Regression - Second Chance At Life Chapter 3: New Found Confidence
Previously on Regression - Second Chance At Life...
After tucking his phone into his pocket, Adam steps out from his room into the recognizable hallways of his childhood home, awakening recollections he had buried deep.
Flashbacks of his innocent days as a kid, romping through these exact corridors with his birth mother. With these images swirling in his head, tears well up in his eyes slightly, and he brushes them away using his hand.
These recollections slam into him with brutal force, slightly reigniting his loathing for his father. The cause of his hatred stems from that scoundrel betraying his mother with a younger lady, and right after her death, the jerk wasted no time hauling that woman into their home to stay.
The scoundrel didn't even drop a single tear for her.
"It's no use getting riled up right now," he mutters to steady himself. Heading down the stairs, he reaches a vast hall packed with costly items his father loves throwing cash at, yet to Adam, they're nothing more than inflated statues and artwork.
Next, he heads toward the dining area. Adam steps into the dining space and spots his father scrolling his tablet, poring over the stock market just like every morning routine.
For the first time in 18 years, Adam lays eyes on this man and senses zero emotion for him. Then he glances at stepmother Julia, who's eyeing him too as she readies their breakfast. To clarify, her stare locks onto his groin.
He flashes a smirk her way, aware that his bare body has etched a strong mark on her mind, holding no high hopes for this gold digger. After all, she's a deceitful, unfaithful whore. Still, he wouldn't hesitate to ravage her wildly and transform her into his exclusive cum dump.
He's fantasized about that scenario countless times, and with this fresh second chance at hand, he plans to turn it into reality.

As Adam entered the kitchen, Julia found herself glancing at his crotch unavoidably. She still struggles to accept that the creep she's nabbed peeking at her repeatedly packs such a massive tool down there.
Then she notices Adam staring right back, and as their gazes meet, she catches the smirk playing on his lips. 'Damn, did he catch me eyeing his cock?' she wonders inwardly before averting her look.
Adam draws out a chair and takes a seat across from his dad. Jack Grant, a self-made millionaire. Spotting Adam there, he sets aside his tablet and fixes his gaze on his son.
Disappointment washes over him while eyeing his son, who just holes up in his room wasting time on video games.
"What are your plans for the future? Do you want to study any further?" Jack asks.
Adam turns to his father. This exchange rings clear in his memory since it sparked a massive argument between them, giving Julia the opening to plant suspicions in Jack's head about Adam's uselessness.
"No, I have already realized that I am not good with academic stuff. I decided to get a part-time job for now and maybe see what the future holds," Adam replies.
Both Jack and Julia feel shocked by this response. Up to this point, they've viewed Adam as utterly slothful, tackling everything with minimal effort. Witnessing him step up independently stuns them.
Jack's one positive trait is his respect for those rising from humble beginnings, having done so himself. He figures a part-time gig will instill responsibility in Adam.
"I see, then I will be cutting off your pocket money. Since you are going to earn for yourself now," Jack says. This irks Adam deeply, as he knows his father's ways inside out. It's just another of his trials.
The old Adam would have exploded in fury, exactly as the scheming old man hoped, testing if he could endure such rejection. Yet this version hails from the future, armored with unbreakable resilience.
"Whatever," he responds casually. Jack feels stunned anew. He'd braced for a tantrum from his boy, yet no challenge to his ruling came.
'What's changed in him? Anyway, it's for his benefit,' Jack muses before diving back into his tablet.
'He's acting off somehow,' Julia ponders too, noting Adam's surged confidence.
"Julia, hurry up," Adam commands, eyes locked on hers. The old Adam used her name too, but never with such commanding bite.
This catches her off guard. Disliking Adam's sharp tone, she checks her husband, only to find him absorbed in his tablet. Frustration narrows her eyes as she glares back at Adam.
With Adam holding his stare firm, she caves. "Wait a few minutes," she mutters, resuming his breakfast prep. 'That brat. Looks like he's sprouted some backbone. Wonder how long it'll hold,' she schemes inwardly while cooking.
After preparing it, she serves it to him. The standard modern breakfast includes meat, eggs, vegetables, and a glass of juice.
"Honey, when is the new maid arriving? I'm worn out from handling all the housework by myself," she questions Jack. She's grown weary of cooking breakfast for an entire week. She believed tying the knot with a wealthy man would free her from such chores.
"I have already reached out to the maid agency. They are dispatching several candidates. You may interview them and select the one that suits you best," Jack replies, his gaze fixed on the tablet.
"Finally," Julia exclaims, then delivers Jack's breakfast as well.
"When will these maids show up?" Adam inquires. Jack lifts his head and eyes Adam. "Why the curiosity?" he questions. "Well, since she'll be employed in our home, I feel I ought to have input on the decision," Adam states.
Jack gazes intently at his son, pondering when he developed such audacity and why it stayed concealed for so long. Jack welcomes this shift. He desires his son to show more initiative, enabling him to lead the family business someday if he chooses.
"5:30 PM," he responds before tucking into his breakfast. Adam nods and turns to Julia, who meets his look with bewilderment.
Struggling to figure out Adam's sudden interest in the maid affair.
For the moment, only Adam knows the real reason.
