The Heavenly Revelation Divine Country's army launched a massive assault, breaching the defense line and engaging in fierce mecha combat. Despite heavy casualties on both sides, the invaders' formidable strength became apparent. As the battle raged, Commander Fulaya deployed the superweapon World-purifying Flower, unleashing a devastating beam that crippled the enemy Star Destroyer·Sky Trace. Faced with this catastrophic loss, Commander Misar acknowledged her defeat and requested withdrawal, preparing to contact the Lord Fanluo God Emperor.

“Misya, well done. Order your troops to withdraw.”

Fanluo God Emperor’s gaze shifted slightly as he spoke with evident satisfaction. Although Misya had sustained injuries, their combat performance was undeniably valiant and praiseworthy. This could be considered a commendable act of fealty. Consequently, Fanluo God Emperor chose not to press the matter further, permitting Misya’s forces to retreat and recover.

Furthermore, it is strategically unsound to assault a defense line all at once, as such a move risks complete annihilation. The most effective approach involves identifying a vulnerable point and exploiting it incrementally.

“Thank you, Lord God Emperor,” Misya replied with gratitude.

Fanluo God Emperor gestured, severing the communication link. At this juncture, Archbishop Bulotto inquired respectfully, “Lord God Emperor, Misya’s forces are pulling back; who will engage in the second wave?”

“Chilami, naturally,” Fanluo God Emperor responded with a smile.

“A wise decision, Lord God Emperor!” Archbishop Bulotto stated reverently.

In the vastness of space, Misya’s contingent began their withdrawal. Qianluo and the others let out a collective sigh of relief upon witnessing this. However, their scanners suddenly emitted piercing alarms, and the displays became overwhelmed with a dense mass of red indicators.

“Warning: Large-scale Chilami detected!”

Qianluo and the others looked up towards the distant expanse of the cosmos. They beheld the Chilami, an overwhelming force that obscured the heavens, surging forth like an unstoppable tsunami.

“Prepare for engagement!” Qianluo commanded, his voice laced with dread.

Within the command center of the Nether Moon Star Defense Line, Long Chen and his companions observed the onslaught of the Chilami, their countenances shifting dramatically.

“Soraya, hold the line with your forces!”

“Understood!” Soraya immediately relayed the order.

Vice Patriarch Edrigge promptly acknowledged the directive. Concurrently, Mia and her comrades, having received their instructions, piloted their mechs forward. The weaponry of the Nether Moon Star Defense Line was fully activated. In an instant, torrents of energy beams and long-range missiles erupted like a surging tide, aimed squarely at the Chilami formations.

RUMBLE!

Countless explosive bursts illuminated the void, engulfing innumerable Chilami in devastating detonations. Yet, in the very next moment, the relentless swarm of Chilami pierced through the fiery maelstrom, continuing their relentless advance toward the defense line.

Within a realm of absolute darkness, Su Ming allowed his body to relax, adrift like a piece of flotsam in the unfathomable abyss. Suddenly, he felt a sensation like something gently touching his face. Groggily, Su Ming opened his eyes, immediately confronted by An Ruoxue’s captivating visage, her smile drawing him in from an intimate distance.

A jolt coursed through Su Ming, causing him to recoil and tumble from the bed onto the floor. “Why such a startle? One would think you saw a specter,” An Ruoxue remarked, a hint of exasperation in her voice at Su Ming’s reaction.

Su Ming, rising from the ground, asked with a touch of bewilderment, “Ruoxue, why were you on my bed?”

“Naturally, out of concern for you. I came specifically to look after you.”

“Concerned? I was merely sleeping.”

“You’ve been asleep for three full days and nights,” An Ruoxue pointed out with a smile.

“I slept that long?” Su Ming expressed surprise upon hearing An Ruoxue’s words, realizing the extent of his slumber. It appeared the intensity of the recent battles had left him mentally and physically drained.

“Indeed, it was becoming worrying. I was particularly concerned and came to care for you, yet you still seem displeased,” An Ruoxue conveyed, her expression tinged with hurt.

“Not at all, but was it truly necessary to lick my face?” Su Ming countered helplessly.

“I didn’t do that!”

“I distinctly felt it.”

“That must have been Little Grey. Seeing you asleep for so long, it became quite worried about you and started licking your face,” An Ruoxue chuckled, gesturing towards Little Grey, who was nestled beside them.

Su Ming turned his head. Little Grey chirped joyfully at him. “Squeak squeak!”

“Ah, I see then,” Su Ming responded, his lips twitching slightly at the sight.

An Ruoxue immediately leaned closer, inquiring with a smile, “Su Ming, what’s with that expression? Are you disappointed?”

“Ahem, don’t speak nonsense! How is everything progressing? Is everyone unharmed?” Su Ming coughed, deftly changing the subject.

“All is well. Vice Archbishop Du Saka has been captured by us, and those Holy Temple Knights were either eliminated or taken prisoner by you. Consequently, the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country forces within the Ancania Planetary Sea are now leaderless, posing no immediate threat,” An Ruoxue explained with a smile.

“That is good,” Su Ming exhaled a small sigh of relief.

“However, there is some unwelcome news I must share with you,” An Ruoxue suddenly added.

“What unwelcome news?” Su Ming’s eyelid twitched as he inquired.

“The Federation has initiated a war.”

An Ruoxue delivered the news to Su Ming.

“What did you say? Please repeat that.” Hearing An Ruoxue’s words, Su Ming was stunned and immediately sought confirmation.

“Yesterday at noon, Apocalypse, Dark Star, and the Alien Race simultaneously launched attacks against the Federation.”

“And what is the current situation?”

“The situation doesn’t look very promising. I’m not privy to the specifics, as all the details are gleaned from online forums, and their veracity requires confirmation,” An Ruoxue informed Su Ming.
