The Light Extinction finds itself repeatedly taunted by a mysterious VI-type monster that refuses to attack. Suspecting the creature is leading them somewhere, Su Ming decides to follow it through the dense mist. The pursuit leads the ship directly into a hidden hollow, revealing the long-lost site of the historic Red Light Battle. Surrounded by wreckage and ancient Federation debris, the crew realizes they have stumbled upon the graveyard of the original Grey Angel.

Capítulo 1652: Chapter 532: Ruins

Su Ming found it truly difficult to fathom that destiny had brought him to the very site of the Red Light Battle; the reality of being here felt completely surreal.

“Boss, does this revelation imply that the sunken Grey Angel might be discovered in this place?”

Ankaga and his companions gazed toward Su Ming, their faces filled with palpable excitement.

“It is a possibility.”

Su Ming responded with a tranquil demeanor.

“How should we proceed? Shall we commence the hunt for the Grey Angel immediately?”

Rhein and the others questioned him, bubbling with agitation.

Su Ming paused for a moment to consider the situation before speaking.

“Meng Han, bring the Doomed Light to a halt.”

“Understood!”

Li Menghan executed the order without delay.

“I am assigning roles now. Rhein, lead your squad to begin the search for the Grey Angel.”

Su Ming directed this order to Rhein.

“Affirmative!”

Rhein acknowledged the command instantly.

“Ankaga, take your team and scout the area to see if General Amte or his party managed to reach here.”

Although Su Ming harbored few illusions regarding the likelihood of this, he decided to search regardless, just in case fate bestowed a miracle upon them.

“Yes!”

Ankaga accepted the directive promptly.

“Boss, what about me?”

At this moment, Onite could no longer contain his anticipation and blurted out the question.

Su Ming threw a glance at the overly enthused Onite and remarked.

“The task of salvaging those weapon remnants falls to you.”

“Understood! Boss, rest assured, I know exactly what to do. I’ll make certain to recover only the highest quality components!”

Onite shouted in a high state of excitement.

“Very well. I place my confidence in you. Furthermore, maintain a vigilant watch for a Fourth Generation Customized Mecha·Fierce Light Messenger throughout your sweep!”

Su Ming gave this specific instruction to Onite.

Since the Fierce Light Messenger had belonged to Lin Chuyu’s father and they were currently scouring this very battlefield, he felt compelled to honor her request.

“Understood.”

Onite was briefly startled, before confirming the order.

“Alright, proceed with caution. The area is fraught with peril, so do not stray too far; I have no desire to see any of you encounter misfortune.”

Su Ming considered the risks for a brief second before warning them.

“Understood!”

Onite and the rest of the crew replied as one voice.

“Go!”

Su Ming gestured for them to proceed.

Onite, Rhein, and their cohorts dashed toward the mobile platform.

Moments later, the airlock of the Doomed Light swung open.

Whoosh!

Rhein and his men maneuvered their mechas out of the vessel.

Shortly thereafter, the voices of the team leaders crackled through the communication channel.

“First squad, move out with me; our primary objective is to locate the Grey Angel!”

“Second squad, follow my lead; we are tasked with finding any potential survivors!”

“Operate in groups of five, forming units of twenty-five. Fan out to conduct the search, and do not abandon your teams under any circumstances. Only flag the high-value wreckages! Stay alert, and report any strange occurrences immediately.”

Onite was issuing his own directives to his subordinates.

“Copy that!”

A chorus of acknowledgments echoed through the comms.

Following this, the teams dispersed into the void to begin their search.

The entire expanse of this stellar battlefield was blanketed in a thin, ethereal white haze. Visibility was acceptable, yet often they could only discern the true identity of floating debris once they were mere meters away, rendering the entire operation akin to opening a blind box.

Excited cries erupted frequently across the public comms channel.

“This is the Migratory Bird Team, we’ve recovered the wreckage of a Fake V Generation Mecha·Phantom Guardian!”

“Reporting in, this is the Cuckoo Squad, we’ve discovered the remains of a Fourth Generation Mecha·Thunder Guard!”

“Lord Onite, we hit the jackpot! I’ve discovered the frame of a damaged V Generation Mecha·Illusion Dragon!”

“Spectacular work!”

Onite roared, a smile stretching across his face.

“Incredible, even V Generation Mechas are scattered here; we’re going to be absolutely swimming in resources!”

…..

Zhang Yi and the others were left speechless.

Outside of Su Ming, their team currently possessed only a single V Generation Mecha, and it was a low-specification model at that.

They had attempted to procure better machines previously, but finding a source was impossible, as the Federation maintained a stranglehold on all V Generation Mecha assets.

If they could haul this wreckage back to be refurbished, there was a strong chance of restoration. Even if it were beyond repair, the salvaged materials alone would be priceless!

Within the Central Control Room of the Doomed Light.

Su Ming sat upon the command throne, observing his team outside as they hauled the V Generation Mecha remnants back toward the ship, his expression showing a flicker of emotion.

“To think that even such sophisticated mechas would be left behind here?”

“It is hardly surprising, considering the sheer intensity of the Red Light Battle. The Mechanical Clan remained dormant for a significant period following that confrontation,” Celeste remarked to Su Ming.

“Do you believe it is possible that fragments of VI Generation Mechas exist in this sector?”

Su Ming paused to contemplate the possibility before asking.

“You should adjust your expectations; due to the standing mandates, there will certainly be no VI Generation hardware. However, it is entirely possible to uncover remnants of the Legendary Level Star Destroyer·Grey Angel or the Mechanical Race·Aisfaer Deputy Clan Leader’s command craft—these are in no way inferior to VI Generation units.”

Celeste’s voice grew increasingly animated as she spoke.

“Indeed, but while we are at the coordinates of the Red Light Battle, we shouldn’t be too optimistic; it’s possible they didn’t actually sink in this specific sector.”

Su Ming gazed into the deep, distant starry sky and offered a measured reply.

“That is a valid point, yet it hardly matters now. The wreckage salvaged from this battlefield alone is enough to ensure our prosperity for lifetimes. My only regret is that we didn’t bring a dedicated transport vessel for all this scrap,” Celeste lamented with a sigh.

“We aren't professional scavengers; we are merely exploring since we stumbled upon this location by chance. However, I still cannot fathom why that creature lured us here in the first place.”

Su Ming refused to get carried away by the current windfall.

“True, why would it offer such a helpful guide? Could there be some ulterior motive? And since we entered this ancient battleground, we have seen no further signs of that thing.”

Celeste mirrored his concern and perplexity.

“It is an unknown variable. We shall observe how the situation unfolds.”

Su Ming concluded in a calm, collected voice.

Several hours later.
