“Commander Aus, watch your words!”
“Geteri, rush to aid us at once, or face the repercussions. I won't hesitate to inform the Emperor if you don't!”
Aus threatened with intensity.
“There's no reason to involve the Emperor; we'll enter the fray immediately. Just endure for a bit more!”
Geteri replied with a laugh.
“Hmph!”
Aus abruptly ended the link.
“Fool!”
Geteri gazed at the disconnected channel, scoffing as he muttered.
“Sir, what's our next move?”
Rogar inquired cautiously.
“Disregard him. Are our troops ready?”
“Nearly there!”
“Urge them to hurry. Once Aus and his squad are worn down, we'll strike the decisive hit.”
A sinister grin spread across Geteri's face.
“Affirmative.”
Rogar acknowledged promptly.

Within the central command of the Doomed Light.
Su Ming occupied the captain's seat, remaining patient.
Tension gripped every face around him.
Suddenly, the scanner display brimmed with red markers along its borders.
Alert panels flashed one by one.
“Alert: Mechanical Flying Insect spotted!”
“Alert: Mechanical Octopus spotted!”
…..
With a strained look, Li Menghan updated Su Ming.
“Commander, the Mechanical Clan army is approaching.”
“Pull up the visuals!”
Su Ming demanded sharply.
Li Menghan swiftly brought up the live images. Across the distant cosmos, hordes of Mechanical Flying Insects, Mechanical Anomalies, Mechanical Bionic Beasts, and various horrors rushed forward like a relentless wave, blotting out the stars in overwhelming numbers.
“Enemy count is immeasurable!”
“Projected arrival in 23 minutes and 11 seconds!”
…
Li Menghan informed Su Ming.
With that, Su Ming addressed Rhein and the team.
“Rhein, take the experienced pilots out first; newbies remain to protect the vessel. Obey my commands!”
“Got it!”
Rhein and his crew hurried to the launch bays.
Shortly, the Doomed Light unsealed multiple launch ports, as Rhein piloted the V Generation Mecha·Grey Hunting Messenger, spearheading a fleet of mechas that burst forth, arraying into a defensive line ahead of the ship.
Meanwhile, other vessels deployed their own mech squads, organizing into different formations.
Yet, Rhein's group drew special attention, boasting an all-Third Generation Blue Wing Mechas lineup at minimum, led by the standout V Generation Mecha·Grey Hunting Messenger. Trailing it were 10 Fake V Generation Mechas such as Wild Shadow, Radiant Messenger, Thunder God, Deep Blue Hunter, plus numerous Fourth Generation Mechas.
The adjacent formations watched with jealous admiration.
“Onite, how did you acquire so many Fake V Generation Mechas?”
Su Ming questioned in astonishment.
“It's not that many. A few came from refurbished battlefield spoils, others bought outright. If Fake V Generation Mechas weren't so hard to obtain, I'd have gotten extras.” Onite answered Su Ming grinning.
Su Ming's mouth quirked at Onite's response; acquiring more would drain a massive sum.
Just then, the open comms channel buzzed with amazed outbursts.
“Wow!”
“Check out that mecha!”
…
Su Ming glanced over upon hearing the noise.
There, General Gabres commanded the VI Generation Pure Mechanical Mecha·Dark Annihilation Apostle, soaring to the forefront. The Dark Annihilation Apostle radiated an intense aura of dominance.
Right after, Sigurd guided the V Generation Pure Mechanical Mecha·Netherworld Envoy alongside a contingent of V Generation Standard Mecha·Erosion Shadow, positioning next to Gabres.
“That's a VI Generation Mecha?”
“It commands real presence.”
“No worries this round!”
“Exactly!”
….
The officers chattered with fervor.
Su Ming stared in surprise at the Dark Annihilation Apostle; wasn't that Admiral Kabunofa's machine? How had it appeared here?
At that instant, Alekde's fleet-wide directive appeared on the console.
“All vessels, charge primary guns, max out missile bays!”
“Carry it out,” Su Ming instructed Li Menghan.
“Aye!”
Li Menghan affirmed instantly.
Should this initial barrage fail to halt the Mechanical Clan's onslaught, the front would likely collapse.
