Chen Nan received a new phone from Su Qingqing and completed his school enrollment. The next morning, while heading to his classroom, he accidentally bumped into and grabbed the chest of his new class teacher, the beautiful Lan Yuqin. Despite Chen Nan's embarrassment, Lan Yuqin seemed to take it in stride, though her inner thoughts hinted at a vengeful nature.

Chen Nan found his seat, and Lan Yuqin exited the classroom.

He then surveyed the spot next to him; his deskmate had not yet arrived. His curiosity piqued, he opened her textbook and noticed three elegant characters inscribed on it—Su Qingqing.

To be deskmates with this young lady?

Chen Nan found it amusing. Truly, only such an arrangement would permit him to keep her under close guard!

Just then, Chen Nan's brow furrowed as he observed a stout boy approaching him with a sneer, "Hey, kid, you can sit here, but if you dare harbor any intentions towards Su Qingqing, I'll ensure you regret ever joining Class Nine."

Chen Nan completely disregarded him, as if he were an imbecile.

Witnessing Chen Nan's lack of attention, the stout boy's expression turned frosty, and he bellowed, "You dare ignore me? Do you have any idea who I am!?"

"I couldn't care less who you are, you lunatic, go play with yourself."

Chen Nan waved his hand dismissively, not even glancing his way.

The stout boy instantly seethed, shouting a loud curse, "Fuck!" He then lunged forward, fist raised to initiate a conflict with Chen Nan. However, at that precise moment, a girl from the fifth group's second seat stood up—

"Xiao Jiji, stop this!"

Her voice, as clear and melodious as a silver bell, reminiscent of a nightingale's gentle song, was utterly pleasant to the ear.

This girl was seated just one row away from Su Qingqing, across from Chen Nan. He turned his head and was immediately mesmerized. Possessing an oval face framed by willow-leaf eyebrows, her captivating, watery eyes seemed to convey unspoken emotions, exuding an irresistible charm. Her long, dark tresses cascaded down her back, presenting an image akin to a portrait of otherworldly beauty. At this moment, her brows were subtly knitted as she cast a stern gaze upon Xiao Jiji.

It was only then that Chen Nan recognized the presence of such an astonishingly beautiful girl within the classroom.

Xiao Jiji rubbed his fists together, cast a cold glare at Chen Nan, and declared, "Today, I'll show respect to the class president. But remember this, you little punk, Su Qingqing belongs to me. You're not even permitted to speak with her, or I'll break your legs." With that, he swaggered away, an arrogant expression plastered on his face.

Utterly ignoring Xiao Jiji, Chen Nan turned to the beautiful girl beside him and offered a smile, "Thank you, class president."

"No need for formalities," she replied with a faint smile. Her smile bloomed like peach blossoms, breathtakingly lovely, before she turned her head back to her reading.

After gazing at her for several seconds, Chen Nan finally returned to his senses. Her captivating smile evoked a sense of familiarity within him, bringing to mind the image of his junior sister without conscious thought.

Shaking his head, Chen Nan looked towards the beauty once more and noticed three characters inscribed on the cover of her workbook—Huo Xinya.

"Why does her smile remind me of little junior sister..." Chen Nan mused, feeling a twinge of frustration. Just then, he heard Su Qingqing's laughter—

"Innocent bro, what are you lost in thought about?"

Taking her seat, Su Qingqing blinked curiously at him.

Chen Nan snapped back to attention, shook his head with a smile, "Nothing of consequence. It's just astonishing to discover that in this world, someone can actually bear the name 'Little JJ.'"

Su Qingqing giggled, showing no embarrassment. Instead, she remarked, "Our class is brimming with hidden talents and formidable individuals. There are even more peculiar characters here! But how did you know about someone named Xiao Jiji?"

"He just threatened me, telling me not to converse with you."

Su Qingqing wrinkled her small nose, bunched her tiny fists, and pouted, "I've found him irritating for quite some time. Why didn't you retaliate?"

"Because of the class president..."

Chen Nan hadn't even finished his sentence when a sudden "whoosh" came from behind. A book hurtled through the air from the back, aimed directly at Chen Nan's head. Immediately following this, they heard Xiao Jiji's furious shout, "Fuck your mother, do you think you can disregard my words!?"

