The Chilami forces, including their Great Elder and a VI-type Fortress, launched a massive assault on the Nether Moon Star Defense Line. Despite the deployment of the Sea God Fortress, Black Tide Fortress, and defensive weapons, the initial attacks overwhelmed the Guardian Shields and severely damaged the Sea God Fortress's energy barrier. As the defense line began to crumble under the relentless tide of enemies, Long Chen ordered the Fourteenth Legion and the Star Destroyer Grey Angel to advance, successfully repelling the immediate threat and easing the pressure on the defenders.

The Federation's populace erupted in cheers, their gazes glued to the screens. Though the Grey Angel's arrival hadn't definitively broken the enemy's hold, it had become the ultimate emblem of hope and impending victory for most Federation citizens and soldiers. "Brothers, the Grey Angel has joined the fray!" someone roared, followed by a thunderous "Charge!" ... The beleaguered soldiers on the crumbling defense line found renewed strength with the sight of the legendary Grey Angel. In the heart of the Legendary Star Destroyer Guang Xiao's control center, Yakes delivered a crucial report to the Fanluo God Emperor. "My lord, the Grey Angel has entered the battlefield." The God Emperor responded with a slight smirk, "Heh, it's finally decided to show itself. Yakes, this formidable unit is now in your hands." Slowly rising from his command chair, the Fanluo God Emperor acknowledged, "Yes!" Yakes bowed respectfully. The God Emperor then proceeded to a nearby transport platform, which descended into the depths of the ship. Mere moments later, the primary airlock of the Legendary Star Destroyer Guang Xiao dilated. A searing streak of crimson light burst forth, hurtling towards the Nether Moon Star Defense Line, searing a path through the vacuum of space. Within the cockpit of the Zero-degree Envoy, an urgent alarm blared, accompanied by a stark red warning. "Warning: VI Generation Mecha Purgatory Angel detected!" Morigko's head snapped up as the approaching Fanluo God Emperor came into view. Without hesitation, he expertly maneuvered the Zero-degree Envoy, transforming it into a sharp, icy lance aimed directly at his adversary. A collision of crimson and blue light ensued in the star-dusted expanse. Boom! The cosmos itself seemed to reverberate with the deafening explosion and the subsequent tidal wave of energy that surged outward. The Zero-degree Envoy was violently thrown back. Morigko stared at the Purgatory Angel, a flicker of disbelief crossing his face. Had the enemy's mecha performance been significantly enhanced? "Morigko, it has been many years since our last encounter," the Fanluo God Emperor's voice resonated, tinged with a hint of former camaraderie. "The last time we stood together, side-by-side. I never imagined our paths would cross in such a manner on the battlefield. Truthfully, I have no desire to fight you." "If you wish to avoid conflict, then surrender," Morigko retorted, his voice a cold whisper. "I give you my word, your life will be spared." "Sigh~" the God Emperor sighed, a melancholic tone entering his voice. "We haven't seen each other for such a long time, and now we finally have a moment to converse, yet you resort to such harsh words?" "If conversation is not possible, then let us not speak," Morigko stated flatly. "Very well, I shall overlook your impudence!" A broad smile spread across the Fanluo God Emperor's face as he piloted the Purgatory Angel, engulfing it in roaring flames, and charged ferociously towards Morigko. Morigko met the onslaught without a hint of fear, hurtling forward to intercept. ... ------------------------------------ Within Defense Zone 5, Oshim, his bone wings unfurled, moved with the speed of a comet, weaving a high-speed pattern around Su Ming. Su Ming, piloting Ilyas, maintained a calm, defensive posture. Abruptly, Oshim shifted his trajectory, launching a swift, vicious assault towards Su Ming, his black bone sword arcing towards Ilyas. Su Ming's reflexes were astonishingly quick; he swung his Dragon Base Spear, intercepting the incoming strike. "Vibrate Spear!" *Clang!* Sparks flew as Oshim's bone sword was forcefully deflected. Su Ming swiftly retracted his Dragon Base Spear and, with the force of a thunderbolt, thrust it towards Oshim. Oshim, unable to evade in time, felt a sharp pain. *Crack!* The Dragon Base Spear embedded itself in his shoulder. From his opening, Oshim initiated a charge, unleashing a volatile Kais Beam at point-blank range towards Ilyas's head. Su Ming, anticipating Oshim's desperate move, immediately maneuvered Ilyas to withdraw the Dragon Base Spear and lean back, narrowly evading the blast. *Whoosh!* The Kais Beam seared past Ilyas's chassis. Having dodged the attack, Su Ming promptly adjusted his mech's stance. At that moment, Oshim beat his wings, charging directly at Su Ming. Just as they were about to collide, Oshim's bone sword morphed into a bone whip, lashing out with deadly precision. Su Ming's eyes narrowed; he raised his Dragon Base Spear to block the whip, then spun it clockwise, entangling the bone whip around his spear. With a sudden flick, he attempted to disarm Oshim. However, Oshim's crimson eyes flared with power, and his strength surged. He gripped the bone whip tightly, pulling Su Ming in the opposite direction with all his might. Su Ming's expression turned grim as he realized Oshim's intent. He quickly commanded Ilyas to unleash a powerful kick towards Oshim. *Bam!* Oshim's chest caved inward from the impact, sending him hurtling backward. Yet, Oshim swiftly regained his composure, hovering in the void of space. He looked up, genuine admiration in his gaze. "Remarkable, truly impressive," he declared. "Your technique, your neural reaction speed, your combat experience – they are all flawless! It is only a pity that Ilyas is too weak to inflict significant damage upon me! Had you been piloting its sister unit, Irene Liss, considering our previous exchanges, I would have been defeated long ago."

Oshim’s words caused Su Ming to knit his brows slightly.

It was at this moment that Ilyas’s phantom materialized behind Su Ming, offering an apologetic remark.

"Su Ming, I apologize for being such a burden to you."

"You shouldn’t speak that way. To reach this stage in such a brief period is remarkable!"

Su Ming offered a shake of his head as he addressed Ilyas.

"However, my strength remains insufficient."

Ilyas concurred with Oshim’s assessment; Su Ming’s performance throughout the entire conflict was impeccable, her skills unmatched by any opponent. She had even improved herself significantly during the fight, yet she still found herself hard-pressed, often defensive. This predicament stemmed from her insufficient power.

"That is not a failing on your part."

Su Ming declared with a stern tone.

Truthfully, at their current level of cultivation, acquiring a more formidable mecha was exceedingly difficult.

It wasn't that the Federation lacked mechas superior to Ilyas’s!

Both the Thunder Angel and the Zero-degree Envoy possessed capabilities surpassing Ilyas.

However, these two mechas were already claimed by their respective pilots, rendering them inaccessible to Su Ming.

As for Long Xian’s mecha, it was presumed to be under Long Bai’s command but would only be deployed in the direst of circumstances.
