Liana and Buddy prepare for a relaxing day at the beach, with Buddy magically transporting their picnic supplies. Liana inquires about the Young Master's whereabouts, and Buddy reveals he is on a distant hill. Liana voices her anxieties about the Young Master facing insurmountable challenges alone and her own preparedness to protect others, especially after an encounter with one of the Abyssal Seven. Buddy reassures her of her own hidden strength and the loyalty of the pekkos, promising they will stand with her.

Meanwhile.

At the top of the hill.

Javier stood at the peak of the hill, one leg crossed casually over the other, both hands resting on his hips, his chest puffed out as he took in the breathtaking view. The wind swept through his hair, and the sunlight caught the defined contours of his body, his lean, perfectly sculpted muscles gleaming under the warm glow of the morning sun.

His gaze was fixed on the distant sea, where Armand’s warships patrolled the waters in perfect formation. Their sleek, modern designs cut through the waves with effortless grace, their hulls gleaming with a polished, metallic sheen. Anti-air mana guns lined their decks, their barrels tracking the skies with mechanical precision.

Docks for mana helicopters extended from their sterns, ready to launch at a moment’s notice. Mana cannons, mana missile launchers, and mana gatling guns bristled from every angle, their weapons systems humming with quiet, deadly power.

Hmm...

Looks good...

He glanced down at the device he had just planted on the ground. It was a small, sleek cylinder, glowing with a soft, pulsing light. Mana waves rippled outward from its core in steady, rhythmic intervals, spreading across the island and beyond like invisible threads.

With this new device I just planted, no one will be able to use teleportation or open any portal here. Except for Armand Family and trusted aides.

He crouched down, checking the readings on the device’s holographic display.

And if this device detects two or more signatures carrying the same mana frequency...

His eyes narrowed slightly.

It won’t just send a warning. It will summon the newest upgraded puppet knights, the ones specifically designed to counter those bastards. And they’ll go straight to the source.

Javier stood straight, slipping both hands into the pockets of his beach trunks as his gaze drifted upward toward the sky. The wind ruffled his hair, and the distant cry of seabirds echoed across the hilltop.

I’ve already updated all the detection programs for my battle drones and scout drones. Each one now carries the new corruption-detection algorithm, fine-tuned to recognize the specific mana signature of the Abyssal Seven.

His eyes tracked the faint shimmer of an invisible scout drone patrolling high above the island, its sleek form barely visible against the clouds.

And I’ve updated the Sky Eyes surveillance system, along with the mana satellite network, to detect and track them every time they appear anywhere within this continent.

He glanced down at the device at his feet, its soft glow pulsing steadily.

Thanks to the samples I collected, I’ve managed to isolate their mana signature, their corruption frequency, and their portal resonance. I can now predict where they’ll appear, how long they can stay, and how to cut off their escape routes.

He paused, his expression turning thoughtful as he stared at the horizon.

Now it leaves me with the last piece of data I need. Their master. The one who commands them. The one who sent them. I don’t know who that bastard is. I don’t know where he’s hiding. But I know he’s out there, watching, waiting.

His brow furrowed slightly, a flicker of frustration crossing his features.

I wonder who that bastard is. The presence I sensed back when I defeated those two... that wasn’t him. It was someone else. Someone watching from a distance.

Probably the leader among all seven.

He pulled one hand from his pocket and rubbed his chin slowly.

Hmmm...

I also sensed the presence of Father, Alf, and Erinette that time. Looks like Father came to ’greet’ this mysterious guy. Perhaps Father knows who they are. Or perhaps Father and Mother know who their master is.

Maybe this is why Aunt warned me and made me promise to protect Mother when the time comes.

Javier chuckled softly, a low, knowing sound that carried on the wind.

Well...

I’m sure they already know about the other continent and the summoned heroes from there. They’ve been watching, waiting, gathering information. Just like us.

He narrowed his eyes, his gaze sharpening as he thought about the pieces falling into place.

I’m sure they were waiting for the upcoming invasion. They’re taking advantage of the chaos that’s about to unfold. The other continent, the summoned heroes, the war that’s coming... it’s all part of their plan. They’re using the confusion to move in the shadows, to strike when we’re distracted.

Javier’s smirk widened, his eyes narrowing with a dangerous gleam.

I don’t care if they’re working with Julius or against him. It doesn’t matter. Ally, enemy, or something in between, it makes no difference to me.

If any of them come and try to harm any of my family, my girls, or my people...

A manic grin spread across his face as he raised one knuckle, a brilliant aura flaring to life around it. Seven colors swirled together in perfect harmony, weaving and dancing like living light.

I’ll crush them. Harder and crueler than last time. I’ll tear them apart piece by piece, break their bodies, shatter their souls, and scatter whatever remains into the void.

I won’t stop until there’s nothing left of them. I’ll make them regret ever crawling out of whatever dark hole they came from. I’ll make them suffer in ways they never imagined possible.

And when I’m done, they’ll wish they had never crossed paths with Javier de Armand.

Javier glanced around from the top of the hill, his eyes sweeping across the island with quiet satisfaction. He was about to turn away when something in the far distance caught his attention.

Hmm?

His gaze narrowed, focusing on a familiar orange figure moving along the winding path below. Buddy was walking with his usual confident, bouncy stride, his chest puffed out with pride. And beside him, a woman in a maid outfit walked with graceful, unhurried steps.

Who is Buddy with?

Javier squinted his eyes, raising his hand to shield them from the sun as he focused. A slow, warm smile spread across his face.

From the way she walks, the grace in her step, the way her silver hair flows in the breeze, and that maid outfit...

That’s definitely Liana.

His gaze drifted further down toward the beach. He could see the figures of his girls scattered across the white sand, their colorful swimsuits standing out against the pristine shore. A little further away, in a separate area, he spotted his father, Garius, lounging with his mother Fransesca and all his stepmothers, their group enjoying the peace and quiet of the private island.

Looks like everyone’s already enjoying themselves.

He inhaled deeply, filling his lungs with the clean, salty air, before letting out a long, slow exhale. The tension in his shoulders melted away, replaced by a relaxed, easy confidence.

And since I’m on vacation right now...

I’m going to enjoy it.

A sly grin spread across his face, his eyes glinting with mischief as he rubbed his palms together.

Time to see what my girls are up to~

And see all my beautiful girls, in their bikinis~

He chuckled low, a cheeky, knowing sound, before vanishing from the top of the hill in a blur of motion.
