Javier's rough carriage ride sends Gorak and Jaigar's parties reeling. Denied entry due to improper documentation and facing the stern guards of the Beastkin Nation, the travelers are forced back into their carriages. Gorak and Jaigar seethe with humiliation, vowing revenge as Javier signals his next move.

The following morning arrived.

Within the Armand Nation, specifically at the Armand Estate, Javier’s Room was prepared.

Myra and Juria concluded their examination of Gracelle’s health, their expressions betraying a sense of professional calm. Myra, with a warm smile, closed her medical kit.

"Your condition is progressing favorably, Miss Gracelle. You should engage in gentle walks around your room or the hallway to help regain your strength. Avoid strenuous activities, but light movement is beneficial."

Gracelle offered a soft smile in response, her gaze shifting to Myra with a flicker of hopeful anticipation. "So... may I... umm... have some chocolate now?"

Myra chuckled softly and gently shook her head. "Not just yet, Miss Gracelle. It's not that your body isn't ready, but we require permission from His Highness, who performed the surgery and has the most intimate knowledge of your condition, before authorizing any new foods. Adhering strictly to his instructions is vital for your complete recovery."

"Oh..." Gracelle’s smile dimmed slightly, a trace of disappointment clouding her eyes before she nodded in understanding. "I understand..."

Her attention drifted to Mimi and Delya, who were seated nearby, enjoying their breakfast served by the maids. Mimi, slumped in her chair, her ears pulled down and her tail hanging limply, listlessly prodded her food with a fork. She appeared as though she had been abruptly awoken and forced to partake in the meal, letting out a prolonged, dramatic yawn with her eyes half-closed.

Delya, in stark contrast, ate her breakfast with a dreamy, refined grace, a subtle, contented smile gracing her lips as she savored each morsel. She elegantly cut a piece of perfectly cooked steak, brought it to her mouth slowly, and chewed with closed eyes, lost in blissful rapture.

"Nyaa!" Mimi’s cheeks puffed out as she glared at Delya with sleepy, half-lidded eyes.

Delya paused, her cutlery hovering over her plate as she narrowed her eyes at Mimi. "Mimi! Eat with decorum and sit up straight. You are not a feral creature."

Mimi flicked her gaze towards Delya, her fork dangling loosely. "Nya! I am still sleepy, nya! Why did you insist on waking me so early?"

Delya continued her steak with impeccable poise, deftly cutting another piece and relishing it before responding. "Such a delightful breakfast is meant to be enjoyed with proper appreciation. Furthermore, it is entirely your own doing for staying up until midnight."

"Nya!" Mimi’s cheeks inflated, her tail twitching with irritation. "Since Liana, Gloria, and Nee-sama are not yet present, it becomes rather dull! My only recourse for amusement lies in games or observing the Sky Eye broadcasts!"

Delya offered a slight shake of her head before turning her gaze toward Gracelle, who was still resting in bed. A gentle smile bloomed on her face.

"Gracelle, would you care to join us for breakfast? Your meal has been prepared and served as well."

Gracelle's eyes brightened, and she nodded, a pleasant smile spreading across her features. She slowly dismounted the bed, steadying herself before taking deliberate, measured steps toward the table.

Mimi’s ears perked up, and a playful, mischievous spark ignited in her eyes. She began a quiet, internal count, her tail swaying with burgeoning excitement.

"One... two... three..."

Gracelle advanced another step, her hand lightly brushing against the back of a chair for support.

"Four... five..."

Delya’s eyes narrowed as she watched Mimi, who was now pressing her lower lip between her teeth in barely suppressed anticipation, her fangs peeking out as her tail began an eager side-to-side sway.

"Mimi..." Delya’s voice carried a distinct warning.

"Four... five... six..."

Gracelle took yet another step, her pace slow but unwavering in its resolve.

"Seven... eight..."

Delya’s gaze intensified. "Mimi..."

"Nine... ten!" Mimi’s tail shot upwards, a wide grin illuminating her face. "Ehehe~ Well done! You managed it without a single stumble, my junior~"

Gracelle emitted a soft chuckle before gracefully pulling out a chair and taking her seat with refined elegance.

"Nya~" Mimi's eyes gleamed with renewed enthusiasm. "Now that you can walk, let’s explore the manor, nya! There are numerous fascinating locations and structures to behold!"

Delya’s eyes narrowed further, her voice measured yet firm. "Not all areas are appropriate for us to visit without our husband's presence. Certain zones are restricted, as you are well aware, Mimi."

"Nya?" Mimi tilted her head, her ears twitching curiously. "Then let us simply visit Lady Mother, nya! We can seek her consent to explore!"

Delya released a prolonged sigh before resuming her meal, her movements languid and graceful as she prepared another slice of steak.

Mimi tilted her head to the side, her gaze drifting from her own plate to the generous platter of meats and fruits arranged at the center of the table.

"Nyaaaaa~"

Delya glanced at her, a faint smile playing on her lips. "What troubles you, Mimi?"

Mimi rested her chin upon the table, her tail drooping dejectedly. "The fare is delectable, but I find myself longing for Big Sis Liana’s signature special sauce. Nyaaaaa... I wonder when she shall return home..."

"Hmm?" Delya cast a confused glance at her. "Your elder sister arrived earlier this morning, along with Gloria."

"Eh? Truly nya?!"

"Mm... yes. Is there a problem?"

"Nya! Why did you not tell me?!"

Delya's eyebrow arched, her expression remaining placid. "Hmm? I have just informed you. Moreover, the reason I roused you was at your elder sister Liana's behest. I only mentioned it now because you inquired."

"Oh? Ehehehe~" Mimi's spirits lifted instantaneously, her ears twitching with agitation. "Where is she nya?!"

"I am uncertain. However, elder sister Liana simply instructed me to wake you and ensure you consumed breakfast."

"Ehehehe! This is hardly the moment to partake in breakfast!" Mimi's tail shot upwards as she propelled herself from her seat. "I must locate elder sister first, nya!"

Yet, just as she prepared to bolt towards the exit, the door creaked open.

Liana entered with exquisite grace, her lengthy silver hair catching the burgeoning sunlight, her rosy, full lips formed into a serene, collected expression. Her maid attire accentuated her figure flawlessly, the material flowing with every movement, her chest oscillating gently as she advanced. A silver tray was held in her grasp, her demeanor refined and composed.

She paused, her gaze sharpening on Mimi, her voice emanating low and stern. "Mimi. Be seated and consume your breakfast. Do not compel me to reiterate my words."

Mimi pressed her lips together, her tail swaying languidly before she erupted into an expansive grin. "Big Sis!!!"

Liana released a soft exhalation, then shifted her attention to Delya. "How have you fared, Delya? And how did our typical troublemaker conduct herself during my absence?"

Delya offered a gentle smile, her tone imbued with respect. "She was her usual self, elder sister. Playful, mischievous, and brimming with vitality. Yet, nothing overly vexing occurred."

Liana gave a slight shake of her head, accompanied by a faint sigh, before directing her focus toward Gracelle. Her voice softened, carrying a refined, nurturing cadence.

"Gracelle, how are you feeling this morning? I trust your rest has been adequate and that you have adhered to Myra's directives?
