Zeyrinda wakes from a nightmare, recalling her past as she fled from Francesca. Demoted to an "abyss spirit," Zeyrinda and others were punished for bringing terrestrial beings into their world. Francesca, the "executioner," revealed that Garius, Mylezra, Lioness, Edmund, Gurdan, Gumarak, and even the future Demon King Veldrac were involved in sealing them. Zeyrinda escaped with the help of other abyss spirits and now plots revenge against Francesca and the continent, intending to use her summoned heroes, enhanced with her essence, to achieve victory.

In the meantime.

Armand Nation.

Francesca was positioned atop a hill situated behind the Armand estate, her figure silhouetted against the moonlit sky. The expanse above was clear, studded with countless stars that twinkled like scattered diamonds. A gentle zephyr stirred her hair and attire, carrying the fragrant essence of blossoms. Around her, a soft, luminous radiance shimmered, resembling dancing motes of light that enveloped her in a tender, otherworldly aura.

She let out a quiet giggle, a smile gracing her lips as she directed her gaze upwards towards the heavens.

I vividly recall that time…

My objective was to pursue and vanquish those three spirits. However, my brother descended from the higher planes and intervened.

He informed me that the retribution and execution had been deferred. He stated that destiny had already charted a different course. He foretold the arrival of someone extraordinary, an individual destined to bring equilibrium and transformation to this realm, and advised me to embrace the predetermined path.

She closed her eyes, a gentle smile persisting on her lips.

He instructed me to adhere to the plan: to wed Garius, establish a family, and allow the tapestry of fate to unfurl as ordained. And thus, I married Garius, bore him three sons, and observed as destiny gradually unveiled its grand design—the seven destined wives for him, the children we would nurture, and the future that awaited.

Her eyes fluttered open, her gaze imbued with a soft, knowing quality.

And now, that unique individual is already treading their destined path. My youngest son. The one who will confront the impending tempest for which we have been preparing all along.

"Uuu~ Radiant One!"

Francesca turned, a smile gracing her features as she acknowledged the voice. Eridith stood behind her, trembling from the night's chill, clutching herself tightly while biting her lower lip.

"Ara? You dare to raise your voice against me?"

Eridith swallowed audibly, averting her gaze nervously. "No… but it’s rather chilly out here. Why did we venture to this location?"

"Arara~ A dragon girl, she who wields the White Flame title, shivering amidst this cold?"

"Mou!" Eridith pouted, her lips forming a distinct pout. "That was in the past. Since marrying Garius, I too can feel the cold, you know."

Francesca emitted a soft chuckle and once more directed her gaze skyward.

"Eridith?"

"Yes, Radiant One?"

"Do you place your faith in fate?"

Eridith rolled her eyes. "This inquiry again? You are already privy to my response, Radiant One. You have iterated numerous times that fate has already woven its intricate threads. I possess no cause for doubt, particularly in light of all that has transpired."

Francesca smiled and offered Eridith a playfully sidelong glance. "How fares Garius? Is he well?"

Eridith shifted her gaze away, her cheeks suffused with a blush as she embraced herself more firmly, murmuring indistinctly beneath her breath.

"Soon…" Francesca’s voice softened as she reverted her attention to the celestial bodies. "The winds of change shall sweep across this world. A formidable storm is gathering, and our continent will undergo a profound trial. The Human Nation will succumb to avarice and internal conflict. Armand will be preoccupied with safeguarding its allies. And those three deceptive goddesses will mobilize their forces and champions against us, intent on annihilating all that we have meticulously constructed."

Eridith offered a faint smile and glanced towards Francesca before executing a graceful curtsy, her voice resonating with profound reverence.

"I shall exert my utmost effort, Radiant One. As your sworn protector, your confidante, and as one of Garius’s consorts, I will stand unwavering by your side and defend this family with every fiber of my being. Regardless of the challenges, I shall not waver."

Francesca beamed with warmth, her eyes expressing a tender affection.

"I am aware, Eridith. And my confidence in you is absolute. However, beyond that…" She paused, her gaze drifting towards the distant illumination emanating from the Armand estate below. "I also place my trust in another. My youngest son. He possesses an inner luminescence that even I cannot fully comprehend. He will confront the forthcoming tempest and will not yield."

Her gaze extended towards the distant boundary of the horizon, a knowing spark glinting within her eyes.

"And when the appointed hour arrives… I firmly believe he shall be prepared."

In the meantime.

Elven Northern Border.

A long bench situated near a fountain.

"Achooooom!"

Javier sat bolt upright, vigorously rubbing his nose with an expression of bewilderment. The sudden expulsion of air had startled him from a state of semi-slumber.

Buddy opened a solitary eye, directing a languid glance towards Javier.

"Cuquawked?"

Javier, still attending to his nose, surveyed the dimly illuminated town square. "I am uncertain as to the cause of my sneeze, but invariably, it heralds trouble. Much like past occurrences. Ugh, most vexing. I wonder what form of predicament approaches me this time."

"Cuquawked!!" Buddy vocalized, a smug, avian smirk spreading across his countenance.

"Yes, yes. I comprehend. Trouble is my middle name, et cetera, et cetera…" Javier waved a dismissive hand, reclining once more on the bench with a weary sigh.

"You know, Buddy?"

"Cuquawked?"

Javier turned his head, casting a glance at Buddy. "Do you surmise that we might encounter some stimulating action during this assignment?"

"Cuquawked~"

"I have a feeling that the group Vane dispatched to go into Armand and gather intelligence won't be traveling peacefully. They're certain to stir up trouble. I can just sense it."

"Cuquawked?"

"I'm not sure, Buddy. But my gut tells me those scoundrels and their entourage are going to create a disturbance before long. Perhaps even before they manage to reach Armand."

"Cuquawked~" Buddy puffed his chest out with an air of confidence.

"Indeed, I know. If they dare to cause trouble, I'm certain you will utterly defeat them. However... try not to eliminate every single one. Spare at least one individual so Father can employ his Eyes of Truth to extract their memories, all their intel, everything concealed within their minds. That information is far more valuable to us than their lives."

Javier let out a chuckle, casting his gaze upward towards the canopy of stars.

"But if they genuinely decide to cause trouble... well, let's just say they won't fare well in the end. I'm not exactly in the mood for pleasantries right now."

He released a sigh, his expression shifting to one of contemplation.

"I had rather hoped Vane himself would make an appearance. Father mentioned he seemed like a strategist, a person possessing a keen intellect, and indeed, he is more formidable than the other two, Jaigar and Gorak. But observing Vane's cautious approach, I doubt he would venture far from his sanctuary. He strikes me as the type to remain concealed in the shadows, allowing others to undertake the perilous endeavors. An individual like him likely possesses all the crucial information regarding these outsiders."

Javier flashed a smirk, a spark of anticipation igniting within his eyes.

"So, for the present, we are left with a collection of impetuous, conceited pawns to contend with. And I am more than prepared to impart a stringent lesson to them."

He let out a yawn, extending his arms languidly above his head before settling back onto the bench.

"Well... for now, let us seek some repose. Our appetites have been satisfied, the night is tranquil, and tomorrow shall undoubtedly usher in its own portion of turmoil."

"Cuquawked!" Buddy emitted a soft, agreeable chirp, nestling down beside the bench.

"Goodnight, Buddy."

"Cuquawked~" Buddy closed his eyes, his breathing gradually deepening as he succumbed to slumber.
