After the previous events concluded with the Chinese team slightly behind, the Kung Fu match began. Angered by the opponents' unsportsmanlike conduct, Xinyan volunteered to fight two rounds. She swiftly defeated the first opponent and, after a tough fight, Jiang Peiqin secured the second victory. Xinyan then used her special water to recover and defeated the final opponent, securing a total victory for the Chinese team and earning the respect of their formerly arrogant opponents.

Upon their return to the hotel in the evening, everyone received the news that the following day would be a designated break for souvenir shopping.

This announcement brought immediate joy to Xinyan and Jiang Peiqin, as both were on the cusp of marriage. Beyond selecting gifts for their families, they were eager to indulge in personal shopping as well.

Although Han Jingchen and He Jinxuan had already procured foreign currency for her beforehand, Xinyan was hesitant to overtly utilize the funds from her spatial artifact due to potential quantity restrictions and the desire to avoid unnecessary complications.

Consequently, as soon as the news broke, Xinyan sought permission for an international call home. "Mom, it's Xinyan," she began.

"Yanyan, how are you? Have you settled in over there?" her mother replied.

"I'm doing well, no need to worry. We've just been informed we have the day off tomorrow. Mom, could you possibly arrange for someone to send some foreign currency my way?"

"Of course, of course! Just tell me your hotel details, and I'll make the arrangements immediately."

"Mom, it's getting late today, and I still have some things to attend to. Let's proceed first thing in the morning to ensure everything is handled correctly," Xinyan suggested.

Gu Wanqing, understanding her daughter's unspoken intentions, readily agreed, "Okay, I'll follow your plan."

After a few more brief, inconsequential exchanges, they concluded their call. Xinyan mused that exercising caution while abroad was paramount to prevent any misspoken words that could lead to trouble for both herself and her family.

Entering their room, Xinyan found Jiang Peiqin just emerging from the bathroom. "Did you finish your call?" she inquired.

Xinyan, now lying on her bed, affirmed, "Yes."

Jiang Peiqin, busy towel-drying her hair, advised, "You should head for a shower soon, too. Let's ensure we get adequate rest tonight; we have an exciting day ahead, and I've been looking forward to it immensely."

Xinyan shared in the anticipation for the next day's outing, marking her first international excursion in both of her lifetimes.

After a swift shower, she settled into bed, her thoughts occupied with selecting gifts for loved ones until she eventually drifted into sleep late into the night.

Bright and early the next morning, Xinyan descended to the hotel lobby, where she overheard the receptionist announce, "Miss Han, someone is here to see you."

Turning, Xinyan spotted a woman with distinctly Chinese features approaching her with a warm smile. "Are you Xinyan?"

Xinyan responded with a polite nod, "Yes, I am Han Xinyan."

The visitor's smile widened as she assessed Xinyan, "I'm Amy, a friend of your mother, Gu Wanqing."

Xinyan offered a gentle smile, "Hello, Auntie."

Amy was visibly taken aback by Xinyan's beauty, remarking, "You're even more stunning than your mother! Your father must be quite a handsome man too."

Her comment elicited amused chuckles from others present in the lobby.

Following a brief exchange, Amy escorted Xinyan outside and retrieved a backpack from a nearby car. "Your mother asked me to prepare this for you. Please carry this with you while you shop."

Xinyan accepted the backpack with thanks and watched as Amy departed.

To utilize the contents of the backpack openly, a formal check was still required. Back in the lobby, Xinyan approached the team leader and security personnel. "That was a friend of my mother's. I need to purchase some items for my upcoming wedding, so my mom asked her to bring me some foreign currency."

The team leader, having been present during Xinyan's phone call the previous evening, was already aware of the situation.

They escorted Xinyan and the backpack to a private room. Upon opening the bag and seeing the considerable sum of money within, they exchanged surprised glances.

The team leader couldn't refrain from asking, "Why so much?"

Confident that her family's background had been thoroughly vetted prior to her departure, Xinyan answered candidly, "My mother has traveled abroad extensively and has some business dealings here. It's not often that I have the opportunity to travel internationally, and I'll be getting married shortly after returning. Considering the numerous family members and friends, she prepared extra funds in case I find something I desire but lack sufficient means, ensuring I leave without regret."

The officials were merely fulfilling their duties. The visiting group members' family backgrounds were subject to investigation by specialized personnel, and those permitted to join the tour were undoubtedly cleared.

While they were not privy to Xinyan's specific circumstances, her explanation satisfied their concerns. "Alright, that should be fine," they conceded.

Nevertheless, they proceeded with the standard procedure of having Xinyan sign a record, a formality she readily complied with.
