Luvia huffed, biting her lower lip in frustration as she yanked her gown back into place, her movements sharp and irritated. She smoothed the fabric down with a scowl, muttering under her breath about "useless men" and "wasted opportunities."
Selon let out a low, lazy chuckle, still sprawled across the couch, his eyes half-closed as he watched her fuss. "You know, Luvia, for someone who’s supposed to be the embodiment of desire, you’re not very good at handling rejection."
"Shut up, Selon!" Luvia snapped, her cheeks flushing with irritation.
She moved toward the couch, huffing as she shoved Selon’s legs aside with her hips, making him grunt in annoyance.
"Oi! What are you doing? Find your own seat, you annoying woman!"
"Move over, you lazy lump. I want to sit."
Selon shot her a flat glare, his voice dripping with irritation. "You’re so annoying, you know that? Can’t a man just lie down in peace without being poked, prodded, and pushed around by some needy succubus wannabe?"
"Succubus wannabe?" Luvia repeated, her voice dripping with disbelief. "I am Lust. Lust! The most desired being in any realm. The one every creature craves. And you call me a succubus wannabe?"
"Yes. Now shut up and let me relax," Selon grumbled, shifting his legs back onto the couch and closing his eyes again.
Before Luvia could retort, the sound of armored boots echoed from the corridor outside. Each step was slow, heavy, and deliberate, growing louder until the door handle turned with a sharp click.
The door swung open.
Primarch stood in the doorway, his arms crossed over his chest, his full dark armor gleaming faintly under the dim light. His presence filled the room instantly, commanding and absolute. His gaze swept over the two of them with calm authority.
"Selon. Luvia. To the main hall... now."
Selon let out a long, exaggerated groan, his head lolling back against the couch cushion as he threw an arm over his face.
"Why can’t I just relax for one day? Just one day! Every single time I try to rest, there’s always something. Always work. Always orders. Always ’Selon, do this.’ ’Selon, go there.’ ’Selon, fetch your sister.’ It’s never ’Selon, take a nap.’ ’Selon, enjoy yourself.’ No. Never. Just endless demands."
"Selon." Primarch’s voice cut through the air like a blade, calm and final. "Now."
He let out another dramatic sigh, slowly pushing himself up from the couch.
"Fine. I’m coming. Ugh! So annoying."
Selon dragged his feet as he walked, his shoulders slouched and his hands shoved deep into his pockets. Each step was slow and unhurried, and he let out a long, lazy yawn.
Luvia walked beside him, her hips swaying with every step, her sheer gown clinging to her curves as she moved with deliberate grace. Primarch walked ahead of them, his posture regal and composed, his steps measured and deliberate. He moved with an air of absolute authority, his back straight, his shoulders squared, his gaze fixed forward.
Luvia glanced at Selon, her voice low and curious. "Where is Wrexa?"
"That idiot?" Selon let out a dismissive scoff, his voice dripping with irritation. "She’s in the treatment room. Got burned to a crisp by the white flames of those two princes. Serves her right. She could’ve just ignored them, grabbed her target, and left. But no. She had to pick a fight. She had to show off. And now she’s lying there, all crispy and pathetic. What a moron."
Luvia let out a soft exhale, shaking her head as she crossed her arms under her breast.
"If Master finds out about this, he’ll be furious. Wrexa was warned repeatedly not to engage before the order was given. " She paused, her gaze shifting toward Primarch’s back. "Leader, I noticed Erebra and Gioni aren’t here. Where are they?"
Primarch continued walking, his voice calm and flat. "They’re both already lost."
Selon and Luvia both stopped mid-step, their eyes widening. Selon let out a disbelieving chuckle, shaking his head.
"Leader, you shouldn’t joke about something like that."
Luvia nodded, her lips curving into a nervous smile. "Yes. Erebra is fast, strong, and agile. She has more tricks and skills than any of us. And Gioni... his body is stronger than adamantite. There’s no way he could be defeated that easily. Despite his size and enormous appetite, he has the strongest defense among all of us."
Selon nodded lazily, his voice still carrying a hint of amusement.
"Yeah. That big idiot can take hits that would obliterate any of us. He’s slow, but he’s a walking fortress. Whoever tried to fight him would have to deal with his regeneration too. So come on, Leader. Stop messing with us."
Primarch continued walking, his voice cold and final.
"Have you ever heard me joke?"
Both of them fell silent for a long moment, the weight of Primarch’s words pressing down on them. Selon and Luvia exchanged a glance before quietly answering in unison.
"No..."
Primarch continued walking, his steps unhurried, his cape swaying behind him. Luvia’s gaze remained fixed on his back, her mind racing. Her expression darkened, her lips pressing into a thin line as she quickened her pace to keep up with him. Her voice came out colder, a mix of curiosity and bitter resentment.
"Leader... was it Garius who defeated them?"
Primarch kept walking in silence, his posture unchanged.
Selon let out a slow breath, rubbing the back of his neck. "I also felt Garius’s presence back when I went to fetch Wrexa. That overwhelming, suffocating power. I could feel it approaching from a distance. If it was him, then I can see why Erebra and Gioni lost."
Primarch stopped walking, still standing with his arms crossed. He glanced over his shoulder, the faint red glow from his helm’s eye slits casting a sharp, menacing light across the darkened stone floor.
"No. It was not Garius who defeated them."
Luvia’s eyes narrowed further, her mind racing through the possibilities. "Then... was it Fransesca?"
Primarch turned forward again, resuming his steady, unhurried pace. Luvia and Selon followed, their footsteps echoing in the heavy silence.
"No. Not Fransesca either. It was a boy."
Selon and Luvia both stopped dead in their tracks, their eyes widening in disbelief.
"A... boy?"
