The Dark Star Emperor receives news that the Holy Army, aided by the Land of Lost, has attacked their production areas and mining stars while their forces were away. The Emperor, furious at the betrayal and Long Bai's effectiveness, deems a retreat too costly. Instead, he orders the First Legion, led by the awakened Commander Mosakaye, to fully deploy and press their attack on the Federation. Meanwhile, news of the successful defense of the Nether Moon Star Line is celebrated, but this is quickly overshadowed by the urgent report of the Black Flame Star Defense Line being breached.

"What did you say?"

The City Lord of Farren City stood abruptly, his fury ignited by the startling news.

"Impossible? How could it have fallen so swiftly?"

"What in the blazes is transpiring?"

...

All eyes turned upward, fixated on the unfolding events of the Black Flame Star battlefield.

It was then they grasped the grim reality: the First Legion of the Dark Star Empire had violently intervened, shattering the defenses of Sky Dome City and plunging into Black Flame Star.

Farren’s gaze snapped towards Long Bai, a sharp question escaping his lips,

"Lord Long Bai, was Ferion not dispatched for reinforcements? Why has he not yet arrived?"

A flicker of a frown crossed Long Bai’s face as he raised a hand, attempting to establish contact with Starshine Fortress.

The virtual display flashed an unwelcome notification.

"Notification: Contact currently unavailable."

"Why can we not reach them?"

"Surely, something must have gone terribly wrong?"

...

A wave of unease washed over the council members as they voiced their growing apprehension.

Long Bai’s demeanor hardened; the prolonged absence of Ferion from the Black Flame Star battlefield and the inability to contact him pointed undeniably towards a grave incident.

...

------------------------------------

Three hours prior.

Within the command center of Starshine Fortress, an atmosphere of intense concentration prevailed.

Ferion occupied the command chair, his expression one of profound gravity.

Jone voiced his concerns with a worried tone,

"Old Fei, this reinforcement mission appears fraught with peril. The weaponry along the Black Flame Star’s defense perimeter has been entirely neutralized. I question our ability to hold the line."

"We must endeavor, regardless of the odds," Ferion stated firmly.

"However, speaking of which, the disabling of Black Flame Star’s armaments inexplicably fills me with a peculiar sense of foreboding."

"I share that sentiment. How much longer until our arrival?"

Ferion, rubbing his temples, inquired.

"Shortly. We are nearing the curvature interference zone; we should reach the Black Flame Star defense line within the next hour at most," Jone replied, consulting his chrono-display.

At that precise moment, an unforeseen anomaly materialized. The expanse of stars ahead rippled, and from the distortion emerged a colossal fortress, its form a perfect cube, each side spanning three thousand kilometers, meticulously constructed from a unique, sentient black metal.

Blaring klaxons rent the air, and crimson warning indicators flashed urgently across the control console.

"Warning: Mechanical Clan – Void Eye Fortress detected!"

...

The optical imaging systems promptly broadcast the captured visuals.

"Disaster! It’s Pamie’s fortress, the Vice Clan Leader’s! I never anticipated we’d cross paths with them here," Jone exclaimed, his features contorted with grim recognition.

"They court destruction. We’ve brought a formidable fleet this time!" Ferion declared icily.

"What is our course of action?"

"Leave the strategic deployment to you. I shall lead the charge against them!"

"Understood!"

Jone gave a resolute nod.

Ferion swiftly moved towards the readying mobile platform.

...

Within the central observation chamber of the Void Fortress.

Pami and the Leader of the Clos Sect stood on the viewing platform, their gazes fixed upon the distantly approaching Starshine Fortress.

"Starshine Fortress… what an unexpected boon. I hadn't presumed we would encounter it in this sector."

"I confess, I fail to grasp your rationale for targeting Starshine Fortress. Does this not compromise our concealed position?" Clos inquired, a cigarette already lit between his fingers as he took a contemplative puff.

"I harbor suspicions that Long Xian and the Dimension Stone are concealed within its confines," Pami stated, his voice a low murmur.

"Your trust in Long Ying wavers?"

"It is not a matter of trust in Long Ying, but rather in the inherent nature of beings. Humans are notoriously deceptive. Consider President Long Bai, whose keen intellect allows him to perceive the intricacies of human behavior, often leading him to undertake actions that defy conventional logic. Furthermore, the most effective method of safeguarding a secret is to conceal it in plain sight; no one would dare suspect that she would harbor the President of the Dragon String Council and the Dimension Stone within the Starshine Fortress."

"Are you certain of this presumption?"

Clos regarded Pami with a glint of keen interest in his eyes.

"My certainty is incomplete. Hence, I require your assistance to assault Starshine Fortress and ascertain its contents!"

"And are you not concerned that should your intuition prove correct, and Dragon String indeed yet lives, our own destruction will be sealed?"

"We shall embrace the risk!"

Pami declared with unwavering resolve.

The opportunity was too significant to let slip through his grasp.

"Understood."

Clos offered a thin smile and turned to depart.

.....

Amidst the vastness of the starry expanse.

The primary cannon of the Starshine Fortress began to hum ominously, arcs of potent lightning swirling as it charged with alarming speed.

Numerous boarding hatches hissed open in unison.

Whoosh!

Ferion, at the helm of the V Generation Mecha named Dark Executioner, burst forth, closely trailed by twenty Erosion Shadows, a contingent of thirty assorted Fake V Generation Mechas, two hundred Fourth Generation Mechas, and an uncountable swarm of Mechanical Army units that poured out like an agitated hive.

They coalesced rapidly into a formidable battle formation.

At this very instant, a boarding aperture on the distant Void Eye dilated.

Whoosh!

A streak of vibrant purple erupted forth, closely pursued by a VI Generation Mecha—the Void Hunter. Towering at 120 meters, this colossal machine bore a striking resemblance to a griffin, its metallic head sharp and imposing. Constructed entirely from rare crimson metal, its form was intricately adorned with complex purple circuitry. A circular purple luminescence pulsed from its chest, and it wielded a scarlet metallic longsword, its sharp metallic claws poised for battle. A radiant sun emblem was branded upon its chest, while six pairs of purple metal wings were embedded upon its back, emanating potent waves of power that permeated the surroundings. "What kind of mecha is this?" Ferion’s expression turned grave as he laid eyes upon the Void Hunter. At that precise moment, Jone's voice, laced with anxiety, crackled through the communication channel. "Ferion, what shall we do? The enemy has deployed a VI Generation Mecha, and we possess no countermeasure against a VI Generation Mecha!" "What is there to fear? They only possess a single mecha; let us overwhelm it!" Ferion responded with fierce determination.
