Reborn As Noble Chapter 1534: Clones, Cameras, and a Catgirl’s Chaos ( 1534 )
Previously on Reborn As Noble...
Gloria’s foot connected with his ribs, her expression cold and composed even as she delivered each strike with precision. Felicia followed suit, her tail whipping behind her as she kicked his side with elegant, controlled movements. They moved in perfect sync, one striking while the other recovered, their attacks relentless.
Javier curled into a ball, his arms wrapped around his head as he rolled across the soft mattress. "Ow! Ow! Ow! I said not the face! My beautiful face is my greatest asset! You can’t damage the merchandise!"
"Merchandise!?" Gloria’s brow twitched as she delivered another kick, harder this time.
"Did you just call yourself merchandise!?" Felicia’s foot slammed into his side, her tail lashing with irritation.
Gracelle and Celine stood off to the side, watching the chaos unfold. They glanced at each other, their lips twitching before they both raised their hands to cover their mouths, soft laughter escaping through their fingers.
Delya moved toward the long table with her usual dreamy smile. She stopped in front of the six Javier clones, her eyes drifting from one to the next.
The first clone, standing with his arms crossed, smiled warmly at her.
"Hello, beautiful."
The second clone, one hand on his forehead in a dramatic pose, extended his other hand toward her. "Your eyes hold the light of a thousand stars, and I could gaze into them forever."
The third clone, wearing glasses and holding a book, leaned against the tree with a calm, confident smirk. "I’ve read a thousand stories, but none as captivating as the one written in your smile."
The fourth clone, mid-hair-swipe, paused and turned to face her, his grin smooth and charming. "They say beauty fades with time, but looking at you, I think time itself would pause just to admire you a little longer."
The fifth clone, hands in his pockets, turned his head toward her with a mysterious, brooding expression. "I’ve traveled through countless realms and seen wonders beyond imagination... but nothing compares to the wonder of you."
The sixth clone, winking and pointing finger guns at her, tilted his head with a playful grin. "You know what’s sweeter than the finest chocolate in this world? The smile on your face right now. And I’d trade every dessert I’ve ever tasted just to see it again."
Delya’s cheeks flushed a soft pink. She hugged her chocolate jar tighter, her dreamy smile widening as she swayed gently on her feet.
"Ah~ Every Danna-sama is just like the real Danna-sama~ The same smile, the same eyes, the same warmth~ It’s like having seven of my beloved husband all at once~"
The third clone moved toward the table, his movements calm and composed. He picked up the picture book, flipping it open to a page where Javier was posed in a dramatic, heroic stance. He nudged his glasses up the bridge of his nose and looked at Delya with a gentle, knowing smile.
"You know, these clones may be born from a skill, but every word we speak, every pose we strike, every smile we wear... it all comes from him. The real Javier. We’re not empty copies. We’re fragments of his heart, his thoughts, his feelings for you. Everything he’s ever wanted to say, everything he’s ever held back because he was too shy or too busy... we carry all of it."
He closed the book and set it down, his gaze never leaving her.
"So when we say you’re beautiful, we mean it. When we say you’re sweeter than chocolate, we mean it. Because we are him, and he means every word he’s ever said to you."
The second clone stepped forward, swiping his hair back in a smooth, practiced motion. He raised his hand, and a mana phone, a sleek, glowing device that belonged to Delya, appeared in his palm. He waved it gently, a teasing grin on his lips.
"I wonder whose phone this is~ Did a beautiful demon princess happen to lose it?"
Delya gave him a narrow, playful look, her lips curling into a soft smirk. She extended her palm.
"Give it back, you cheeky Danna-sama."
The fourth clone moved in a blur, snapping the mana phone from the second clone’s hand with a smooth, fluid motion. He held it up, wagging a finger at the second clone before turning his charming smile toward Delya.
"Now, now~ Let’s not play games with our beautiful demon princess. She deserves better than that."
He turned to Delya, his expression softening into a warm, inviting smile.
"How about a picture together? With all of us? It’s not every day you get to be surrounded by so many versions of your beloved husband~"
Delya’s smile widened, her dreamy expression turning playful. She raised her palm, and six shimmering clones of herself materialized behind her, each one identical to her, each one wearing the same dark purple bikini, each one sporting the same dreamy smile.
"Since you’re offering~ Then it’s only fair I bring my own company~"
The first Javier clone smiled warmly. "I love the idea~"
All six Delya clones giggled softly, their voices overlapping in a soft, melodic chorus. They walked gracefully toward the six Javier clones, each one taking a Javier’s hand with a gentle, affectionate grip.
The first Delya stood beside the first Javier, who wrapped his arm around her waist. The second Delya posed with the second Javier, her head resting on his shoulder. The third Delya held the third Javier’s hand, the book still tucked under his other arm.
The fourth Delya leaned into the fourth Javier, her cheek against his chest. The fifth Delya stood with the fifth Javier, his arm draped over her shoulder. The sixth Delya tilted her head against the sixth Javier’s arm, both of them winking playfully.
Delya raised the mana phone, turning it horizontally and activating the camera mode. The screen glowed softly as she framed the shot, capturing all six pairs in the frame.
"Everyone~ Say chocolate~"
Delya captured several images in a row, her dreamy smile never fading as she snapped photo after photo. She lowered the mana phone and glanced at the screen, her expression softening as she reviewed the pictures. Then her eyes narrowed. She bit her lower lip, her fingers tightening around the phone before she let out a sharp hiss.
"Miiiimiiiiii!!"
Mimi was perched on the long table, her tail swaying lazily behind her, flipping through the picture book with obvious delight. She turned her head at Delya’s call, tilting it to the side with a clueless expression.
"Nya? What’s wrong?"
Delya hissed again, holding up the mana phone and pointing at the screen. "Every picture I took has you in it! Every single one! Look!"
She thrust the mana phone forward, pointing at the screen. In every photo, behind the posed clones, Mimi was visible in the background, striking different cheeky poses.
In one, she had her hands raised in peace signs, her tongue sticking out. In another, she was winking and blowing a kiss toward the camera. In a third, she was bent over with her rear toward the lens, her tail lifted teasingly.
"You ruined every single shot!" Delya snapped. "How did you even get in all of them!?"
Mimi’s grin widened, her eyes gleaming with mischief. She scooped up all seven of the picture books in one swift motion, hugging them against her chest before she bolted off the table. Her laughter echoed across the beach as she ran.
"Nyahahahah~!"
