Gracelle recovers and learns she will be transferred to the Armand Healing Facility. Liana arrives, providing Gracelle with a dress and asserting that her body is suitable to be the Young Master's bride, urging her to recover quickly. Gracelle worries about her suitability, but Liana reassures her while ambiguously mentioning the Young Master's preferences.

Some time passed.

Liana propelled Gracelle forward in a wheelchair, guiding her out of the Intensive Care Unit and toward Zone One. Gracelle’s eyes shone with both wonder and anticipation as she occupied the seat, captivated by the sensation of movement beneath her. She cast backward glances at Liana, then focused again on the rotating wheels, marveling at their effortless glide.

Myra, Kalea, Juria, and the other attending healers followed at a discreet distance.

A soft smile touched Liana’s lips as she observed Gracelle’s continued fascination with the moving wheels.

"Miss Liana... what is this?" Gracelle’s gaze brightened as she looked back at Liana, her attention immediately returning to the wheels.

Liana responded with a gentle smile. "This is called a wheelchair. It assists individuals who are still too frail to walk, enabling them to move about with greater ease."

"Oh~" Gracelle nodded, her eyes remaining fixed on the wheels, watching them turn and carry her forward with every gentle push.

Liana let out a quiet breath.

She’s this thrilled simply by the sight of a wheelchair?

A sigh escaped her. I can only imagine her reaction upon tasting chocolate, or witnessing the array of the Young Master’s ingenious creations and the profound advancements made by Armand. It’s not merely the magnificent, broad cobblestone roads that now span throughout Armand and are being reconstructed in Arjam, but also the Pekko carriages, the mana helicopters, or even the Holo TVs and Holo cameras.

If she were to encounter a mana phone... I wonder just how astonished she would be.

Liana lowered her gaze to Gracelle.

"Gracelle... try not to become overly excited by simple things. You must remain mindful of the IV and avoid exerting yourself."

"Mm... okay~ But this thing is super cool~"

"Indeed, indeed~ Now, you are on the verge of meeting the person you have eagerly anticipated seeing for such a long time."

The instant they emerged from the building, Gracelle instinctively raised a hand to shield her eyes, squinting slightly as her vision adjusted to the brilliant sunlight, something she hadn't directly experienced in years.

Across the courtyard, not far away, she discerned two figures bathed in the morning light.

One figure was already weeping softly, her hands pressed tightly over her mouth, while the other stood with an expression of relief and weariness that gradually melted into a tender smile.

"Mother!!" Gracelle’s voice, though still somewhat faint, resonated with unadulterated joy and excitement. "Father!!"

Sylvia, already overcome with tears of happiness, hurried towards her. She carefully knelt before the wheelchair, drawing Gracelle into a gentle, tender embrace.

"Gracelle... thank goodness..." Sylvia whispered amidst soft sobs, her voice trembling with profound relief. "I am so glad... so relieved that you are safe and recovering..."

Gracelle smiled, returning her mother’s hug to the best of her ability. "Mm... Thank you for persevering with me. I am deeply sorry for causing you both such worry... It feels like a miracle that the individuals from Armand arrived and healed me."

Sylvia drew back gently, her hands cradling Gracelle’s face as she gazed into her eyes. "I am glad... I am truly glad, Gracelle. I never relinquished hope, but to see you thus... healthy and smiling once more... it surpasses all my dreams."

Liana observed the deeply emotional reunion between Sylvia and Gracelle with a calm demeanor, a faint, contented smile gracing her lips.

She turned as she noticed Myra and the other healers simultaneously pivot, placing their palms over their left chests and executing a deep, respectful bow.

"Your Highness," they intoned in a unified, respectful chorus.

Liana glanced in the direction indicated and saw Javier approaching with a perfect, regal stride, looking remarkably handsome in his official Armand attire. He was accompanied by Gloria, who walked to his right in her maid dress, and Princess Felicia to his left, both exuding elegance and poise. Following Felicia was Mimi, clad in her princess attire, and behind Gloria stood Delya, graceful in her own formal dress.

Liana directed a glance toward Sylvia, who responded with a warm smile and a swift kiss to Gracelle’s cheek before pulling away. She then stood, offering a proper noble bow in conjunction with Lord Rolland. Liana then gently rotated Gracelle’s wheelchair to face the approaching group.

Javier halted at a respectful distance, his face breaking into a warm smile.

Gracelle was momentarily stunned, her eyes widening as she took in the sight of the exceptionally handsome young man before her.

Liana smirked before bending down and whispering to Gracelle, "He is quite good-looking, isn't he?"

Gracelle, still rendered speechless, could only gaze in admiration, her mouth slightly ajar.

Liana signaled Myra to take charge of the wheelchair and moved with refined grace towards Javier, stopping directly before him to offer a flawlessly elegant bow.

"Your Highness. Allow me."

Javier tilted his head, a flicker of curiosity in his eyes.

Hmm? Why is Liana suddenly addressing me with such formality? She has never used the title "Your Highness" with me before.

Liana turned to face Gracelle, making a graceful gesture indicating Javier.

"Gracelle, this is the physician who saw fit to preserve your existence. He also happens to be the Prince of Armand, the very architect of all the marvels you've witnessed. To boot, he is my betrothed. You may refer to him as 'Your Highness.' He is, by succession, the rightful heir to the throne of Armand."

Javier's smile faltered for a moment.

I find myself wondering about Liana's peculiar behavior today.

Could it be she struck her head on something en route to the intensive care unit? Perhaps she ingested something unusual? Or is this lingering anger directed at me?

Yet... I am quite certain I committed no transgression...

Gracelle attempted to rise but was gently restrained as the strikingly handsome man elegantly raised a palm, a gesture of calm authority, signaling her to remain seated.

Comprehending his unspoken request, she offered a nod and, from her seated posture, executed a proper, refined noblewoman's curtsy, her hands clasped neatly before her.

"It is a profound honor to make your acquaintance, Your Highness," she uttered softly, her voice resonating with genuine sentiment. "My life is a debt I owe you, and I humbly convey my most sincere gratitude for my salvation. I shall remain eternally beholden to your benevolence."

Javier was on the verge of habitually scratching the back of his head when Gloria, with a subtle smirk, took his hand, a silent reminder for him to uphold his regal demeanor. He straightened his stance with a quiet exhalation and responded to her greeting in a warm, princely cadence.

"The privilege is mine to have contributed to your recovery. There is absolutely no necessity for such formalities, Miss Gracelle."

"Thank you kindly, Your Highness." Gracelle offered a smile and performed another impeccable curtsy. "I feel an overwhelming sense of obligation towards you and shall endeavor to the best of my ability to reciprocate your kindness in any manner possible."

Javier fell into a contemplative silence, his head tilting slightly in a display of puzzlement.

Hmmm... Does she not recall me?

Or is it a consequence of her condition? Has the malady impacted her cognitive faculties?

But I most certainly examined her eyes and assessed her mental state previously. There were no discernible indications of amnesia or any form of cognitive deficit. All faculties appeared sharp and operational.

Then why... does she fail to recognize me?
