a cold, killing tone.

"Commander Alekde, all weapons and Combat Personnel are ready. Estimated contact in nine minutes forty‑two seconds."

"Very good."

Commander Alekde’s eyes were locked on the jumping countdown.

Everyone stared at the constantly shrinking numbers, nerves stretched to the breaking point.

From the images displayed by the Optical Devices, they could see the Mechanical Clan’s forces advancing like a mass of dark clouds, blotting out every patch of Starry Sky they passed.

But just then, a sudden change occurred. The black tide of Mechanical troops stopped without warning, halting right outside the defense line’s firing range.

Visado reported in confusion.

"Commander, the enemy has stopped."

"Order everyone to stay on high alert."

Alekde’s brows knit tightly, an intense unease rising in his chest. He felt something bad was about to happen.

"Yes, sir!"

Visado answered immediately.

...

Void Eye Fortress · central control room.

Pamie stood at the control console, eyes on the distant Earth Flame Star defense line, his electronic eyes flashing non‑stop.

Kroos, the Mechanic Master took a drag of his cigarette, exhaled ring after ring of smoke, and said in a mocking tone,

"Weren’t you planning to sit on the mountain and watch the tigers fight? Why are you making a move so soon?"

"All thanks to that idiot Elrosatin."

"Since when did that guy get to climb onto your head? Want me to wipe it out for you?"

"Hmph, mind your own business."

Pamie’s electronic eyes suddenly flared.

In an instant, the Starry Sky in front of the Mechanical Clan’s vast army rippled.

A gigantic fortress, three thousand kilometers on each edge, entirely built from special black Living Metal in the shape of a Magic Cube, surfaced into view.

Blackthorn Fortress, central control room.

A shrill alarm screeched to life, red warning boxes popping up all over the operation screen.

"Warning: Mechanical Race·Void Eye Fortress detected!"

...

"Not good, it’s Pamie!!"

Commander Alekde’s face changed drastically.

At this moment, the massive surface of the Void Eye Fortress split open like a flower bud, revealing a gigantic Mechanical Eye inside.

Pamie unleashed its power in an instant, purple halos erupting and orbiting all around its body.

The entire Void Eye Fortress pushed its power output to the maximum.

In a heartbeat, the enormous Mechanical Eye blazed with dazzling light, the surrounding space twisting violently.

The virtual interface in Pamie’s eyes instantly locked onto the numerous defensive weapons of the Earth Flame Star defense line.

Then the Void Eye Fortress suddenly erupted, sending an invisible wave surging toward the Earth Flame Star defense line.

In an instant, Light Annihilation Heavenly Weapons, Crystal Origin Fortress and other defensive systems along the Earth Flame Star defense line suddenly went offline.

Inside the Erosion Sun Fortress.

Elrosatin watched the Earth Flame Star’s paralyzed weapons and said excitedly,

"Nice work! Move in!"

As much as Elrosatin looked down on Pamie, it had to admit Pamie’s ability to suppress Mechanical weapons was really something else.
