Chapter 1745: Irene Liss_4

...

Production Base · Central Control Room.

Frenzied alarm sirens wailed without cease.

Witnessing Fei Alu and his companions being defeated, Du Saka’s forehead quivered with prominent veins, his complexion darkening considerably.

At this critical juncture, a subordinate standing nearby expressed his alarm, speaking with a hint of panic.

“Lord Du Saka, you must flee quickly! The remnants of the Old King’s Army have breached our defenses!”

“Insolent fools!”

Du Saka felt immense displeasure, yet he raised his hand, striking the emergency escape button affixed to the armrest.

Ka!

The entire command chair rapidly descended.

Du Saka soon found himself in a concealed hangar, where a V Generation Mecha, the Illusion Light (a lower-tier model), stood forty-five meters tall. Its build was compact, its entire exterior clad in white Camouflage Armor, and three pairs of Mechanical Light Wings were artfully integrated into its back.

This particular Illusion Light Mecha was not renowned for its formidable combat prowess, but it boasted a superior stealth system and an alarmingly high flight speed, making it exceptionally suited for a hasty escape.

“Lord Du Saka.”

An elderly Mechanic greeted Du Saka with profound respect.

“Initiate the secret escape route,”

Du Saka instructed the old man with a frigid tone.

“Understood.”

The old man nodded in agreement. Du Saka then ascended, entering the cockpit of the Illusion Light Mecha.

As he settled into the command seat and initiated the Mecha’s startup sequence—

A stark red warning window materialized abruptly.

“Warning: Circuit misaligned!”

“Warning: Startup sequence failed!”

Gazing at the persistent warnings, Du Saka erupted in a furious roar.

“Morion, explain this! What is happening?”

“My Lord, spare yourself the futility; I have intentionally reversed the circuit wiring,”

Morion responded with unnerving calmness.

Upon hearing this, Du Saka was instantly consumed by fury. He unsealed the cockpit, descended, activated his Symbiotic Armor to envelop his entire being, advanced upon Morion, seized him by the collar, and bellowed:

“You dare to betray me? Rectify this immediately, or I shall end your life.”

“My Lord, you may kill me as you see fit. I never intended to survive this. My three children perished on the battlefield, my wife succumbed to despair, and my siblings were lost during your grand purge. I am the sole survivor now,”

Morion stated with cold indifference.

Just then, the hangar doors swung open.

Coronan and his contingent piloted their Mecha, charging in and swiftly encircling their position.

Du Saka abruptly snapped Morion’s neck, casting the body aside with a disdainful gesture, and sneered, a chilling smirk playing on his lips:

“I never fathomed I would fall prey to mere refuse like yourselves.”

“Even with death looming, your arrogance persists,”

Coronan remarked icily.

“If you intend to kill me, then proceed,”

Du Saka displayed not a shred of apprehension.

“Seeking death? It is not so easily granted. Order your subordinates to lay down their arms!”

Coronan refrained from firing. Du Saka, as the Vice Sect Hierarch, was a captive of immense strategic value.

“Dream on!”

Du Saka remained utterly uncooperative.

An Ruoxue then addressed her father.

“Father, why waste further words on him? Simply drag him to Central Control and announce to every soldier of the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country that Du Saka has been apprehended. Their morale will shatter spontaneously.”

“You—!”

Hearing An Ruoxue’s suggestion, Du Saka’s rage intensified further!

“Excellent! Take him into custody!”

Coronan, immensely pleased, readily agreed.

Amidst the expanse of the starry sky.

The encircling forces of the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country unleashed a ferocious onslaught against the troops of the Divine Word Legion.

A dense storm of missiles and energy beams rained down incessantly.

Rumble rumble!

Mecha belonging to the Divine Word Legion were obliterated one after another.

“Brothers, fight on until the very end!”

Not a single soldier from the Divine Word Legion faltered or retreated; each one roared and charged valiantly forward.

Yet, despite their fierce resistance, the disparity in strength between the two factions remained substantial.

The encircled units of the Divine Word Legion found themselves progressively pushed back, their formations tightening under the relentless pressure.

At this precise moment, a terrifying beam of light pierced the fray, accompanied by a sky-obscuring volley of missiles.

Boom!

A Level 5 Battleship was instantaneously sunk, and vast numbers of Mecha were consumed by the explosive missile swarm.

The soldiers of the Divine Word Legion paused momentarily, their gazes shifting in unison towards the new arrivals. They beheld the Star Destroyer, Thunder Extreme, surging forward to provide critical support. Simultaneously, the Fake V Generation Mecha, Thunder God, the Fake V Generation Mecha, Phantom Guardian, along with Thunder Guard, Shadow Slayer, and other advanced Mecha, charged into the engagement.

A wave of stunned silence swept over the soldiers of the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country.

“How can a Federation Star Destroyer be present here?”

“It’s inexplicable!”

“Why are you all gawking? It's merely a minor Federation contingent—eliminate them!”

A commanding officer of the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country bellowed, his voice laced with shocked fury.

The soldiers under his command, setting their teeth, had no choice but to press the attack, and the two forces soon became locked in a ferocious, chaotic mêlée.

Then, cutting through the main communications channel of the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country, Coronan’s chillingly cold voice suddenly echoed:

“All soldiers of the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country, heed my words. Du Saka has been successfully captured. Surrender now, and it is not too late. Do not continue to compound your failures!”

Simultaneously, Coronan relayed the visual evidence of Du Saka’s capture to every soldier under the banner of the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country.

In a flash, the fighting spirit of the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country’s army disintegrated amidst a brutal slaughter, their cries echoing with dread.

“It’s all over; our Commander Du Saka has been apprehended.”

“What course of action should we take now?”

“Sound the retreat!”

At that critical juncture, a single soldier spun their Mecha around and initiated a rapid escape.

“Yes, let’s flee!”

Witnessing their comrades' flight, the remaining soldiers promptly followed suit.

Within moments, the Heavenly Revelation Divine Country’s forces crumbled like a line of falling dominoes, all of them breaking into a desperate flight.

A small contingent of unwavering loyalists, however, resolutely refused to yield and continued their tenacious struggle.

A short while later, on the planet Semikani.

Coronan and his squadron guided their Mecha back towards the main plaza, prepared to lend support to Su Ming.

What met their eyes was a scene of utter devastation; the entire central plaza lay flattened, with debris from destroyed Mecha strewn about.

Su Ming, at the controls of Ilyas, stood firm amidst the wreckage.

Coronan stood utterly aghast. They were aware of Su Ming’s formidable abilities, and they knew Fei Alu and his companions stood no chance. Yet, the complete annihilation of every single adversary had far surpassed their expectations.
