Fager ruthlessly destroyed Gufu's Radiant Messenger and Deputy Hayak's Deep Blue Hunter before overwhelming Otaine and slamming Jikol aside. As Fager advanced on the beleaguered Holy Army remnants, the VI Generation Biological Mecha Ilyas descended into the arena amid alarms. Su Ming arrived to applaud the spectacle, then Ilyas effortlessly neutralized Vice City Lord Medot's ambush, allowing Su Ming to merge with it and unleash soaring power.

Fergus hastily piloted his mecha to pull back in panic, teeth chattering wildly as he yelled toward Fager.

"Fager, attack him and take him down for me!"

Upon hearing those words, Su Ming whipped his head around and cast a chilling gaze at Fergus.

Terror gripped Fergus so tightly that he soiled himself, prompting him to swiftly maneuver his mecha and flee the scene.

Right as Su Ming prepared to strike and subdue this foe.

Fager gritted his teeth with resolve, abruptly directing the Demon Hunter to lunge at Su Ming, slashing his weapon savagely at Ilyas.

Su Ming hoisted the Dragon Base Spear gripped in his hand, firmly parrying the blow while his entire mecha stood rock-solid.

"Fager, do you think you can beat me? Your skills are worse than Bailut’s. I advise you to surrender and get down from the mecha, and I might spare your life!"

Su Ming had no desire to slaughter Fager outright; his goal was to seize the Fake VI Generation Mecha·Demon Hunter intact, recognizing it as a priceless prize!

Fake VI Generation Mechas and the majority of VI Generation Mechas had only rolled out in the past few years, with even the finest relics from battlefields topping out at peak V Generation Mechas.

Therefore, Su Ming sought to convince the enemy to yield; failing that, he'd be forced to smash the cockpit no matter his caution, leading to costly repairs.

"I know I can’t beat you, but surrendering is impossible! I’d rather fight once than to live a cowering life forever. A person can be temporarily unsuccessful, temporarily living under someone else’s roof, but they cannot lose their fighting spirit and always keep their head down."

Fager declared in a grave tone.

"Alright, since that’s the case, I’ll grant your wish!"

Those words stirred a flicker of respect in Su Ming for Fager.

This fellow possessed real talent, worthy of hero status—except he had the misfortune of crossing paths with me.

"Let me see your might, Federation General."

Fager triggered Overclocking Mode without hesitation, the Demon Hunter’s power core roaring deafeningly as its glowing patterns flared, propelling it toward Su Ming like a demon roused from slumber.

Su Ming’s face grew serious, commanding Ilyas to unleash its full might, scooping up his weapon from the ground to meet Fager head-on.

Their clash unleashed a massive shockwave that rippled outward fiercely.

Novlin and his comrades hurriedly pulled back.

Once the shockwave faded, Ilyas stood firm against Fager’s assault, halting the Demon Hunter’s advance and highlighting the vast gap in their mecha’s capabilities.

Realizing all his struggles couldn’t budge the foe, Fager’s eyes reddened with fury, swinging his other weapon wildly at Su Ming once more.

Su Ming countered instantly, masterfully deflecting Fager’s flurry of strikes with the Dragon Base Spear, then retaliating with a barrage of rapid, ferocious thrusts like a raging tempest.

Fager descended into utter disarray, blinded to Su Ming’s moves, managing only desperate blocks amid constant retreats, getting driven back swiftly.

Jikol and the rest, observing the fight, shook their heads in dismay, seeing the vast chasm in skill levels—Su Ming dominated Fager like a father schooling a child.

Cold light gleamed in Su Ming’s eyes as he expertly flicked the Dragon Base Spear to disarm Fager’s left-hand weapon, then stabbed forward.

Fager’s expression twisted in horror, activating his energy barrier on the spot.

Yet the Dragon Base Spear shattered through the barrier, hurtling straight for the Demon Hunter’s cockpit.

Icy dread seized Fager as death loomed over him. In that desperate instant, his hidden potential surged, letting him evade with Extreme Light Speed Flash.

Su Ming’s thrust fell short, a flash of astonishment crossing his features at the opponent’s narrow escape!

Moments later, Fager rematerialized with the Demon Hunter at a safe range, his face twisted in savage glee as he unleashed the missile compartment, launching a tactical nuclear bomb.

"Not good!"

The sight stunned everyone, who never imagined Fager’s brutality in deploying a tactical nuclear bomb right there.

Su Ming’s gaze turned razor-sharp, lifting his left arm to summon an AT Barrier in a flash.

Boom!

A dazzling sun erupted without warning,

carving a massive crater into the arena floor.

Fager piloted the Demon Hunter, staring excitedly at Su Ming swallowed by the blast.

"Divine Illusion Strike!"

Ilyas exploded from the inferno like a lightning bolt, hurtling toward Fager and brandishing the Dragon Base Spear in a phantom-like blur.

This strike held nothing back from Su Ming. Fager’s rampage threatened more casualties if unchecked.

Before Fager could raise his weapon in defense.

Crack!

The Dragon Base Spear thrust straight into the Demon Hunter’s cockpit.

The spear tip utterly demolished Fager, sending blood spraying everywhere!

Su Ming then suddenly pulled back his power, halting the spearhead just shy of fully breaching the Demon Hunter’s cockpit, thus keeping it as intact as possible.

"Is Lord Fager dead?"

Fager’s subordinates nearby uttered in horror.

Right then, Green Wing Mechas one by one, joined by Thunder Guard, Thunder God, and various other Advanced Mechas, dropped down from above.

"General, we have arrived!"

...

"So many Advanced Mechas?"

The onlookers gasped in dread as they watched the mechas descend.

Otaine and his group stood dumbfounded too. Though they appeared to possess numerous Advanced Mechas, these were assembled from assorted factions, with plenty being outdated second-hand models.

In contrast, the Federation’s lineup consisted solely of cutting-edge Advanced Mechas.

"Do you want to surrender, or shall I send you along?"

Su Ming, piloting Ilyas, gazed at the surviving foes present.

"I surrender, don’t kill me!"

Monrao from Black Death Society felt a shock in his heart and surrendered right away.

Instantly, every rebel fighter halted their fight and cried out.

"We surrender."

...

Novlin and his team rushed ahead to restrain all those giving up, ordering them to exit their mechas.

Meanwhile, Otaine and Jikol guided their battered mechas over to Su Ming and addressed him.

"General Su Ming, thank you so much for your help."

"No need to be so polite, the two of you."

Su Ming replied smilingly.

"We don’t even know how to thank you enough."

Otaine expressed with utmost courtesy.

"Don’t mention it. Hurry and suppress those rebels, I’ll let my subordinates assist you. Oh, and don’t let Fergus escape." Su Ming instructed the pair.

"Alright!"

Otaine and the rest answered swiftly, then directed their forces to secure the area and seize Fergus.

Just then, Onite, at the controls of a Fake V Generation Mecha·Thunder God, touched down alongside Iron Guards, exclaiming with thrill upon spotting the wreckage in the arena.

"Wow, we’ve struck it rich!"

"What riches are you talking about? Besides the Fake VI Generation Mecha·Demon Hunter, the rest are not needed!"

Su Ming informed Onite.

"Huh? Okay then."

Onite responded with some disappointment, yet it scarcely mattered as they had seized the prize of greatest worth.
