Amid the enormous changes sweeping through the Dungeon’s First Floor, after a brief spell of concern for the Robotians, I resolved to inspect their status. Accompanied by Alice and Aquarina, I activated the teleportation circle and arrived to see them bounding and scampering about, utterly unchanged from before, while they gazed in awe at the splendor of the transformed realm encircling them.
"Ah, yeah, they’re fine," I nodded. "Let’s go check on Yggdra now."
From the floating island, we jumped down, regrouped with my companions, and advanced toward Yggdra via an expansive bridge crafted from her very roots.
The closer we approached, the more space warped around us. Vibrant hues erupted in all directions, and unfamiliar creatures materialized—first hundreds, then thousands of spirits floating nearby, each distinct in form and stature.
Certain ones were adorable and welcomed us with warmth, while others proved timid and fled swiftly, and a handful merely observed us mutely, showing no response whatsoever.
As we neared further, Lara voiced her thoughts.
"It feels like we’re stepping into a deeper layer of spirituality here," she said, suddenly very serious. "Incredible. This must be like a miniature Spiritual Plane."
"Spiritual Plane?" I asked.
"A dimension composed entirely of Spirit Energy," Lara explained. "I formed mine inside my Spiritual Heart during my training a year ago—"
"You what?! And you never told us?" I interrupted.
"Eh? Was I supposed to tell you?" She tilted her head. "Well, anyway, this place is incredibly sacred. It is literally formed from Yggdra’s own Aura. How astonishing."
"This is insane," Scarlet complained, crossing her arms. "Isn’t Yggdra stronger than us now or something?"
"Yeah," Sapphire agreed. "This feels a little unfair! We didn’t get to make any divine realm."
"Maybe that’s because you didn’t expand your bodies and souls through the land and the dungeons or fuse with dungeon cores," I sighed. "Of course you’d be limited. Your divinities are concentrated inside your bodies, which is exactly what makes you so strong. Yggdra simply evolved in a different direction."
"That’s right," Armageddon added. "This overwhelming dominion over spirits and nature... ugh, even I have to admit she’s incredible—almost comparable to my greatness. But she’s still young and inexperienced."
Entering the tree proper transported us into a wholly alien realm: dazzling lights flashing across every rainbow shade, an infinite garden overflowing with blossoms in every color imaginable.
Dominating the garden's heart rose an adult Eden Apple Tree, reaching no more than five meters high. Before it stretched a tranquil lake, and by its edge lounged Yggdra, softly stroking the waters with a tranquil smile.
Within this domain of boundless purity and spiritual essence, radiating a divinity beyond our prior experiences, even Armageddon went speechless. She bit back her retort and stayed silent.
Yggdra pivoted to face us. She was stunning—a true goddess surpassing all others.
Her skin gleamed with a warm brown tone, her eyes shimmered soft gold-green, cascades of long blonde hair framed her face, pointed ears evoked elves, and radiant gold-green-yellow fairy wings adorned her back. From her head grew living spirit-wood antlers adorned with blooming flowers. A sheer white gown draped her form.
This was her Divine Avatar.
"Sylphy, my beloved master, you’ve come... I’m sorry for not responding earlier. I was exhausted, but now that you’re here, my mind has cleared. Your divinity has helped me so much."
Her words resonated through every fiber of our being simultaneously. Our very souls quivered in its presence. Armageddon collapsed to her knees, gripped by total astonishment.
"S-She...! She’s stronger than me...?!"
Refusing to believe it, she pounded the ground in rage.
"Is she?"
Startled, I strode ahead and greeted Yggdra alongside my friends.
"Yggdra, congratulations on evolving."
"Yes, thank you for allowing me to evolve, master. I have become far more connected with life and nature than ever before. I have attained not one but three Divinities."
"Three?!"
Her revelation stunned not only me but every listener present.
"W-What Divinities are those?!" Armageddon demanded.
"Life, Nature, Spirits," Yggdra answered calmly. She raised her hands: a small animal took form, a plant grew instantly, and then a spirit appeared. "And I can meld them seamlessly, it seems."
The trio merged into one Spiritual Wood Beast, akin to a diminutive squirrel. It bounded off into the garden and faded away naturally.
"That’s just amazing..." I said. "Congratulations, Yggdra!"
"Yes, I owe it all to you!" Yggdra chuckled, rising to her feet. "No—to everyone here. Thank you for helping Sylphy grow. It has all led to this moment. Even the world outside, Terrarium, has recognized me as a member of the Avalonian Court."
"T-The what?" I asked, my eyebrows twitching.
"Oh? Master, were you unaware of its existence?" Yggdra cocked her head slightly. "The Avalonian Court represents the Pantheon that houses all Divine Spirits, Spirit Kings, Spirit Queens, and Spirit Gods—essentially every god originating from this world. Not those invading from the Sea of Stars."
"Eh?! For real?! I never got an invitation before!" I exclaimed.
"Naturally not—you weren’t a goddess back then," she chuckled lightly. "I’ve heard their declarations. They claim that you, my master, have now joined as a member too."
"W-Wait a second! This is moving way too quickly!" I cried out. "One step at a time, alright—hold on, what’s up with your belly?"
"Hm?" Yggdra glanced down softly at her abdomen. "Oh, this? Fufufu..."
With a gentle laugh, she stroked her belly, showing off its remarkably swollen size.
Wait!
"Are you pregnant?!" I gasped in shock.
"Yes, a miracle has taken place," she replied with a gentle smile. "I am now carrying our child, master. Becoming a mother fills me with such joy."
"Our child?!" I screamed.
"What?! What’s that supposed to mean?!" Aquarina demanded furiously.
"C-Calm down!" I cried.
Yggdra chuckled once more, her face radiating warmth. "Please relax, Aquarina. No need for concern. It’s a healthy child. Inside the womb of my Divine Avatar lies the offspring of Master and me—or more precisely, of her Dungeon, an extension of her very essence. Through my link to the dungeon, I accepted this immature seed and chose to nurture it myself. It will become the future Dungeon Avatar."
"Ooh, I get it now..." I breathed a sigh of relief. "C-Calm down, Aquarina. It’s not like that..."
"Ah... Ugh, this is so bizarre and confusing," Aquarina sighed. "Fine... so what exactly went down?"
Though still somewhat bewildered, Aquarina listened as Yggdra patiently laid out all the details.
It turned out that during her evolution with the system, she had claimed the immature System Avatar seed. Within her divine avatar’s womb, she opted to raise it like her own offspring. Since then, it had been developing at an incredible pace.
