Reborn As Noble Chapter 1176: The Dust in His Eyes ( 1176 )

Upon reaching the spot where Javier stood alongside Buddy, Mimi hurriedly let go of her large bag and wrapped her arms around him in a tight embrace, looking up with lips pressed together.
"Nyaaaaa! Husband~ they picked on me nya~"
Javier let out a gentle laugh and stroked her head, which made her purr with delight, her tail swishing happily.
"Eheheh~ That feels good, nyaaa~"
"You enjoy it?" Javier grinned and ran his fingers through her hair.
"Nyaaa~ I love it so much~" She peered up at Javier with dreamy, loving gaze. "Husband~"
"Hmm? What is it, Mimi?"
"Why do your eyes look red, nya?" Mimi pouted, tapping a finger on her lips as she examined his features closely.
Liana, Gloria, Felicia, and Delya’s eyes grew wide. Liana nibbled on her bottom lip, ensuring her intense stare remained hidden from Javier.
"Oh, this?" Javier gave a warm smile. "Just a bit of dust irritated my eyes."
Liana moved ahead elegantly, cradling his face in her hands while nudging Mimi away with her hip.
Mimi staggered a little, caught off guard by Liana’s action. "Nyaaa!!! Big Sis!!!"
Liana paid no attention to Mimi’s complaint and gazed into Javier’s eyes. She inched closer and puffed lightly on his eyes, her face full of softness. "There, that should help." She offered a kind smile before shooting a fierce look at Buddy.
"I’ve warned you repeatedly not to beat your wings so recklessly near Young Master. You’re stirring up all this dust."
"Cuquawked!!?" Buddy’s eyes bulged, taken aback by Liana’s claim.
"What’s that?" Liana smoothly withdrew her hands from Javier’s face and rested them on her hips, staring up at Buddy. "You know it’s true, don’t you!? Should I prepare you as Young Master’s meal this evening!? Well?"
"Cuquawked!!" Buddy objected, stamping a talon down and peering at Liana with clear displeasure over the blame.
"Don’t you dare look at me like that, Buddy! It’s always because of you." Liana held her gaze on him firmly.
Buddy twisted his head, casting a sideways look with a smug curve on his beak, then beat his wings vigorously, whipping up a wild gust of dust and air.
"You’d better quit this right now, or I’ll report your mischief to Giddie!" Liana shielded her eyes with one hand as the rest worked to keep their skirts in place amid the wind.
Buddy halted immediately upon hearing Giddie’s name, appearing a touch alarmed yet still irked by Liana’s accusation.
Javier shook his head with a quiet chuckle. "Liana... time to head indoors." He looked toward Buddy. "Buddy... we’ll await Father inside the GAASAD... alright?"
Javier grinned and began strolling leisurely toward the enormous transport drone, hands in his pockets, as Gloria, Felicia, Delya, and Mimi trailed right behind, holding onto him with fondness.
Liana halted, her hands neatly folded before her maid outfit, observing Javier and the group approach the GAASAD.
"Thanks, Buddy," Liana murmured with a gentle smile.
"Cuquawked." Buddy let out a squawk with a faint smirk on his beak, then sauntered off arrogantly before abruptly using his rear to bump Liana away, knocking her to the ground.
"Buddyyyyy!!!" Liana shot him a furious glare from the dirt. "I’ll really turn you into dinner!!"
Buddy cackled excitedly and dashed off, as Liana pursued him, snatching up a large board en route.
Javier let out a soft laugh and shook his head, eyeing Liana sprint after Buddy while Buddy squawked and flailed his wings in alarm.
He saw Liana and Buddy come to a stop, with Liana poised elegantly, hands clasped in front of her maid attire, the board fallen to the earth, as she shifted her attention to the primary gateway.
Javier traced her view and spotted his father approaching with his mother, her arm linked with his. As always, Alf and Erinette accompanied them, joined by various high-level Armand officials and elite guards clad in complete tactical armor, equipped with mana rifles.
His gaze then landed on a striking woman, seeming about Erinette’s age yet equally vibrant.
Hmm?
Ah... the master healer. Has Father summoned her? For what reason?
Perhaps it’s just for potential crises... after all, we’re venturing into unfamiliar lands. Preparation is key, particularly with a healer of her skill.
Father’s judgment is impeccable. His strategies always succeed.
Moreover...
With the Eyes of Truth, he arrives ready for any scenario. He constantly runs mental scenarios, foreseeing events and securing optimal results.
Javier positioned himself correctly as all his companions arranged themselves behind him the instant Garius neared.
"Javier." Garius addressed him in his typical serious and composed manner.
"Yes, esteemed Father." Javier offered a small bow.
"Has all been set?" Garius regarded him with a firm, evaluating stare.
"Yes. I’ve made certain everything is in order."
"Mm... excellent. So we’ll board one of these massive vessels?" Garius eyed the gigantic transport drone, its ramp lowered to display a roomy, illuminated cabin featuring plush seats and storage areas.
"Yes, esteemed Father. This method is much quicker."
"Mm... how long until we arrive?"
"At maximum velocity, it’ll take about fifteen to twenty minutes, no more than twenty. But, if I may, esteemed Father, full speed could bring some bumps and unease for passengers. A steadier trip comes at a slower speed."
Garius stroked his chin as he observed him.
"Hmm... inform me if full speed poses any danger to life or security."
Javier denied with a head shake and a brief bow. "None at all, esteemed Father. Merely some unease, like sailing on choppy waters in a fleet or enduring a lengthy trip, perhaps minor headaches or queasiness for some, but nothing perilous."
Garius pondered, rubbing his chin. "Very well... that seems acceptable. With the escorts and others accustomed to rapid journeys through training and practice, they’ll manage." He looked at Javier. "Proceed at full speed. Punctuality matters."
Javier gave a subtle smile and nodded, noting the faint glow in Garius’s right eye.
Heh... His Eyes of Truth guide him perfectly. He even chose the sturdiest team to withstand the rigors of swift flight.
"As you command, Father."
