"Impossible! Should our armaments fail us now, we'd be utterly doomed!" Aifulin and the others exclaimed, their faces etched with extreme unease.

It’s crucial to remember that even on Black Flame Star, where Sky Dome City stands as a formidable bastion, they are merely confronting the Dark Star Empire, and yet their defense line is already teetering on the brink.

Here, however, we face the combined might of the Chilami Clan and the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country. If our weaponry falters, the defense line is virtually guaranteed to crumble.

"Precisely because the situation is so dire, I have convened you all to deliberate on our countermeasures." Long Chen addressed the assembly with solemnity.

Commander Flaya promptly suggested, "To be absolutely safe, we should immediately conduct an exhaustive inspection of every weapon along the defense line."

"That makes perfect sense!" The assembled group concurred in unison.

"Wait a moment," Su Ming interjected, his voice cutting through the agreement.

All eyes turned to Su Ming, a flicker of confusion on their faces, as they inquired, "Su Ming, is there something amiss with Commander Flaya's proposal?"

"Listen carefully," Su Ming elaborated, "If the weapon malfunctions on the Black Flame Star Defense Line are indeed the work of the Mechanical Clan, specifically Vice Clan Leader Pami, then a mere inspection would be entirely pointless."

Long Chen questioned, bewildered, "Pami? Weren't they supposedly attacking the central defense line? Why would they target the Black Flame Star Defense Line instead of the Cui Lan Star Defense Line?"

Su Ming explained to the group, "That's because all armaments at the Cui Lan Star Defense Line have undergone modifications, and Commander Alekde had also implemented numerous preventative measures."

"Then, how are we to respond?" Commander Soraya asked, her tone grave.

"There is no effective way to counter it," Su Ming replied with a hint of helplessness. "This is its innate Talent Ability, which intrinsically and powerfully suppresses mechanical weaponry. Short of undertaking extensive modifications like those on the Cui Lan Star Defense Line, which would require immense resources, little can be done. Even then, the effectiveness is limited, and issues would inevitably persist."

"In that case, let's devise a plan to eliminate Pami!" General Angulat proposed coldly.

Su Ming sighed in response, "It's not as simple as eliminating it. It is far more cunning than average, and its true location remains unknown."

"So, we've reached an impasse!" Aifulin and the others declared, their frustration palpable.

"There's no other option; historically, our encounters with the Mechanical Clan have always resulted in us being suppressed," Su Ming stated, a sense of resignation in his voice. Without allies among the Alien Races, humanity struggles to contend with such advanced artificial intelligences.

For a moment, Long Chen and the others lapsed into silence, casting a heavy quiet over the entire conference room.

At that precise instant, the conference room door creaked open.

Su Ming and the others turned their heads to see the grim-faced Vice Minister Night Owl·Fidian entering the room.

"Fidian, what is the situation?" Long Chen inquired gravely.

Fidian directly informed Long Chen and the others, "Our personnel stationed within the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country have just transmitted an urgent message: the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country has begun mass troop mobilizations and is poised to launch an offensive imminently."

"Damn it, these fiends are truly insidious! As soon as the Black Flame Star Defense Line faces a crisis, they're quick to pounce!" Mia and the others voiced their anger.

"As expected," Long Chen and the others replied. While their expressions were grim, they were not entirely taken aback by the news.

At this juncture, Fidian continued, "Furthermore, intelligence from our spies suggests that the Fanluo God Emperor intends to initiate multi-front assaults this time. You must prepare your defensive strategies accordingly!"

"Understood. Thank you for your diligence." Long Chen expressed his gratitude to Fidian.

Without uttering another word, Fidian turned and departed.

Su Ming and the rest of the group turned their attention back to Long Chen, awaiting his commands.

Long Chen took a deep, steadying breath before addressing everyone present, "Let us set aside the issue concerning the defense line armaments for the moment. We shall now commence coordinating our defense deployments to counter the impending assaults from the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country."

"Yes!" Su Ming and the others responded with solemn determination.

"Legion Commander Qian Lin, you are to lead the Fourth Legion in defending Sector 1 of the central defense area!"

"No problem." Qian Lin acknowledged with seriousness.

"Legion Commander Qi Luo, you will command the Eighth Legion to secure Sector 2 of the defense area," Long Chen continued his directives.

"No problem!" Qi Luo nodded in agreement.

"As for Sector 5, although the defensive armaments have been replenished, the curvature ring interference device remains unrepaired. It is highly probable that the Fanluo God Emperor will concentrate heavy forces to assault this sector, necessitating a formidable legion for its defense." Long Chen hesitated slightly as he articulated this.

"Leave it to us! Don't worry about our pride; the Second Legion is more than capable."

Commander Soraya responded with sincerity.

"Sigh, very well. Sector 5 will be under the charge of the Second Legion! Following that is sector 3... is everyone clear on this?"

Long Chen swiftly finalized all the arrangements.

"Understood!"

A chorus of serious affirmations rose from everyone.

"Excellent, I won't elaborate further. Adhere to your assigned defensive positions for now, and we will make adjustments based on the unfolding situation. All generals are to remain in the headquarters command room, prepared to offer support wherever necessary."

"Understood."

Mia and the others rose and departed.
