Gorak's team brutally slaughters a group of halflings, but Falce, their healer, becomes enraged by their dismissive attitude towards her and uses her powers to incapacitate them. She criticizes Gorak's leadership and declares her intention to seek reassignment. Meanwhile, Garius and Javier witness the massacre on a holographic screen, with Javier vowing revenge while Garius urges him to remain focused.

Garius cast a glance towards Alf, positioned to his right, before redirecting his attention to Javier.

"Patience is not the mere absence of action, but the precise timing for it. To strike too early means missing your mark, while striking too late allows the opportunity to vanish. You possess the necessary tools, the intellect, and the determination. Now, you must learn to await the opportune moment."

He joined his hands and leaned forward.

"Remember this, Javier. The most formidable warriors are not those who act on impulse, but those who channel their fury into calculated strategy. Allow your anger to fortify your resolve, not to obscure your judgment. We shall bring them to justice, but we will do so with precision, not with recklessness."

"Yes, Esteemed Father," Javier responded, exhaling as he bowed deeply, his posture conveying utmost respect.

"I understand your desire to swiftly deal with these scoundrels, but place your trust in me, Javier," Garius stated, his voice calm yet resolute. "If we eliminate them prematurely, we risk revealing our intentions. This would jeopardize our entire strategy. It would alert the enemy that they are under surveillance, that they are being targeted. They would become cautious and alter their tactics, making it significantly more difficult for us to strike decisively later on."

"I understand, Father. I will exercise restraint and remain focused on the mission."

"Mm... Good." Garius then looked towards Liana, who stood silently near the doorway, and inquired in a lowered tone, "I presume she wishes to accompany you?"

"Ah..." Javier shifted his gaze away from Garius, offering a sheepish smile. "About that... errr..."

Garius shook his head and reclined, his right eye emitting a faint glow before he clasped his hands once more. "I shall confer with your mother and Mylezra to ascertain if we can devise a suitable role for her that ensures the smooth execution of your plan. We cannot afford any missteps."

"Thank you, Esteemed Father."

"Mm... Now, go and inform your other future wives of this matter."

"Yes, Esteemed Father." Javier bowed, took three steps back, and then turned towards the door.

Just as he was about to exit, Garius called out.

"Javier?"

Javier paused and looked back. "Yes, Esteemed Father?"

Garius leaned forward, placing his elbows on the table and clasping his hands together, his lips pressed against his knuckles.

"I am quite interested in your two new motion-controlled knights, particularly the Golden and the Silver ones."

Javier flashed a grin, scratching the back of his head. "Ehehe... thank you."

Garius's gaze intensified. "I require you to hand them over to me. Both knights, along with their controllers and all associated equipment."

"Oh... certainly, Father." Javier snapped his fingers, and both knights materialized beside him, accompanied by their controllers. "Umm... but for what purpose?"

Garius smirked before leaning back in his chair, his expression unreadable. "You do not need to know at this juncture. Furthermore, you are aware that I never request anything without a valid reason."

Javier nodded. "If you say so, Father."

"And I also require unrestricted access to the Sky Eyes weaponry system."

Javier tilted his head, a spark of curiosity igniting in his eyes.

I wonder what Father intends to do with that?

He already had access to it when we were at Mathrias Estate, but I never discovered its specific use.

Well... whatever the case may be. Knowing Father, I am certain he has a plan.

And it is not my place to question it. I trust that Father would not misuse such a resource, especially when it pertains to protecting Armand.

"Yes, Father." Javier snapped his fingers again, and a portable mana computer appeared on Garius's table.

"Mm. You may depart now. And when I summon you back later," Garius said, his tone measured, "after I have finalized this plan with Francesca and Mylezra, you will return here with Liana."

"Understood, Esteemed Father." Javier bowed once more before turning and walking towards the exit, Liana following him with graceful steps.

As the door clicked shut behind them, a profound silence descended upon the room.

Garius leaned back in his chair, his right eye faintly glowing as he clasped his hands. His expression underwent a transformation, becoming noticeably colder and more serious.

"Alf?"

"Yes, Your Majesty." Alf stepped forward, placing his palm over his left chest in a gesture of deference and bowing.

"Instruct every soldier, guard, and all units of Armand to maintain a state of heightened alert," Garius commanded, his voice dropping to a sharp, authoritative tone. "Ensure that the mana signature detection systems are fully operational. I want every watchtower guard equipped with those specialized glasses my youngest son developed for identifying distinct mana signatures. Any unfamiliar or foreign mana signature, irrespective of its appearance or behavior, must be reported immediately."

His right eye intensified its glow, a chilling fury simmering beneath his composed facade.

"Any individual who spots them is granted authorization to engage without hesitation; shoot to kill. I will not permit a single one of those scum or their associates to approach our borders, let alone set foot within Armand. Inform the sniper units that they have my complete authorization."

He paused, his voice descending into a lethal whisper. "To decimate. And to commit to absolute destruction."

Alf let out a soft chuckle, a knowing grin gracing his features. "I am certain Prince Javier has already initiated the defensive infrastructures, Your Majesty. The mana cannons, the anti-air mana artillery, and the radar system are all in peak operational condition. Should those scoundrels venture within the radar's detection range, his combat drones, mana-guided projectiles, and all other armaments will automatically transition to full offensive and defensive protocols. They will be annihilated long before they even approach the border."

"Mm... I am aware," Garius responded, his countenance pensive. "Considering my youngest son's nature, he harbors a profound aversion to individuals of that ilk. Their barbarity, their haughtiness, their blatant disregard for life... he will not permit them to escape retribution."

"Rest assured, Your Majesty." Alf's smirk adopted a frigid edge, his voice reducing to a deadly murmur. "Should they dare to trespass here, and should you grant your consent, I shall personally ensure their demise. My detestation for such people runs so deep that I would not even countenance them setting foot upon Armand or Arjam territories."

"Mm... I understand, Alf." Garius reclined, his expression one of deep contemplation. "I have no doubt that upon receiving this intelligence, Hesbeirn will be invigorated by the prospect of hunting down and eliminating those villains himself."

Garius released a breath and directed his gaze toward Erinette, who stood with elegant poise in her maid attire, adjusting her spectacles. "Erinette?"

"Yes, Your Majesty?"

"Kindly instruct your younger brother to refrain from pursuing them independently. His duty is to secure Armand and Arjam; he must not abandon his post." Garius paused momentarily, a subtle smile playing on his lips. "Knowing Hesbeirn's disposition, he would be overly eager to embark on this hunt himself. However, his presence here is imperative."

Erinette offered a slight smile, her voice imbued with a calm certainty. "Understood, Your Majesty. I shall ensure my brother complies."
