Although Raika’s intentions were noble and all he wanted was to save the world, Rio’s intuition couldn’t accept his demands, as if something was not right, and he sensed that Raika was still hiding a lot from him.

With Raika not telling Rio the whole truth, there was no point in talking to him anymore.

Negotiations were pointless at this stage, and there was no room for a compromise.

Just like Raika refused to accept Rio’s wish to not become a pawn for heavenly luck, Rio refused to accept Raika’s proposal of becoming a ’Hero’ and sacrifice his own life for others.

With both parties refusing to take a single step back, a conflict was now inevitable.

Boosting himself with the blessing of his realm’s laws, Raika’s base stats got enhanced tremendously, and the overall efficiency and power of all of his skills became stronger!

Without giving Rio time to react, Raika reappeared right beside him and punched him in the torso!

Rio didn’t even bother defending the attack with his own sword attacks as he immediately enhanced the power of the sword intent, covering his body to the maximum!

The moment Raika’s fist hit him, his hand got split apart neatly into several hundred pieces with extreme precision!

"Like I told you, I don’t make the same mistakes twice. Last time you beat me pretty badly in the spirit realm; I have taken proper precautions against that!"

Rio focused his mind and power on his sword and, using Ashtel’s techniques, created a small-scale spatial repulsion field around him that would repel everything that might try to close the distance towards him.

The power of the repulsion field that suddenly appeared was strong enough to send Raika flying toward a meteorite far away in the vacuum of space!

But of course, Raika didn’t let Rio’s attack succeed; he disappeared midway and appeared near Rio again.

Raika waved his hand, and dozens of S-rankers, who all looked exactly the same, suddenly materialized in the area.

They surrounded Rio from all sides and then cast a combined magic spell.

As if the entire space-time fabric had solidified, spatial fluctuations were suppressed, and so Rio’s repulsion field also became weaker because of that space-time locking array magic.

Rio’s sword shone with a purplish aura, and all of a sudden, all the S-rankers that were surrounding him started to vomit blood as their eyes blew apart as if someone had detonated a bomb in the S-rankers’ eyes!

But in actuality, Rio had used a powerful mental attack with miasmic corruption that ruptured the S-rankers’ brains and caused internal soul damage to all those S-rankers near him.

Seeing this scene, Raika wasn’t surprised, and he immediately waved his hand to heal them all at once!

When Raika was busy trying to heal them all and bring new people to try to attack Rio, Rio wasn’t sitting silent, and he immediately brought out a bracelet from his space ring and wore it.

"Fighting this fellow is pointless; he’s just a projection and with his unique world authority that can keep summoning things up inside his realm, I would be at a disadvantage no matter how many times I try to kill him..."

"If I need to do some permanent damage to him, I would need to take a small gamble..."

Before Raika could understand what Rio was doing, Rio raised his sword upwards as he concentrated a lot of mana around his sword’s tip.

Once fully prepared, Rio activated the bracelet on his hand, causing it to glow with a golden aura!

The golden bracelet around Rio’s wrist shone brightly as Rio’s sword intent amplified its power to the extreme.

The strings of destiny anchoring the artificial realm created through Raika’s world authority suddenly became visible to Rio, and without hesitation, Rio cut them all using his sword intent!

Raika’s artificial realm, which had never been defeated by anyone in thousands of years, shattered like a fragile mirror for the second time in a single hour today!

Raika’s eyes went bloodshot, and his ears started bleeding crazily.

The S-rankers he had manifested exploded on the spot as the entire artificial realm crashed, causing Rio to be ejected back to the moon of planet Cyria-229 once again!

"Th-this power!? Fate and Destiny Manipulation!? B-but you shouldn’t be able to do that! How is-"

Hearing Raika’s bewildered words, Rio shrugged his shoulders and replied calmly,

"You don’t really think that I am stuck in a one-sided relationship, right? I gave my girlfriend a protective charm made out of my sword intent; it is only natural that she gave me a lucky charm she made for me in return..."

Just like Rio had lent Lia his sword intent to protect her in times of difficulty, Lia had lent Rio a small fraction of her destiny manipulation power and had sealed it inside the bracelet Rio was now wearing.

Although Rio himself couldn’t use destiny manipulation as of yet, he had a girlfriend that could use it, so he didn’t mind borrowing her powers for himself.

It wasn't just the ability to wield destiny manipulation via Lia's abilities; he could also delve into its study, aiming to master it for himself in the future.

"Her power hasn't reached the point where she can contend with SS-rankers yet, but I can amplify her strength with my sword intent. This allows us to target weaker SS-rankers, like yourself..."

Rio's lips curved into a grin as he openly bragged about his adorable girlfriend directly in front of their foe.
