Ka!
A shower of sparks erupted in every direction. Sigurd's fierce assault was expertly blocked.
"Is that the extent of your power? Truly unimpressive!" Fadale bellowed, unleashing another colossal pincer in an attempt to crush White Night.
"Fool! Light Speed Kill!" Sigurd executed a sudden Light Speed Fold Flash, vanishing from his spot and reappearing behind Fadale, his blade descending with lethal force upon the enemy's body.
Caught off guard and unable to evade, Fadale was forced to activate its Klein Positioning Cloak. Ka!
The impact was severe, sending violent tremors through the Klein Positioning Cloak. Fadale instantly sensed a grave peril; the VI Generation Standard Mecha piloted by Sigurd was not merely competent – it had become a completely different, unpredictable threat that could potentially turn the tide. In a swift, serpentine motion, it twisted its body, sweeping its massive pincers in a wide arc.
Sigurd, piloting White Night, artfully retreated and evaded the devastating attack. He then activated the concealed Beam Cannon on its left arm, concentrating energy before unleashing a concentrated beam of destruction.
Boom~ Fadale took the full brunt of the beam attack.
"Damn it all!" Fadale roared. Its crimson mechanical eye flared to life, the Klein Reaction spiking dramatically as metallic spikes erupted from its entire chassis!
Swish swish! The sky became a deadly hail of metal spikes, raining down upon Sigurd's position.
Sigurd responded with a cold snort, maneuvering White Night into a high-speed dodge, effortlessly evading the barrage. Despite White Night being a standard VI Generation Mecha, lacking the Primordial Stone to unlock Characteristic Mode, it still surpassed the Dark Dragon God – even without its Characteristic Mode – by several margins, a testament to the Federation's advanced manufacturing capabilities.
...
Within the main command room of Blackthorn Fortress, Admiral Taite and the other officers watched with bated breath as General Sigurd relentlessly pressed his assault against Fadale, their excitement palpable.
"Push forward, Sigurd! Annihilate that fiend!"
...
However, Commander Alekde, seated in the command chair, wore an expression of profound gravity. Gabres, noticing the commander's somber demeanor, inquired,
"Isn't Sigurd clearly gaining the upper hand? Why the long face, Commander?"
"Fadale is a manageable foe; the true challenge lies with Deputy Clan Leader Elorazad. Do you possess the confidence to defeat it?" Alekde asked Gabres, his voice low and serious.
"Honestly? Not entirely. If Su Ming were present, victory would be within reach. It's a pity we don't know where that young man has gone; he's vanished at such a critical juncture," Gabres admitted, momentarily at a loss for words, before finally responding.
"We shall maintain a conservative defensive posture," Alekde declared, his tone firm.
"Understood," Gabres replied, a hint of dejection in his voice.

-------------------------------------------
The vast expanse of the pitch-black starry sky.
A subtle, almost imperceptible ripple disturbed the void, and the Thunder Extreme silently emerged from subspace.
Inside the Thunder Extreme's Central Control Room.
Timi delivered a report to Su Ming.
"Lord Su Ming, we have successfully exited superluminal travel."
"Mm, maintain standard navigation and remain vigilant," Su Ming instructed casually. He raised his wrist, accessing the Star Cluster Forum to review the latest battlefield updates.
The entire forum was in an uproar, a frenzy of activity. Citizens from the Federation, Dark Star, and the Three Kingdoms of Apocalypse had ignited a secondary conflict on the forum, each side proudly displaying their honor rolls and revealing details of their combat achievements to bolster their own morale and demoralize their adversaries.
Su Ming scrolled through the posts briefly before opening the Federation's official honor list, which showcased the names of various participating Federation generals alongside real-time updates of their accomplishments. Currently, General Sigurd held the top spot, having vanquished the VI-type Lord Level entity, Fadale, and eliminated the V-type Heroic Level being, Kaku, the Black Fly Beast.
Continuing down the list, Su Ming recognized many familiar names: General Angulat, General Helagar, Admiral Hayes, Admiral Xinlad, and then, he spotted Mia's name. He meticulously examined her combat record; she had single-handedly defeated a V-type Lord Level Chilami and seven IV-type Chilami, reaping a substantial harvest.
A faint smile touched Su Ming's lips. He then navigated to the comment section, where an avalanche of messages flooded the screen.
"General Sigurd is truly magnificent! A pity he couldn't quite capture Fadale."
"VI-type enemies are never easy to bring down!"
"Who do you all think will claim the top rank on the honor list and be crowned the Federation's strongest hero?"
"It's hard to say; many generals haven't revealed their full capabilities yet."
"Indeed, I haven't seen General Su Ming's name listed. Has he not joined the fray?"
"It's quite normal not to see his name yet. True experts often reserve their greatest efforts for the climax. We just don't know where he will make his appearance in the defense."
"I suspect there's a high probability he'll be positioned at the Cui Lan Star Defense Line, given that the central route is facing the Mechanical Clan!"
"The Nether Moon Star Defense Line is also a strong contender, especially since it's confronting the Chilami Clan and the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country."
"Let's refrain from mere speculation; someone has posted the most recent combat footage from Black Flame Star. Master Mo Xiu is currently facing off against Sakari, the Captain of the Royal Knight Order."
"Is that so!"
...
Without further hesitation, Su Ming closed the honor post and began searching for any discussions regarding Mo Xiu's battle.
He soon located the relevant thread, its title unmistakably drawing attention.
"Captain Sakari versus Mo Xiu!"
Su Ming immediately clicked to watch the video within the post.
The footage revealed Captain Sakari, piloting a 6th Generation Mecha known as the Death Blade, transforming into a streak of black light. He forcefully broke through a barrage of incoming attacks, charging directly at the Black Flame Star's defensive perimeter.
Soldiers from Sky Dome City attempted to intercept him, piloting their mechas, but they were torn apart as easily as paper.
Subsequently, a Level 4 Battleship positioned itself directly in Sakari's path, unleashing a furious torrent of missiles and energy beams in a desperate attempt to halt his advance.
The Death Blade executed a sharp acceleration, impaling the Level 4 Battleship and causing the massive vessel to split cleanly in two.
