The Chilami Clan Leader, Hirog, transforms into a powerful skeletal being and sets out to confront an old enemy, Herares. Meanwhile, on Viasela Planet, citizens of the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country are held as hostages within the Sin Domain base. An Ruoxue and her team observe the base, planning their next move while considering the difficult situation of the hostages.

Emkain spoke, his brows furrowed in concentration.

"Precisely, and that's the most challenging aspect."

An Ruoxue concurred with a nod.

Coronan remained silent, his gaze fixed on the base city, his thoughts unreadable.

"Coronan, do you have any viable strategies?" Emkain inquired, noticing Coronan's quiet observation.

"I lack any earth-shattering ideas myself, but I am anticipating someone's arrival," Coronan replied calmly.

"Who might that be?" Emkain questioned, a hint of curiosity in his voice.

"He is here. Let us descend and await him." Coronan's eyes caught sight of a jeep emerging from the base city.

"Understood," An Ruoxue and the others responded in unison.

Before long, the jeep reached the base of the small peak.

A rugged, dark-skinned man in his middle years exited the vehicle.

He scanned his surroundings, as if searching for a specific target.

At that moment, Coronan and his companions dropped their camouflage, revealing themselves and calling out.

"We are over here!"

The man appeared startled initially, but upon recognizing Coronan, he immediately spoke with reverence,

"Lord Coronan, my apologies for making you wait."

"Not at all, your timing is impeccable. Allow me to make introductions—this is General Sailuka, currently stationed at the Viasela underground base," Coronan introduced him to Emkain and the others.

"Excellent. Sailuka, you possess intimate knowledge of the situation within, correct?" Emkain and the others' faces lit up upon hearing this.

"Indeed. The Sin Domain Base is presented as a resettlement area for the families of the Abyss of Descent troops, intended to provide them peace of mind... but this is merely a facade. The entirety of the underground facility has been transformed into a colossal detention prison. All the families are confined within—stripped of their freedom, and enduring abysmal conditions. Only the relatives of high-ranking officers are afforded marginally better accommodations; the remainder exist in a dire state. Tragically, many have already succumbed to illness," Sailuka outlined the grim reality.

"Fanluo truly discards any pretense of humanity. So, how do we manage to bring the people out from within?" Emkain immediately pressed.

"Tomorrow afternoon, our shifts rotate. My comrades and I will be responsible for internal security then. At that juncture, you can make your move, and we shall coordinate the extraction," Sailuka informed Coronan and his group.

"Agreed, we shall proceed as planned," Coronan affirmed.

...The following night.Within the command center of the Sin Domain Base.A middle-aged man, adorned in a Vice Admiral's uniform, sported a noticeable beer belly and a face thick with jowls. He lounged in his chair, a scantily-clad woman in his embrace, leisurely savoring fine wine.

Just then, a diminutive man with small, sharp eyes approached, a wide smile plastered on his face, and said obsequiously,

"Esteemed Lord Quibi."

"Hodin, state your business," Quibi responded, casting a dismissive glance.

"My lord, those incarcerated lowlifes continue to be troublesome. They incessantly demand to return home," Hodin reported with a disingenuous smile.

"Do I need to instruct you on handling such a trivial matter?" Quibi retorted.

"I am merely concerned that if we employ excessive force, and when Commander Misa and the others return..."

"Hmph, they must first demonstrate the capability to return. And should they succeed, they might find themselves prisoners themselves," Quibi stated coldly.

"Your wisdom is unparalleled, my lord!" Hodin flattered him effusively.

Quibi, basking in self-satisfaction, raised his wine glass—only for a piercing alarm to suddenly shatter the quiet.

Quibi jolted in shock, spilling the red wine from his hand, and then bellowed in incandescent rage,

"What in the blazes is occurring?!"

The operator, trembling with fear, reported,

"My lord, we have detected the Holy Shadow Fortress—the Old King's Army is advancing with great urgency!"

"Display it on the main screen, immediately!" Quibi commanded, shoving the woman beside him unceremoniously to the floor, a hint of panic creeping into his voice.

The operator scrambled to comply, and the optical device projected the image onto the screen.

They witnessed the Holy Shadow Fortress spearheading a formidable fleet, accompanied by the Mechanical Army, hurtling towards them and unleashing a brutal assault upon the defending vessels and forces.

"Quickly! Request reinforcements from Ikafata!" Quibi issued a frantic order.

"My lord, communications are being jammed!" the operator exclaimed in alarm.

"Damn it! Dispatch someone for assistance, now!" Hearing this, Quibi slammed his wine glass to the floor, roaring in fury.

"Yes, sir!" Everyone present, intimidated by Quibi's wrath, responded with palpable fear.

Hodin then cautiously inquired,

"My lord, what course of action shall we take?"

"Hodin, you will take a contingent and maintain strict surveillance over the families of Misa, Deshier, and the others. I shall personally deal with these scoundrels!" Quibi's demeanor shifted as he addressed Hodin.

"Understood!" Hodin immediately acknowledged with deference.

.....Amidst the vast expanse of the starry sky.The Main Cannon of the Holy Shadow Fortress unleashed a blinding torrent of light as countless launch ports erupted with a deafening roar!

Whoosh!

A blinding beam accompanied by a storm of missiles relentlessly struck the Level 5 Battleship·White Shell, which was attempting to defend.

Boom~

The White Shell's protective barrier was annihilated instantaneously, and its hull sustained damage of various severities.

"Slaughter them!"

Coronan, at the controls of the V Generation Mecha·Light Breaker, spearheaded the charge alongside his followers.

Soldiers of the Apocalypse Divine Country Defense Team, gripped by panic and unease, piloted their Mechas to engage the enemy.

The instant the opposing forces collided, the Defensive Mechas were sliced down in rapid succession.

"Ah!"

On the public communication channel, cries of terror echoed without pause.

A significant portion of the elite forces had already been redeployed by the Fanluo God Emperor; the remaining garrison troops consisted predominantly of individuals who had secured their positions through connections, rendering them vastly inferior in combat strength to the Old King’s Army.

It was not long before the outer defensive perimeter collapsed. Coronan, piloting the Light-breaking Messenger, guided his subordinates into the planet, breaching the atmosphere and materializing in the skies above the Sin Domain Base.

At that precise moment, the ground surrounding the periphery of the Sin Domain Base fractured, and a multitude of defensive armaments were simultaneously deployed.
