Ashtel holds the Demon King at bay, sacrificing a portion of the world alliance to buy time. Meanwhile, Raika confronts Rio and his companions, revealing his interest in Fade's 'luck' and threatening them. Just as the tension peaks, Rio unexpectedly appears, empowered by his sword intent, interrupting Raika's plans.

Typically, artifacts are not imbued with a fully aware spirit; creators intentionally avoid granting them complete consciousness. When an artifact achieves self-awareness, it ceases to be a mere 'tool.'

A 'tool,' by its nature, shouldn't possess independent thought, as this would hinder its efficiency when utilized by others without its consent.

Its sole purpose is to be functional when required.

Raika, the Sword of Cosmic Order, stands as a prime example of a 'tool' that deviated catastrophically from its intended design.

Having attained full consciousness, she became unsuitable for most individuals to wield.

Even King Allen could only collaborate with her as an equal; he lacked the authority to compel her to unleash even a fraction of her power unless she willingly chose to.

Ultimately, a disagreement led to her departure from him, demonstrating the significant challenges an artifact with fully developed self-consciousness can present.

Fortunately, such artifacts are exceedingly rare, so uncommon that finding one throughout an entire lifetime is an improbable feat.

Yet, remarkably, Rio had encountered precisely such an artifact today.

"I must concede, you've managed to deceive me for an extended period. To think I actually believed you were merely an extension of someone more powerful..."

"When in reality, you were something entirely different..."

A rare smile graced Rio’s lips as he directed his sword towards Raika’s face.

"You have deceived me for long enough, but no longer."

"I now comprehend your true nature, Raika. The Crown of Endless Realms. You are the manifestation of the consciousness residing within this crown hovering above my head, are you not?"

A character named 'Raika' was never mentioned in the original novel, and the 'Crown of Endless Realms' possessed no consciousness in the original text either!

This crown was discovered by Fade due to his extraordinary luck, serving as a swift means for teleportation and concealment.

Indeed, this very crown was the reason Fade could continuously evade Ashtel and others without being apprehended.

As its name implies, The Crown of Infinite Realms is an artifact imbued with the manifested powers of the 'Laws' of 'Space,' 'Time,' and 'Dreams.' Its primary function is the creation of new 'realms' for its wielder.

Furthermore, it can harness the power of the 'law' of 'space' to teleport its user to any location in the universe, provided the user possesses the coordinates and the destination is not within the sea of miasmic corruption.

By utilizing this crown, Fade could traverse anywhere in the world at will, effortlessly evading pursuit from Ashtel or any other adversary.

The crown rendered him nearly invincible; once he retreated into a self-created realm, locating him became impossible as the randomly generated coordinates were unknown to anyone.

The 'Crown of Endless Realms' is such a potent artifact that it requires no consumption of the user's Qi to operate; it can directly draw power from the fundamental 'laws' of the universe!

The teleportation capability of the 'Crown' is so formidable that even if its user is ensnared within space secured by numerous space-time anchors, the crown can still execute a teleportation!

The primary reason Rio sought this formidable artifact was also due to its perfect synergy with his image as an assassin capable of vanishing like a phantom.

Rio journeyed to the Beast Archipelago primarily to seize this opportunity from Fade, but even he had not anticipated that the 'Crown of Infinite Realms' would actually develop its own consciousness!

"The moment you spoke of the Nebo Civilization and revealed they were the creators of the crown, I sensed something was amiss..."

"But now that I understand the complete truth, discerning your objectives becomes far simpler."

Raika, also known as the Crown of Infinite Realms, the 'Realm Weaver,' harbored a singular ambition: vengeance for its creators.

To it, the Nebo Civilization represented a maternal figure, and to its profound sorrow, the Nebo Civilization was annihilated primarily due to the emergence of mana and miasma in this universe.

Consequently, Realm Weaver aspired to dismantle the natural world order that had precipitated its 'mother's' premature and tragic demise.

Fade Crest, identified as heaven's chosen, possessed incredible luck capable of causing significant cosmic upheaval. However, unlike Alverto, Realm Weaver lacked the ability to summon the spire of ascension, as it could not locate the 'Fragments.'

Or perhaps, it was entirely unaware of the existence of the 'Fragments' from the outset.

Therefore, in its view, it required a potent conduit to leverage Fade Crest's luck and reshape the natural world order according to its desires.

And that conduit was 'Rio,' the 'Anomaly' capable of transforming into any shape or form.

Raika, the 'Realm Weaver,' sought to mold Rio into the 'Tool' that would facilitate its revenge against the universe responsible for its 'mother planet's' destruction.

"No wonder it was much simpler for me to contend with you; facing an actual SS-ranker would have been a significantly tougher challenge..."

"You weren't a true SS-ranker at all! Instead, you merely pretended to be one, utilizing the crown's 'Realm Weaver' ability to impersonate a 'World Authority'! What a cunning deception!"

Rio would never have uncovered these intricate plots had he not, by chance, perceived the threads of destiny entwined with Raika when he channeled Lia’s power upon him.

Much like the threads of destiny that bestow premonitions and insights upon Lia, upon activating that same capability, Rio managed to glean a wealth of knowledge from the very fabric of fate!

"The peculiar aspect... is that your sense of self seems to have materialized quite recently. Yet, you possess thought processes so refined and mature that it beggars belief, making it incredibly difficult to accept you haven't been devising schemes for eons..."
