I marveled at the splendor of the freshly crafted Floor 1: lush forests, sprawling continents, and... vast seas.
Life buzzed vibrantly in the ocean depths. In mere seconds, dozens of fresh spirit beast species burst into existence, joined by everyday animals. Towering forests also surged upward right in the heart of these seas.
Indeed, colossal trees exploded from the seabed, their roots diving deep into the mantle before rocketing skyward, birthing entirely novel ecosystems unlike anything before. It was breathtaking.
A petite emerald moon floated nearby, draped entirely in verdant foliage—that's what gave it its glowing emerald hue. Lacking oceans, it featured merely a few enormous lakes. Though smaller than the planetoid, it remained remarkably sizable.
Lastly, past the dark void speckled with minuscule lights no larger than mountains—tiny stars gleaming fiercely in this floor’s “outer space”—loomed a bigger star, a sun about twice the emerald moon's size.
Unlike the true stars Alice had mentioned, composed purely of fire and plasma, this sun and the other stars consisted of luminous divine spiritual crystals lazily drifting across the void.
The sun stood as the grandest, with the planetoid circling it. As far as I could sense, life thrived even on the sun’s surface, though my abilities fell short of revealing fine details from so far away. Fire-attribute spirits and kindred entities resided there, amid scorching woodlands.
Yggdra’s influence appeared to have extended beyond the moon to every star—many now bore tiny trees tailored to thrive in any setting.
It was... frankly speaking, completely mind-blowing.
“Ugh, how am I supposed to locate everyone?” I grumbled. “Alright, let’s just handle it.”
I concentrated my mind. Harnessing my Dungeon Authority's power, I swiftly located all my companions.
“Come here!”
As Dungeon Master wielding Space Magic, I instantly teleported them all to me. Most seemed as stunned as I was. Aquarina had been tracking me through her hunt, arriving composed. And Lara... she’d been frolicking in a lake, dancing and singing amid dozens of animals and spirits. Wait, seriously? This girl is insanely whimsical.
“Woah!” Aquarina exclaimed, popping up next to me. “Sylphy! I was already making my way to you—I sensed you from a distance—but you were clear across this blasted continent. It’d have taken ages.”
“Sorry, guys. Stuff went down... uh, and this whole floor ballooned into a massive planet,” I sighed, spilling the facts.
“Isn’t that amazing though?!” Lara cried out. “Wow, Sylphy, life with you is never dull, hahaha!”
“Yeah, it’s nuts,” Zephyrus concurred. “Perfect for my sister—she always pulls the wildest stunts.”
“It wasn’t me! Blame Yggdra!” I protested.
“Sure, but you’re the one who awakened Yggdra and enabled all this,” Celeste noted, arms folded. “Um, Ruby, you alright?”
“Achoo! Achoo!” Ruby sneezed nonstop. “Uugh, allergies hit hard... pollen’s everywhere... sniffff... Ahh... s-sorry...”
“Hm, figures. You’re half dwarf, half oni—your kin dwell in mountains where forests and pollen are scarce,” I observed, nodding. “No worries, let me whip something up for you...”
Between my palms, I swiftly condensed magic and spiritual energy, alchemizing it into a unique semi-transparent golden mask.
“Here—a temporary spirit artifact,” I offered.
“Oh wow, how’d you pull that off—Achoo!” Ruby sneezed once more. “Sniff... Aaah, l-let me put it on—Achoo!”
She donned the mask and gradually eased up. It served as a purifying shield, stripping pollen from each inhale. A gentle touch rendered it almost unseen.
“Haaaa... fresh air smells great now!” Ruby breathed out in huge relief. “Oh wow, it feels amazing inside!”
“Glad it did the trick,” I said, giving a nod.
“Sylphy, you just whipped up a spirit artifact on the spot?!” Lara gaped in awe. “It took me years to craft them with my spirit pals!”
“Haha, it’s a bit different. I don’t draw from nature—I tap my own spirit energy,” I clarified. “Yours is clearly superior, far more adaptable and versatile.”
“No way, you’re still amazing! Sylphy, can I take lessons from you later? I wanna master my powers better,” she begged.
“But Lara, haven’t you picked up tons already?” I wondered, head cocked.
“It’s never enough!” she insisted firmly.
“Haha, fine, deal,” I consented. “I’d love extra time with my bestie.”
“Heheh, thanks!” she chirped cutely, squeezing me in a hug.
“...Ahem! Okay, time to move out,” Aquarina cleared her throat. “Everyone agree?”
“Yeah!” I nodded. “Alright, folks? Let’s go!”
Then, I called forth my Spirits and Familiars. They materialized equally shocked, glancing around bewildered.
“Sylphy! What in the world is going on?!” Ignatius bellowed.
“Ah, well... Yggdra turned into a full planet or whatever—I mean, no, she’s that massive tree there,” I described.
“What the fuck?!” Ignatius roared in shock.
“C-Calm down!” I urged.
“This is insane! Everyone’s powering up like crazy, and I’m the only loser who can’t even evolve!!!” he lamented.
“Geez, chill out,” I commanded, grabbing him and rocking him like a baby dragon in my arms. “You’ll make it! Quit bawling like a kid!”
“Ugh! Let me go!!!” he whined, wriggling adorably—but I held firm.
“Nope, you’re my dragon plushie now,” I laughed, kissing his forehead.
“I’m no baby dragon anymore!!!” he shrieked.
“Then why’re you shaped like one?” I ribbed, chuckling.
“This is my compact energy-saving mode!!!” he continued hollering.
Tuning out Ignatius’s meltdown, I addressed the rest. “Anyway, let’s head out. I’ll fill you in while we walk.”
Teleporting was an option, but Yggdra lay nearby. Strolling let us soak in the marvels: endless jungles, gigantic flora and trees, and endless novel plants and creatures all around.
“It’s gorgeous, brimming with nature spirits!” Lara trilled, skipping and twirling. “La la la la! Lalalal!” Spirits and spirit beasts flocked to her, striding joyfully beside.
“Wow, Lara’s totally the Disney princess of our crew, right?” Alice quipped, laughing.
“What’s that?” I inquired.
“Uh, like a whimsical girl acting as a fairy tale princess,” Alice elaborated.
“Oooohh! Yeah, that tracks,” I agreed, nodding.
