Gracelle questioned Liana about Javier De Armand amid fears from Armand's recent wars. Liana revealed herself as Javier's personal maid since his infancy, assuring her that Javier lives healthily and sent them to protect Gracelle. Unaware that Javier was the doctor who saved her, Gracelle expressed relief but shied away from meeting him. Liana, amused by her innocence, relished a new opportunity for teasing.

"Ah!" Gracelle yanked the blanket over her face, then tugged it down a bit to expose just her eyes. "I... I... I didn’t... I’m not into your fiancé... the doctor... b-besides... he’s a Prince and your fiancé... I... I don’t want to ruin anything..."

Liana grinned, casting another crafty look her way.

"You know nobles and royals, don’t you? A high-status man, particularly a Prince, seldom stays loyal to one wife alone. Having several partners is common, especially for such a skilled and alluring figure like that dashing Doctor. So if you felt drawn to him, it wouldn’t cause any issues~"

Gracelle lowered the blanket from her face, showing off a pure, sweet, sincere smile.

"Mm~hm." She nodded her head lightly while peeking at Liana. "No... I still hold the promise I swore to that boy from years back. I’ve clung to it this whole time. I can’t simply abandon it now."

Behind her mask, Liana smiled as a cozy warmth bloomed in her heart.

Ah~ If only she realized the boy she vowed herself to is none other than the handsome doctor who rescued her.

Yet I adore her. She honors her word, even across all these years.

Her affections remain fixed on Young Master alone, unaware he’s right there before her. That’s precisely why I welcome her joining our group. That’s why I’d never turn her away from us.

Should a girl like her desire entry into Young Master’s harem, then... I’d embrace her gladly.

Liana smiled once more, her tone turning gentle. "But what if that boy you vowed to ended up fat? Or immature? Would you honor your promise still?"

Gracelle beamed warmly and shook her head. "Mm-hm. No. I don’t care. His appearance means nothing. The key is he’s alive, and I can reunite with him at last."

Liana grinned slyly anew, inching closer a touch. "And if the boy you vowed to already has multiple wives? Say he has five? Would you truly not care?"

Gracelle squinted her eyes, pressed her lips together, and murmured quietly.

"That... I don’t know..." After a brief pause, she smiled tenderly once more. "But... since he was once a noble... nobles often take more than one wife, yeah? I believe... in that situation... I could come to terms with it. Provided I get to stay by his side."

Liana shook her head, wearing an affectionate grin. "You certain?"

"Why say that?" Gracelle eyed Liana, suspicion flickering in her gaze.

"Who knows~" Liana grinned slyly from behind her mask.

Gracelle puffed her cheeks, directing a gentle scowl her way. "Mou! Whatever you claim has to be accurate. As his former maid, you’d know all his secrets..." She halted, curiosity lighting her features. "Is he... fat?"

Amusement danced in Liana’s eyes.

Now... I crave more of those cute responses from her. Young Master being all muscled, handsome, towering, and captivating... I can’t claim he’s fat.

Hmm... what to tell her? Ah~ I yearn to watch that cute face twist in wonder some more.

Liana looked her way and flashed a cunning smile.

"I can’t say he’s fat... but he’s big~"

Gracelle’s eyes grew wide, interest sparked. "R... really?"

Elegantly, Liana draped one leg over the other and propped her chin on her hand, face serene and poised.

"Yes."

"Umm..." Gracelle hesitated, then gazed up at Liana. "So... how big?"

"Well..." Liana grinned craftily behind her mask. "Big~"

"Oh... is he tall?" Gracelle inquired innocently once more.

A soft chuckle escaped Liana, mischief shining in her eyes. "Oh~ It’s long."

Confusion furrowed Gracelle’s brows. "Umm... how’s a person long? You mean his legs?"

Ah~ If only she grasped I meant something other than his stature...

"Mm~ You could say that."

Gracelle cocked her head once more, pondering. "Is he... you know... muscular?"

"Oh~ It’s hard and strong."

Gracelle’s gaze sharpened, doubt edging into her look. "Why do your words... feel off?"

Liana giggled lightly, relishing the bewilderment across Gracelle’s features.

A deep crimson flushed Gracelle’s cheeks. "I’m not asking about your fiancé!" She hid her face under the blanket, rolling away with a little snort. "Hmmph!"

She eased the blanket down enough to sneak a glance at Liana.

"Mou! I’m asking for real here."

Having ended her gentle laugh, Liana brushed away a mirthful tear from her eye’s edge with a finger and grinned.

"Alright~ So what about Young Master do you wish to learn?"

"Hmph! You’ll just mock me more, I bet." Gracelle snorted and hid her face once again.

Liana released a gentle sigh and grinned. "As I mentioned earlier, he’s alive, occasionally childish, adores inventing stuff, and cherishes his freedom. He’s large, but not overweight... probably." A smirk played on her lips as Gracelle tugged the blanket lower once more to peer at her. "He’s truly savoring his life at the moment."

"So, what became of him and his family following the war?"

Leaning back in her seat, Liana crossed her arms and gazed toward the ceiling. "Not a lot. The typical stuff, you understand."

"However..." Gracelle pressed her lips together. "Armand became a nation post-war, didn’t it? That implies a new king rules it... and your fiancé is a prince..." She hesitated, eyes probing. "So, does that signify Javier and his kin were granted mercy by the new leader?"

A smile curved Liana’s lips, her gaze sparkling with concealed mirth.

Oh~ Bedridden for so long, she remains largely unaware. Yet spilling all the details now would deny me the delight of witnessing that gorgeous, stunned look when truth dawns on her.

I crave that reaction~

Thus... what’s the best way to reply without revealing too much?

"Hmm... Tough to put into words. But isn’t that beside the point for you currently? You just need to know he’s alive and content, correct?"

"Mm... true enough... still, I’m curious about his story..."

Liana offered a tender smile. "Best to hear it straight from him."

"Oh... yeah." Gracelle looked up at Liana. "Which means... more waiting for me..."

With a soft exhale, Liana beamed warmly. "Gracelle?"

"Hmm?"

"I believe... it’s time I set up your meeting with him earlier."

"Ehhh!!!? No way, I can’t let him see me in this state!" Gracelle’s cheeks burned with bashfulness and alarm.

Shaking her head, Liana bestowed a kind smile. "You lack options here, sadly. He won’t have much spare time afterward."

"Eh? What’s that supposed to mean?"

"Even if I tried explaining, you wouldn’t grasp it. Plus, remember I mentioned quitting as his maid after this?"

"Ehhhh!? Seriously!? I figured that was a joke..."

"Not at all. It’s the truth." Liana concealed her smirk beneath her mask. "Meeting him soon makes sense. You’ll soon move to the Armand Healing Facility, and then... chances to see him might vanish for ages."

"But... what if he’s repulsed... seeing me this way?"

Liana’s smile warmed deeply. "He won’t be, I promise. If he is, he’s not the one worth your wait. True affection ignores looks, particularly after your ordeals."

Gracelle drew the blanket up over her mouth, murmuring quietly.

"When?"

Liana smiled.

"Tomorrow morning."