Without turning his head, Chen Nan intercepted the flying book and, with a sharp "hiss," tore it to shreds before discarding the crumpled mass into the waste bin.

The entire class was taken aback. The newcomer was far too audacious, daring to destroy Xiao Jiji's book.

"Fuck!"

A loud curse erupted from behind them, and two teenagers in fashionable attire abruptly stood up. It was none other than Xiao Jiji and his confederate—Tian Piyan.

Both of their given names were equally remarkable!

His face contorted with rage, Xiao Jiji clenched his fists. Glancing at the boy beside him, he commanded harshly, "Pi Yan, back me up. Let's teach this little brat whose territory Class Nine truly is!" He then lunged forward and swung a punch towards the back of Chen Nan's head.

Chen Nan slowly stood up, and the entire class was under the impression he would retaliate. However, to their utter astonishment, he remained motionless, allowing Xiao Jiji's fist to descend upon him.

"Bang!"

A solid impact landed squarely on the back of Chen Nan's head.

In the very next instant, a piercing cry shattered the silence—

"Argh!"

Amidst the classmates' stunned quietude, Xiao Jiji began to writhe on the floor, clutching his fist and howling in agony.

"Damn it, damn it! This is killing me. You little brat dared to set me up."

Hopping erratically around the classroom, Xiao Jiji gritted his teeth in pain, his face contorted, and sweat beaded on his brow. He could never have envisioned, even in his wildest imaginings, that his fist would be rendered useless against Chen Nan's head.

All the students watched, dumbfounded, frozen like wooden fowls.

"Bro Jiji, are you alright?"

Trailing behind, Tian Piyan looked utterly bewildered. Xiao Jiji’s punch had struck Chen Nan's head – why was it that Chen Nan appeared unharmed, while Xiao Jiji himself was clearly in such distress? Could it be that this new transfer student possessed some sort of Demon Art?

After drawing a deep breath, Xiao Jiji finally regained some composure.

"I can't hit this dog's head. I'll attack his other body parts!" Xiao Jiji bellowed, raising his fists as he lunged towards Chen Nan once more.

"Xiao Jiji, Tian Piyan, stop this nonsense!" The class monitor, Huo Xinya, attempted to intervene, but the two were consumed by their desire for retribution and paid no heed to her pleas.

As they advanced upon him, a hint of a cold smile flickered across Chen Nan's face. He had intended to teach them a harsh lesson, but then, from the corner of his eye, he noticed the teacher positioned at the classroom doorway. Instantly, his eyes gleamed with a newfound plan.

Channeling his Inner Qi Gong, Chen Nan still made no move to strike back, allowing their blows to land upon him.

"Smack, smack!"

The instant their bare knuckles made contact with Chen Nan's chest, his Inner Qi erupted outwards, instantly numbing their arms and causing their fists to throb as if they were on the verge of splitting.

Concurrently, the class teacher, Lan Yuqin, had already arrived at the doorway and commanded, "You two, cease this immediately!"

Staggering back several meters, recoiling from the force, the two boys clutched their fists, dripping with sweat and trembling from the pain, emitting continuous wails. They bounced uncontrollably on the ground, shifting between standing and squatting, no posture offering any relief from their excruciating torment, presenting a rather comical spectacle.

Their bones had been fractured by Chen Nan's Inner Qi, resulting in genuine internal injuries.

Observing the two tormentors hopping pitifully, the remainder of the class was left in a state of shock – why were they seemingly engaged in an impromptu dance?

A frigid sneer played on Chen Nan's lips, but outwardly, he adopted an expression of extreme agony, clutching his chest and crying out, "Ow, it hurts! I'm dying... my bones are crushed, my heart is shattered, I cannot possibly live..."

Lan Yuqin, witnessing Chen Nan's apparent severe distress, turned ashen and anxiously inquired, "Are you seriously injured? You must go to the school infirmary to get examined at once."

Chen Nan, feigning a pained grimace, leaned against a desk and responded, "Thank you for your concern, teacher. I shall rest for a moment and gauge my condition. It's just, please ensure these two bullies receive a severe punishment. They were tormenting me because I'm new, demanding protection fees. When I refused to comply, they attacked me, eek, ow, it hurts!" He concluded, not forgetting to rub his chest for added emphasis.

Bullying a new student and even extorting protection money? This was an egregious offense!

Lan Yuqin's expression soured considerably.
