Sylphy's familiars, Scarlet and Aquarina, show their affection through playful banter and kisses. Aquarina reveals her new blue lipstick and lashes, embracing her desire to be more feminine. Sylphy's Strength stat levels up, allowing her to spiritualize another Living Stat. She discusses the options with Alice, considering Magic, Agility, Defense, Resistance, HP, MP, Luck, and Charm, before Alice shows intense interest in the Luck stat.

"Sylphy, you have to choose Luck!" Alice urged, her voice trembling with urgency. "I-I should’ve suggested it earlier! This... this could change everything for you. Not just for your future, but for the battles ahead—for the entire world. If you raise your Luck... Fate itself might bend!"

"...?!"

Not only I, but Aquarina and everyone else who had been listening drew closer, their eyes wide with shock.

"What do you mean by ’Fate changing’?" I asked, stunned.

"I’m not entirely sure," Alice admitted softly, "but Luck, as a stat, holds limitless potential."

I glanced back at Aquarina in confusion before turning to Alice again. "R-Really?"

"Yes," Alice nodded firmly. "I just checked it. I strongly recommend you choose this one, Sylphy. It will become the cornerstone of your growth—an indispensable companion for everything that lies ahead."

"I see..." I murmured. "Then there’s no real choice anymore. It has to be Luck." I paused, then asked, "But how does it even level up? Strength, Magic, Agility, and Defense all seem straightforward... but Luck? Or Charm? How do you improve something like that?"

"Hmm. Luck should level up naturally as you fight and live your life, so don’t worry," Alice reassured me. "I also believe the Reward System, which will be heavily influenced by Luck, may accelerate its growth. The two will likely work together beautifully."

"Hahahah, that sounds funny," I said, nodding. "Alright then. Sure."

I quickly created a System Seed, which cost me a staggering 25 million EXP. They were getting expensive. It seemed the more I made, the higher the price climbed for each new one.

I didn’t fully understand the logic behind it, but Alice apparently required more and more EXP with each iteration—perhaps because every new seed was more complex than the last.

Once the System Seed materialized in my hands, I pressed it toward the Luck stat in my Status.

The rest happened on its own.

A brilliant light burst from the status screen, flooding everything with a radiant glow as bright as the sun itself.

While I could imagine what the other stats might look like when awakened, I had no idea what to expect from Luck.

But I felt it.

Something deep inside me stirred—an endless river of liquid gold awakening within my soul, connecting me to a vast, ethereal wheel of fate.

Speechless, I gazed up at the sky for a moment, then down at my hands.

The liquid gold began pouring out, spilling onto the floor before me and slowly coalescing into the shape of a humanoid figure.

A female silhouette resembling me—yet taller and more slender—emerged, formed entirely of shimmering liquid gold. She had gleaming golden eyes and long, flowing hair that swayed as if stirred by an invisible breeze. Around her, beautiful golden dice floated and spun, their numbers and colors constantly shifting.

I whispered in awe.

[Congratulations! You have successfully granted a System Seed to your [Luck] Stat.]

[Your [Luck] Stat has gained its own System Status and acquired a Digitalized Soul, now intrinsically connected to your body as an essential part of your Luck.]

[Your [Luck] Stat can now level up independently, gain its own stats, and develop abilities and skills tied directly to you.]

"Oh! It worked..." I laughed, though a hint of disappointment colored my voice. "Hahaha... minus ten, though. I guess it’s going to take some time to grow from there."

"Ah, there she is," I breathed, staring in wonder. "In all her glory."

"There are sub-stats, but they aren’t negative?" I asked, surprised. "I thought they would be since my main Luck stat is in the negatives."

"Well, the sub-stats are additional values layered on top of your Luck stat," Alice explained. "They help it grow beyond its current frozen state while preserving the original system glitch. So no, they aren’t negative. You can already benefit from their effects."

"Amazing..." I said, studying them closely. "But what exactly do they do? They sound fascinating—especially that Lucky Strike skill." I continued reading. "Let’s see what all the fuss was about, shall we?"

"Hmmm?! Ah... I-I see," I muttered, nodding nervously as I absorbed every detail. It was overwhelming.

Critical Chance had suddenly granted me an entirely new combat mechanic—critical hits. They offered a small but real chance for a normal attack to deal several times its usual damage while partially ignoring the target’s defenses.

Drop Fortune would dramatically improve the quality and quantity of rewards from my Reward System, ensuring rarer items dropped more frequently.

Coincidence Factor was wild—it gave me a chance to trigger favorable random events on a potentially large scale. It felt different from the similar-sounding stats.

Survival Instinct surprised me the most. I had never imagined such a thing could be tied to Luck, yet it would increase my chances of surviving deadly situations.

Probability Shift sounded exciting too. Though small for now, all these chance-based abilities would gradually tilt in my favor.

Favorable Encounters seemed related to Coincidence Factor but more focused on specific opportunities and encounters with people or "NPCs"—whatever that term truly meant.

Divine Favor could prove valuable for my own divinity and for helping others... though I wasn’t counting on the gods for anything.
