All the SS-rankers of the world alliance watched Rio pull off one miracle after another, and they found it difficult to speak for a long while.

Only when Rio was done with his work and invited them all for a massive tea party did they all come back to their senses and finally realized what had happened.

"To think a day would come when we will get to see an end to the thousands of years long war against miasmic decay..."

"Yeah... I find it hard to believe that miasma has been completely eradicated... to think I will be alive to see this miracle happen with my own eyes... is simply unthinkable..."

Just yesterday everyone was busy dealing with the problems that had been left behind by the miasmic corruption caused by the brief invasion of the demon armies and were all lamenting the loss of so many people.

But now, in just one day, they had witnessed the eradication of the entire demon race, the rebirth of the demon continent, and the ascension of a new godly entity!

It was all so hard to believe that some SS rankers even slapped themselves to try to ascertain whether all this was a dream.

The sharp sting on their cheeks only proved that everything was real, and a few of them could not help but laugh out loud with tears gathering in the corners of their eyes.

"Hahahaha! Everyone! Today’s drinks are on me!!! Ahahahaha!!!"

While the others were busy questioning reality, Ashtel was the one who was the most happy, and he was jumping up and down carrying several bottles of wine in his hands!

He handed down wine to everybody with a hard-to-conceal smile on his face, and his entire spirit seemed refreshed!

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I feel like I have become the happiest man in this world!!! I wasn’t this happy even when my own son was born!!"

"You have truly changed the entire destiny of this world single-handedly this time, Rio! I am proud of you!"

Ashtel drank to his heart’s content and laughed like a maniac that had gone insane from too much happiness!

The eradication of the Demon Race, the lifelong enemy of the world association, was a great dream come true, but that wasn’t the only thing that made Ashtel happy!

He was happy from the bottom of his heart because Rio had accomplished something greater than anyone in history!

Rio had already surpassed Ashtel in all aspects! Be it strength, intellect, or ability, Rio was now far ahead in everything!

Ashtel did not have to carry the burden of the entire race on his own anymore! He did not have to worry about the uncertain future; he did not have to be burdened with the title of the strongest anymore!

For so many years he had borne the hopes of millions on his shoulders, and now those heavy shoulders felt as light as a feather.

From now on, Ashtel was finally free of all duties!

He could just directly retire now and hand over all responsibilities to the next generation!

In fact, there was no need for an SS ranker to hold the reins himself anymore, as the greatest enemy, the demon race, was now completely gone!

SS-rankers in the future could just stay out of public sight and do their own thing while the country gets taken care of by relevant talents and people trained for those specific jobs!

Unless infighting between various races happens, causing the various races to deploy SS rankers to the frontlines, there was no need for SS rankers to risk their lives anymore aside from exploring the dungeons!

Hearing Ashtel’s joyful words, the rest of the SS-rankers also started to relax and feel happy too.

Their stiff shoulders loosened, their serious expressions melted into relieved smiles, and soon the whole gathering was filled with cheerful chatter and the clinking of cups.

No matter why or what Rio wanted to do in the future with his overwhelming powers, one thing was indeed true.

Rio had ended the thousands of years of rule of miasma and carved out a better future for all races.

Parents would no longer have to fear sending their children to the frontlines against the demon, and soldiers who had spent their whole lives holding the borders could finally lay down their weapons and return to their families.

From now on, everyone can live a more peaceful life and focus their forces on the dungeon explorations instead of wasting so many resources on strengthening the borders to be demon-proof!

The Era of Miasma had come to an end, and this was indeed a happy occasion!

"Yes! This is a good idea! In the future people can remember and celebrate this day every year like a festival of sorts!"

Many SS-rankers were already brimming with new ideas and couldn’t wait to go back and implement the new rules, so Rio did not keep them back for long and allowed them to leave after the end of the tea party.

They bowed deeply one by one before departing, and each of them carried a lighter heart and a brighter smile than they had worn in many years.

Rio and Ashtel headed back soon after the rest had left too.

The journey home was quiet and peaceful, and for once the sky above them was free of dark clouds and the heavy smell of corruption.

The very next day, a major announcement was made by the entire world alliance and published all across the globe.

The headlines of all news channels, newspapers, and every other form of media were covered with the same words!

Eradication of the Demon Race, The Rise of a New God!

Rio immediately became the most famous entity to ever exist in the entire world, as even the people living in the most remote locations soon heard about his great name and remarkable achievements.

In bustling cities and quiet mountain villages alike, people gathered around screens and crowded around newspaper stands, whispering his name with wonder and disbelief.

Some people even proposed making life biographies and movies based on his extraordinary adventures and life accomplishments.

The name ’Rio Flash’ soon entered every household in the world, and at Rio’s demand, the newborn continent was declared Rio’s personal territory, which no race, nation, or organization would be allowed to disturb without his permission in the future!

Although Rio had become famous, he didn’t care about this worldly fame as money and wealth had lost all meaning to a godly entity like him.

He could just create money out of nothing with just a thought, so the value of it had become non-existent to him.

All he truly wanted was a quiet home, a warm cup of tea, and the smile of the girl who had waited for him through everything.

Even so, Rio’s heart was already far away, hurrying across the sea towards the one place where he truly wished to be.

With the ascension completed and all his troubles solved, Rio could now finally go back home, turn himself into a normal human being, and proudly declare the deepest feelings in his heart in front of Lia!
