Even with his own powerful consciousness and the boost of sword intent, analyzing a soul as powerful as his own was an extremely difficult task.
The analyzing process was so slow that Rio felt like he was trying to dig an underground tunnel in a mountain using nothing but a spoon!

While flying forward at a moderate speed, Rio started experimenting with various methods to enhance his analyzation power and tried to understand his own soul from various angles.
Although the result was dismal and progress was as slow as a snail’s pace, he was starting to make some progress and had a clear direction, which was already a promising start!
Unlike before when he was aimless, he now had a clear way forward and knew what he had to do.
