Armand Nation. Gaze City. Armand Main Military Headquarters. Garius was seated at the central table, his gaze intently fixed upon the portable mana computer. On its screen, a live feed from the Elven border gate played out, the audio capturing every word exchanged during the negotiations between Javier, Mikhail, Gorak, and Jaigar. Nearby, Alf sat observing, while Erinette stood with elegance, tending to their cups. Garius let out a slow breath, his expression unreadable. Alf inquired,

Garius's eyes held a flicker of amusement as he smiled. "My youngest son had mentioned that he brought the two along solely for the purpose of them seeing their parents and enjoying themselves, not for any mission."

He looked at Alf with a smirk. "My apologies, Alf, for causing you to be separated for a few hours. However, knowing Liana and Gloria as I do, they wouldn't readily obey just any officer. They would likely protest or attempt to follow Javier themselves. But with Erinette present, they have no recourse but to obey."

Alf offered a slight smile, shaking his head. "It is no inconvenience, Your Majesty. I understand completely. And given the swiftness of the Armand mana helicopter compared to ground travel, I will not be apart from my wife for an extended period."

As they proceeded towards the exterior, making their way to the mana helicopter landing pad, soldiers positioned along the path snapped to attention, offering salutes. Higher-ranking officers maintained a respectful distance behind them.

Approaching from a distance, a soft whirring sound intensified, and a female officer came into view, halting before Garius. She placed her hand over her left chest and delivered a respectful bow.

"Your Majesty, the mana helicopter is prepared for departure."

Garius turned his head to face Erinette. "Your task is to ensure Liana and Gloria board the mana helicopter and return to Armand. Do not afford them any opportunity to protest, even once they discover Javier is undertaking the mission alone."

"Understood, Your Majesty." Erinette placed her hand over her left chest and inclined her head in a slight bow. "I shall ensure those two accompany me, even if I must resort to employing force."

"Excellent." Garius then addressed the female officer. "Instruct the pilot to avoid flying over the primary route Javier will be traversing. I do not wish for even the slightest indication of our presence to arouse suspicion. Engage the invisibility setting and prioritize the passengers' safety. Furthermore, direct the escort pilot to maintain constant vigilance."

"As you command, Your Majesty."

"Mm..." Garius turned his gaze back to Erinette, tapping the mana talkie fitted in his ear. "Provide me with updates. At the very least, keep me informed through Alf, ensuring we are aware of the situation at all times."

"As you wish, Your Majesty."
