“Naturally, it concerns you. Provided we have secured all requisite repair materials, if you can supply me with a sufficient quantity of Energy Crystals, I will only need three months to restore this vessel,” Celeste stated to Su Ming.
“Are Energy Crystals not easily obtained? What quantity do you require?” Su Ming inquired.
“It is a modest amount—merely 300 of those Level 6 Energy Crystals we discussed previously,” Celeste replied, wearing a sly grin.
Upon hearing her request, Su Ming’s complexion turned as dark as coal.
“Three hundred pieces? You could sell me off entirely and still not find that many. Even the Shenji Family, who dominate the energy trade, would likely struggle to produce such a stockpile.”
“They need not all be Level 6; you could simply obtain lower-tier crystals to supplement the total,” Celeste looked at him with an expression of hope.
“That is still impossible,” Su Ming replied, shaking his head firmly.
“In that case, we can only proceed with the repairs at a slower pace. However, even sluggish repairs demand substantial energy levels. I recall that the Federation constructed a ‘Heart of Sky’ base. Why not petition the Federation to borrow theirs?” Celeste gazed at Su Ming with mounting anticipation.
“Do you truly believe that is a viable option? The Federation barely manages to sustain its own operations,” Su Ming replied, his mouth twitching slightly.
“Does Saint Joex not possess a ‘Heart of Sky’ base?”
“The one belonging to Saint Qiao has undoubtedly been cannibalized by the Dark Star Empire to mend their own facilities.”
“True. Perhaps approach the Shabask Kingdom; they possess a ‘Heart of Sky’ base as well, and it is a state-of-the-art installation,” Celeste suggested with excitement.
“My thanks. You truly possess high regard for my diplomatic reach if you believe I can simply request a loan of that magnitude.”
“They have limited use for such vast energy reserves anyway. Besides, are you not on favorable terms with Shadler?”
“I shall consider it,” Su Ming grumbled, feeling the onset of a headache.
“Very well,” Celeste replied with a submissive sigh.
At this moment, both reached the sealed egress of the central control chamber.
Crack!
Intricate sigils across the metallic gateway flared with illumination before dividing to allow passage.
Su Ming and Celeste stepped inside.
The control hub was remarkably expansive and square in orientation, featuring a colossal circular command console at its center. Flanking it were two secondary control stations, with the commander’s throne positioned prominently in the middle.
This arrangement was an identical reflection of the central hub within the new Grey Angel crafted by Long Chen, though the environment here appeared far more weathered and cluttered.
Celeste guided Su Ming toward the command throne and gestured with a smile.
“Won’t you take a seat and experience your future Star Destroyer?”
“I shall!”
Persuaded by Celeste, Su Ming felt a spark of curiosity and occupied the throne.
Swish!
Immediately, arcs of golden light flickered to life across the console and the bulkheads of the Grey Angel. A holographic control interface materialized from the air before Su Ming.
“Celeste, retrieve the diagnostic data for the Grey Angel. I must inspect it.”
“As you wish!” Celeste replied happily.

Su Ming scanned the readouts, his breathing quickening.
“Are these vessel specifications accurate?”
“Astonished, are you? Let me inform you: this Grey Angel has eclipsed the traditional boundaries of Legendary Star Destroyers. In its final form, the hull blooms akin to a budding flower. Its output surpasses even the ‘World-purifying Flower’ of the Rain Capital. You are aware of the sheer energy capacity that vessel commands. A single strike from this, and even a Heroic Level VI entity would not dare to oppose it directly. Should they survive, they would certainly be left crippled.”
“Remarkable!”
“And there is more; its velocity is truly terrifying. I have never witnessed a swifter ship across the entire cosmos.”
“Indeed, I perceive this vessel as vastly superior to the one piloted by Long Chen,” Su Ming observed.
“Well, while Long Chen’s ship adhered to the blueprints, it suffered from inferior craftsmanship and materials. The original Grey Angel was curated by my mechanical mentor personally. Its performance far outclasses the contemporary imitation, and through fusion and evolution, it remains in a league of its own,” Celeste elucidated.
“Understood.” Su Ming offered a curt nod.
“Are you not thrilled? Upon your return, be sure to procure that energy so I may commence restorative efforts posthaste,” Celeste grinned.
Su Ming massaged his temples and muttered, “I suspected you brought me here with hidden intentions.”
“Do not be so cynical!”
“Fine, I will investigate potential solutions.”
“Wonderful!” Celeste cheered.
Three days later, at dawn.
Mechanical technicians finished the final procedures, tethering the Grey Angel to the Sunshine. Su Ming sat upon the external platform of the Sunshine, his gaze fixed upon the infinite expanse of the stars, appearing somewhat melancholic.
