Due to Rio’s interference, the soul fragments of the broken soul of Nebo Dahaka, which would have died out due to being broken, would go on to merge into the newborn souls of various races, and he might be born as a newborn baby somewhere in the future.

This time he will not have to suffer from miasmic rot, and he might be able to become a proud father for his children someday just like he wanted to.

Looking at that notification, Rio’s mouth twitched wildly.

"Err... originally everyone was asking whether I was an illegal child of the demon king... now it seems... I have become the Demon King myself... I can’t even deny it anymore, tch!"

It didn’t take Rio long to understand why this happened.

The Demon Race worked on the principle of the ’Survival of the Fittest!’ Whoever could kill the reigning Demon King could easily plunder the title for themselves!

Rio had literally killed the Demon King while standing on the rooftop of the Demon King Palace!

The situation was so absurd that Rio could only let out a helpless chuckle, wondering what the people back home would say once they heard that their friend had somehow become the ruler of the demons.

Moreover, he had more mastery over miasma than any being present in this entire solar system, so, in a sense, Rio was indeed qualified to be a Demon King.

’The list of titles I have is really too big now...’

Shaking his head in dismay, Rio flew up in the sky and looked towards the horizon as if waiting for something.

The distant clouds were already rippling, and the ground far below had begun to tremble faintly, a clear sign that many powerful beings were hurrying towards this place.

Soon, many SS-rankers of various different races and origins came rushing straight towards him and arrived near the Demon King palace.

"Rio Flash? You have ascended to the Demi-god Realm!?"

Some knew Rio from the tournament of supreme talents, and some knew him personally, as he had travelled to their nation on various occasions.

But one thing was sure... each and every one of them could feel the overwhelming pressure coming off of Rio’s body, and thus none of them dared to step forward to question him about what he was doing here in the Demon Continent.

Several of them swallowed nervously, and a few even took half a step back without realizing it, their instincts screaming at them to keep a respectful distance from the being in front of them.

Soon, Ashtel Rex arrived, and the situation calmed down.

"What are you people staring at, huh!? This is a newborn Demi-god of our human empire! Don’t flock around him like that!"

"Rio is good at miasma manipulation; that’s why I sent him to the Demon Continent to try his ascension here!"

Ashtel took all the blame on himself and made up random stories to fool everyone.

He spoke so smoothly and confidently that anyone who did not know the truth would have believed every single word without a second thought.

Although people felt that things were not as simple, no one dared to question otherwise.

Rio’s aura was now so powerful that he seemed much stronger than Ashtel Rex!

Now that Ashtel had arrived on the scene, there were two powerful individuals from the human race in one place and no one wanted to offend them.

The belated SS-rankers of the Demon Race rushed over in a hurry after noticing so many SS rankers of the alliance gathering in one place, causing everyone’s attention to shift toward them.

Their massive wings tore through the cold air, and their bloodshot eyes burned with rage and confusion as they charged towards the gathering at full speed.

"Ah, I almost forgot about them..."

Rio was distracted by the sudden arrival of the other SS rankers for a bit, but then he remembered his promise to the Demon King again and raised his sword towards the sky.

"Let’s settle it once and for all..."

Rio’s overwhelming aura rushed out like a tide, and every organism in the entire solar system, except for Lia, was instantly immobilized by the pressure.

The entire solar system, including the sun, the planets, and even the meteors and asteroids, trembled at the same time as the ’Law of Miasma and Corruption’ in the entire solar system was manipulated by Rio’s world authority.

Using the ’Law of Miasma’ itself, Rio ’Reset’ the nature of all living and non-living organisms in the entire solar system and ’Absorbed’ the miasma in the entire solar system into his own body!

Tides of miasma rushed from all corners of the solar system as Rio absorbed every bit of miasma present in the entire solar system by stripping everything in existence of its miasmic decay!

Dark rivers of black mist poured across the sky from every direction, spiraling around his sword before sinking silently into his body as if it had been waiting for this moment all along.

All beings, creatures, phenomena, lands, and even undead across the entire solar system were stripped off of their miasma by Rio, and their bodies were reset back to becoming normal creatures that could live on mana!

Rio literally eradicated the entire demon race from existence in the solar system by erasing all presence of miasma in their bodies and turning even the demon into normal creatures!

Just like Alverto had done for Aurora back then, Rio flipped the rules, manipulated the destinies, broke the monopoly of miasma, and freed all entities of its predatory nature!

What took King Allen a thousand years to accomplish, Rio did it in just a mere few seconds and at a much deeper level! This clearly showed how different his powers and abilities were compared to the heavens’ chosen ones!

He was much stronger than those who only knew to rely on luck for everything!
