Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out? Chapter 1766: The Monstrous Mother 2

"Yes, mother."
As they nodded while kneeling before her, their Mother smiled viciously. Half of the fifty spirits she created from the corpses of her children were assigned to them, five for each, granting additional spiritual powers that boosted their strength even further.
As she cried out, her eyes showed both insanity and paranoia. Her children remained silent and then nodded.
"Of course, mother, we would never dare to disappoint you."
Each one spoke with a different voice, but all at once, making the scene both eerie and otherworldly.
She swiftly moved her titanic body, her gigantic legs making the ground tremble as her long form crawled across the walls and ceiling.
As she entered her chambers, she stepped into a massive hall forged of burning stone, crystals, and volcanic flames.
Her eyes closed as she sat in the center, surrounded by tens of thousands of her children’s fiery souls, which she rapidly began to refine and absorb into her warped spiritual soul.
A sphere of power continued growing, once nonexistent until she gathered immense quantities of Faith through her ever-increasing brood.
And even now, that Faith kept accumulating...
But it was not enough.
As she devoured more souls, her powers grew increasingly warped.
Before she could further refine her Divinity, a spark of electricity struck her entire body.
She screamed in agony, collapsing to the floor.
Her eyes widened, spiraling with insanity, frustration, and wrath.
She gritted her teeth and her giant mandibles.
It was the same as before, as every time she attempted "Ascension"!
She grew desperate and furious.
She glared at the ceiling and beyond, to the sky where they resided, the last lingering feeling from her past life, before she lost all her memories.
This feeling... this obsession that had become her goal.
As she laughed, she suddenly stopped, her face turning serious once more.
Mother then looked at the walls to her left, looking through the mountains...
She sensed their presences, Divinities approaching her...
She began drooling, her eyes brimming with obsession.
Her claws waved, and the entire nest around her began transforming, shifting in form and shape.
Even outside the nest, many changes were occurring.
Her laughter echoed through her nest as her children marched forward, overflowing with Spiritual and Beast Auras. They were no longer ordinary fire giant ants.

Aquarina sighed as she gazed down at the Oasis.
"Well, we’ve climbed pretty high already, huh?"
She and her family and friends had made their way back to the cliff.
This time, they chose to walk, avoiding detection by the ants.
Shade had used his powerful Illusion Attribute Magic to camouflage their presences and appearances, making everyone invisible to most living beings, except each other.
"How long until we get there?" Nepheline wondered.
"Probably a few hundred meters more, mom, almost there. Are you tired already?" Aquarina laughed.
"Tired? I would never get tired from such light exercise..." Her mother sighed.
"Whatever the case, we made sure to leave plenty of protections and formations in the village and the oasis..." Shade said. "If anything happens, they’ll be well protected, and using my shadows, I could instantly teleport there or teleport everyone if needed."
"Yes, that’s why I decided to leave Esmeralda with the chief, or else I would’ve stayed behind," Nepheline said, still worried about her newborn daughter. "But we should hurry. I don’t want this to last a whole day."
"You really talk about it like it’ll be the easiest thing in the world, mom..." Aquarina sighed.
"Oh? Are you the one lecturing me now? Haha, that’s rich coming from you, dear," Nepheline giggled, patting her head.
"Hmm..." Aquarina groaned, pushing forward and climbing with her friends.
As they ascended, Khepri gazed at the Oasis in silence, floating by Silvia’s side.
"What’s wrong, Khepri? Are you worried?" Silvia asked, tilting her head.
"Ah? Um... a bit..." Khepri sighed. "Don’t worry, I’m fine."
"Oh? Okay..." Silvia nodded. "Are you worried about the Oasis Spirit or something?"
"E-Eh? How did you know?!" Khepri gasped.
"You’ve been staring at the Oasis this entire time, haha!" Silvia laughed. "Did you get to talk with her?"
"Yeah... But it didn’t go well. She rejected me and just escaped once I tried to get closer... Dammit," Khepri sighed.
"What, really? Damn..." Silvia sighed. "I’m sorry... I guess she really doesn’t want to help... Even when this should also concern her, it’s a matter of the entire oasis’ safety after all!"
"Yeah, I know..." Khepri muttered. "Hmm... If only we could get their ornaments as well, maybe they could all get their memories back but... I can’t detect those that aren’t mine."
As Silvia and Khepri continued chatting for a few minutes, Silvia suddenly remembered something.
"I wonder if Quetz has some... I mean, if he ate that Great Spirit of the Cliff Winds and all..." Silvia muttered.
"Wait..." Khepri’s eyes widened. "You may be onto something, Silvia! Hey, bird guy! Come here!"
"Huh?"
