Rio is engaged in an intense battle in the sky, so powerful that it shattered a moon. He sends a message to Lia and the others, warning them to stay back, suggesting his opponent is exceptionally dangerous. Lia and Link decide to trust Rio's judgment and proceed to investigate the mysterious statues and altar in the central plaza, protected by Riya's purification magic.

The aged half-orc chieftain guided the ensemble towards the central plaza's altar.

"Here it is. This is the entity that has tormented our people for generations... Poor Yasna... I pray she suffers no more... "

Affirmatory, Lia directed her unique perception at the altar and its five accompanying statues, analyzing the interwoven threads of fate connected to the sacred structure.

It quickly became apparent that the situation was far more intricate than initially presumed.

"Threads of destiny, imbued with an overwhelming fortune and seemingly blessed by celestial luck itself, are radiating from this altar... "

"The fate-lines of these five statues are interlinked, drawing power from the destiny of this entire planet, consolidating it all and channeling it into the altar... "

"This Altar... it is siphoning the planet's entire fortune and fate; furthermore, these destiny-threads bearing the aura of heavenly luck... they possess a peculiar familiarity... "

"Amassing such immense luck and fate, condensing it into a single point... whatever the master of this altar intends, it undoubtedly signifies a monumental undertaking... "

Lia remained unaware of Alverto's true intentions, as Rio had neglected to inform her that Alverto had exploited Fade's luck in an attempt to subvert the natural cosmic order.

Consequently, Lia failed to discern the altar's striking resemblance to the spire of ascension, although she instinctively sensed a profound disquietude emanating from it.

"A gauntlet, a sword, a bow, a wand... each seemingly represents one of the four awakener classes... but what could the crown possibly signify?"

"The universal emblem for the healer class should be a 'potion,' not a crown..."

Link's soft spoken words caused Riya to knit her brows; she too found the misrepresentation of the healer class statue peculiar.

"I have never encountered a healer adorned with a crown, not even Astra, the very first healer, possessed such an artifact..."

"Could this statue be a representation of an unknown, exceedingly rare class?"

Upon Riya's statement, Lia and Link mutually agreed that this possibility held merit.

The totality of rare classes existing in the world remained an enigma, their sheer scarcity precluding any comprehensive documentation.

As the trio intently studied the statues and the enigmatic altar, an uncanny and chilling voice broke the silence, drawing their attention towards the elder chieftain and the large half-orc.

Both the elder chieftain and the large half-orc had succumbed to unconsciousness at some point, their eyes rolled back unnaturally; moreover, a peculiar, sinister grin, radiating an aura of malevolence and corruption, contorted their features.

As if responding to an unseen signal, dozens of other half-orcs emerged from all directions, converging around the altar, moving with the uncoordinated gait of marionettes.

All of them were insensible, identical unsettling grins plastered across their faces.

Their bodies spasmed rhythmically, and emanating from them was an intensely grating sound, akin to fingernails scraping against a chalkboard.

Without a moment's hesitation, Lia deployed her spirit magic upon herself and her companions, instantly erecting a barrier against the potent psychic assault unleashed through the irritating cacophony.

"Such formidable mental attacks..."

Link gently massaged his temples to steady his racing heart, his grip tightening on Riya's hand.

Unlike Lia and Riya, Link found himself particularly vulnerable to psychic assaults, necessitating heightened caution.

"Its potency is amplified by a powerful entity channeling their own essence... all these half-orcs have seemingly been transformed into puppets of this being, controlled through the threads of destiny..."

Yasna was not the sole individual whose destiny-threads were being absorbed by the peculiar altar; the other half-orcs were also being affected, albeit to a lesser degree.

However, lacking Yasna's inherent talent and unique disposition, the powerful entity was likely not assimilating their meager fortunes, opting instead to preserve them for menial tasks.

'Whoever orchestrates this scheme... is exceptionally powerful and cunning...'

Just as Lia and her group contemplated their subsequent actions, a portal materialized before them.

The portal exhibited no aggressive intent, neither attempting to forcibly abduct them nor posing any immediate threat; it remained tranquil and immobile.

"The adversary extends an invitation into their domain... How audacious and fearless! Their absolute confidence in their own strength is quite evident..."

Hearing Kai's observation, Lia's brow furrowed as she replied.

"I can't speak to confidence, but the threads of fate are weaving a story that suggests our path to unraveling this place's mystery and dealing with the impending trouble lies within this portal, confronting the entity on the other side directly..."

"We must step through this gateway and face the being that awaits us."

This was an undisguised provocation; the unseen opponent was clearly taunting them, daring them to wager their very lives in pursuit of the truth.

"Hah! So, this individual finally decided to show themselves instead of continuing this game of cat and mouse! Let us go!"

"I am eager to discover who possesses the audacity to openly defy Team Astra!"

Riya echoed the sentiment with a nod. Indeed, there was no sense in lingering here, squandering precious time. Should they wish to uncover the full extent of this situation, a certain degree of peril would inevitably need to be embraced.

With their expressions fixed in resolute determination, the group ventured into the portal without hesitation.

Lia cast a glance upwards at the sky. Noticing Rio was still occupied, she made the decision to enter the portal as well.
