Jerfinndor returned to the Blood Borne Valley to find smoke billowing from his cave, where he discovered the roasted and decapitated corpse of his son Krevin, mourned by his wife Jari. His loyal servant Drem, gravely wounded with a pierced chest and gouged eye, gasped that a single demon—a morgan—had wrought the devastation. In a flashback to the invasion's start at Jillian Mountain, Mira approached the valley seeking vengeance against Krevin, accompanied by the shadowy figure of Anon, who unleashed a terrifying mana domain and slaughtered three guarding dragons in an instant with his quantum cutter, their bodies raining down in bloody fragments.

On foot, Anon stepped into the Blood Borne Valley, Mira striding alongside him in her humanoid form, terror plainly etched on her face.

Bright purple radiance shone from Anon's eyes, slicing through the shadows, as his form unleashed a tremendous surge of bloodlust.

A manic grin twisted his features while his gaze hunted for prey to slaughter.

🎵 Mnhhh Mnhhh Mnnhh Mnnhh... 🎵

All at once, he began to hum a tune.

"W-What are you doing?" Mira questioned, glancing at Anon in bewilderment.

"Singing a song," Anon answered, grinning.

'He's singing a song!? Right after slaying three dragons from the Blood Borne Valley? What sort of insane demon is this guy?' Mira wondered inwardly, her eyes bulging with horror and dread.

🎵 There lived a certain man, In Russia long ago... 🎵

Swish

A massive dragon dropped down before them, eyes blazing with fury. "Oi... Who are you? How are you—"

Anon disappeared in a flash, materializing right in front of the beast before it could complete its words.

"Wha—" The dragon got no chance to respond; Anon thrust his dual sickles into its eye sockets and ripped the orbs free.

Pull—Pull

"Oh my..." Mira averted her gaze, stomach turning at Anon's savage technique.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.... MY EYESSSSSS...." the dragon howled, staggering off balance before tumbling down.

🎵 ...He was big and strong, in his eyes a flaming glow. 🎵

Anon leaped from the corpse, severing the dragon's legs, arms, and wings in quick succession.

"MY ARMSSSSSSSSS..... MY LEGGGSSSSSS...." the dragon shrieked in torment, yet Anon spared its life, advancing onward while resuming his song.

"A-Are you not going to kill him?" Mira inquired timidly.

"No," Anon responded, humming steadily.

🎵 Most people looked at him with terror and fear, 🎵

🎵 ...but to Moscow chicks he was such a lovely dear. 🎵

"Why not?" Mira pressed.

"Luv, you're spoiling all the fun... Just watch." Anon grinned before pressing forward.

"Y-Yes..."

"There they are..." Five dragons materialized above, wheeling in circles.

"Burn them both to death. Use demonic flames." one commanded, prompting the rest to spew blazing hellfires.

"Oh shit... They are using Demonic Flames — we have to run or we'll be burned to death. Demonic Flames are very strong and they don't go out unless the target is burnt to death," Mira cautioned.

"Yeah, I know..." Anon answered, retrieving a cigar from his inventory and slipping it between his lips.

Rather than ignite it normally, he eyed the dragons and commanded, "Fire up, fast."

'What's his scheme? Flee or stick around? Am I doomed? I dare not even question him...' Mira fretted in silence.

"DIE." The dragons bellowed as the demonic flames crashed upon them.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM

Mira squeezed her eyes shut and shielded her face.

A sly smirk crept across Anon's lips.

<Quantum Reflect>

A colossal mana barrier sprang up in front of him. Upon impact, the demonic flames got fully absorbed by the shield.

Mira lowered her hands and gaped — nothing like this had ever crossed her sight before.

Anon advanced and pressed the cigar in his mouth against the shield.

Sshhhh

The cigar burst into flame. He inhaled deeply.

Puff

The onslaught of flames ceased; the dragons gawked at the earth below in utter shock.

"W-What?"

"H-How is that possible!?"

"Who is he?"

"We have to inform chief about him—"

"Oi... Is that all you had?" Anon taunted, tossing his partially scorched cigar aside and pivoting to confront them.

"W-What?" one dragon stuttered.

"Hey Mira... Have you ever tasted a roasted dragon?" Anon queried, flashing a wicked grin.

Icy shivers coursed through Mira's back. Her eyes fixed on the hovering dragons.

Anon gradually lifted his hand, fixing Mira with a sinister grin.

"Full Reflect..." he uttered, causing countless magic circles to flare up encircling the airborne dragons.

"What is happening—"

Demonic flames exploded from each magic circle before they could move.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

THUD—THUD—THUD—THUD—THUD—THUD

Charred remains plummeted to the earth. Mira's limbs quaked uncontrollably.

"I am really hungry," Anon declared, wheeling toward the sizzling cadavers and approaching them.

"A-Are you really going to eat their corpses?" Mira gasped in revulsion.

"I haven't eaten anything for the past five hours, luv." Anon exhaled over a body; its scorched scales flaked away like ash.

His hand dove into a dragon's torso, yanking out a juicy slab of meat still clinging to a massive bone.

Bite Nom-Nom

"Mnhhhmmm~ This is so good." Anon devoured it with delight.

'It's like a well-cooked chicken but a hundred times more delicious... I am killing them for no reason, I should just eat them up,' Anon mused, a scheme sparking in his mind.

"Hey Mira... How many dragons did you say live here?"

"150+, but now that you've killed so many... I—I don't really know the real number," Mira answered uncertainly.

"I noticed your body shakes every time I kill one... Why is that?" Anon wondered mid-chew.

Nom-Nom

"I—I just haven't seen someone kill a creature twenty times bigger than themselves with such ease. Y-You are like a—"

"Monster?" Anon prompted with a grin, prompting Mira to bow her head.

"Y-Yes," she murmured softly.

"I mean, I can just turn back from here..." Anon discarded the bone and strode over to Mira.

Mira gazed at him, conflicted.

"You can save all those I haven't killed yet and wait for your chance to kill Krevin. But remember—they have seen you already. If I turn back now, they will invade your home and wipe out everyone you love. The guy who killed your true love will kill your father, mother and brother if you have any. He will crush their heads just like he did with your lover... Maybe he won't kill you and will capture you as a slave. Then you'll be sold to every single dragon in this valley every day; you'll be forced to sleep with those who helped Krevin kill your family. So, if you want me to leave... I can leave." Anon breathed into her ear.

"No." Mira's terror morphed into fury; her doubt evaporated.

"Hmm...?" Anon grinned contentedly.

"Kill every single one who tries to stand in your way but I want to crush Krevin's skull with my own leg and in return, you can use my body however you want." Mira snarled venomously.

'Hmmm... Still got it. Hehehe...' Anon pondered, smirking to himself.
