Su Ming visited Timmy at her new post in the Ninth Legion, surrounded by excited female soldiers. He invited her to rejoin his crew, and despite General Alula's complaints, Timmy accepted and left with him amid chaos as others volunteered to join. They arrived at the docked Thunder Extreme starship, where the crew joyfully reunited with Timmy. Su Ming announced her official return to applause as supplies arrived and preparations concluded.

A cough came from Su Ming as he addressed Li Menghan and the rest.

Clap~Clap~

Li Menghan and her companions erupted in fervent applause.

"Thank you!"

Timi inclined his head toward the group, offering his thanks.

"Alright, let's set off!"

Su Ming strode to the command chair, took a seat, and declared.

"Yes!"

Timi replied without delay.

Before long, the Star Destroyer·Thunder Extreme engaged its anti-gravity system, lifting the enormous vessel gradually before it soared into the far-off heavens.

...

One hour passed.

A sudden ripple disturbed the starry void of the World Eye as the Star Destroyer·Thunder Extreme burst forth from subspace.

Within the Thunder Extreme's central control room.

Timi delivered his report to Su Ming.

"Master Su Ming, we have arrived at the World Eye and are nearing Dark Moon Port."

Right then, the optical imaging system displayed the view of Dark Moon Port.

Dark Moon Port had experienced monumental transformations. It used to be a simple square open-air spaceport. Towering mechanical barriers now surrounded it, topped with camouflage shields that hid everything inside from view. Squads of Green Wing Mechas patrolled the perimeter, blocking all ships and people from getting close.

The sight left Su Ming stunned too. How much time had passed? Dark Moon Port was utterly revamped, showcasing incredible efficiency.

"Warning: Received a no-approach message."

...

Alerts kept flashing across the operations display.

Yet Timi kept the Thunder Extreme moving forward.

Moments later, a comms request appeared.

"Connect it!"

Timi ordered at once.

Hamiu's hologram flickered on screen. He started to issue a warning to keep the Thunder Extreme away, but spotting Su Ming in the command chair, he exclaimed with delight.

"Boss, it's you guys!"

"Who else would it be if not us? Guide us to dock."

With a grin, Su Ming told Hamiu.

"Okay!"

Hamiu answered promptly.

Guided by virtual markers, the Star Destroyer·Thunder Extreme slipped past the camouflage shield into Dark Moon Port, settling down at the assigned berth.

Clack!

The hatch slid open.

Su Ming and his crew descended the ramp, confronted by a jaw-dropping spectacle.

Countless mechanical crawlers zipped through Dark Moon Port, hauling loads of supplies and equipment.

Throngs of mechanical engineers hustled about in intense activity.

Sizzle~

Welding sparks flew in all directions.

Deep inside Dark Moon Port, huge smelting plants and assembly lines for mechanical engineers had risen up, spitting out a steady flow of new engineers.

Soldiers in Mechas stood guard at every spot around Dark Moon Port, while hidden surveillance gear and defensive armaments dotted the area.

Dark Moon Port resembled a vast mechanical empire.

For a second, Su Ming stood dazed. The Mechanical Clan's building prowess was nothing short of phenomenal, utterly awe-inspiring.

"My God, am I dreaming?"

"Is this really the port we docked at?"

.....

Ankaga and the others uttered in disbelief.

Su Ming noticed Celeste hovering nearby, overseeing the workers and mechanical engineers, so he approached and called out.

"Celeste!"

"What do you want? Can't you see I'm busy? There's so much to repair; I'm going crazy!"

Somewhat frazzled, Celeste grumbled at Su Ming.

"Well, how did you turn this place into this? One might think we're up to something suspicious!"

Scratching his head, Su Ming replied.

"Oh, this spaceport is so large, and we dock so many ships. Of course, we have to use it efficiently."

"Alright, how are things going now?"

"Not great, there's so much to fix, and I've decided to remodel the Grey Angel!"

Celeste told Su Ming with excitement.

"How are you planning to remodel it?"

Surprised, Su Ming questioned Celeste.

"I've decided to repair the two Star Core Heart remnants salvaged and install them on the Grey Angel. This way, it'll have three Star Core Heart power sources, and if you add me, that's four power sources; just thinking about it is thrilling!"

Thrilled, Celeste declared.

"Don't mess around, is that okay?"

Lips twitching faintly, Su Ming inquired.

"Why not? Who would complain about having too much power?"

Celeste asserted boldly to Su Ming.

"This kind of remodeling must be expensive, right?"

A bit worried, Su Ming asked.

"Of course, remodeling always costs money. Plus, repairing these Mecha remnants requires a lot of materials and funds, I've already listed everything, and I'm sending it to you now!"

Celeste sent the data straight to Su Ming's wristband.

He lifted his wristband, tapped it, and a hologram sprang up, showing a packed inventory of items right before him.

"SCW-05 Model·Heart of the Sun*3"

"XDW-05 Model·Crystal God's Light*2"

...

"Level 5 High Concentration Nuclear Fuel Rod*24 sets!"

"Level 5 Advanced Purple Energy Crystal*24 sets"

...

"This much? And why are they all energy crystals, nuclear fuel rods, power plant things?"

His expression shifted as Su Ming questioned.

"Oh, what's there to be surprised about? The most easily damaged part of a Mecha is the power plant. The internal energy crystals and fuel of the Mechas were collected and used by Elorazad Deputy Clan Leader, creating a large shortfall! And this count is after I've deducted the numbers that can be repaired as much as possible."

Celeste clarified for Su Ming.

"Alright, I suppose you have a point, but explain to me, what's this about the final cost? 50 trillion Federation Coins? Do you think I'm an endless money source?"
