Sara, haunted by the murder of her parents, visits their graves with her boyfriend. She finds comfort in their relationship and vows to move forward, inspired by the hero Darkstar who avenged her family. Rio, observing from afar, is pleased to see Sara finding happiness and forging her own path, preventing her from succumbing to hatred.

Individuals emerged one by one from a recently opened portal.

At the very front of this group strode Ashtel Rex, recognized as the planet's most formidable man. Following closely behind him were Rio and Link, moving along without much conscious thought.

Directly trailing these three were Lia and Riya, deeply engrossed in an animated conversation.

"Lately, the internet's been flooded with Link look-alikes cosplaying him... Honestly, he's just too popular, and annoyingly, most of those cosplayers favor shirtless renditions!"

"That's absurd! Link would never do that! He prefers an elegant style! They don't even understand how to cosplay properly..."

Upon hearing Riya's indignant words, Lia brought her arms across her chest, nodding in complete agreement.

"I know, right? Remember when Rio first achieved S-rank status and got showered with accolades for helping save the world? Everyone was utterly captivated by him then too..."

"Good thing those cosplayers and merchandise manufacturers can't truly capture his essence. Otherwise, I'd have to go to war with them, seize every bit of their product, and forbid anyone else from purchasing it!"

Riya popped a candy into her mouth, her gaze nodding in affirmation to Lia's statement.

"Exactly! Those cosplayers are pale imitations compared to the genuine Link! Hmph! Such cheap knock-offs!"

While the two young women were absorbed in their fervent debate about monopolizing their shared boyfriend and devising strategies to thwart companies profiting from his fame,

Rio and Link remained utterly unfazed, seemingly giving the matter no consideration whatsoever.

"It never ceases to amaze me how many hidden bases your family maintains across the country... You possess enough secret weaponry and advanced equipment to field an entire army of your own..."

"The Rex Family is outrageously wealthy..."

Reacting to Rio's observation, Link offered a casual shrug before replying,

"Most of that is down to my father's relentless efforts; he's been the nation's strongest pillar for decades and oversees hundreds of private companies spanning diverse industries..."

"Beyond his personal strength, he's also an exceptional businessman. Prior to his influence, the Rex family was perilously close to financial ruin at one point."

"He's the architect of this colossal business empire, built entirely from the ground up..."

These revelations did little to surprise Rio, who was already well aware that Ashtel Rex was a being of extraordinary, almost inhuman, capabilities, his talents too numerous to list.

'Sometimes I ponder if he'd be a more fitting protagonist than the actual MC, Fade, or even the world-designated hero, Link...'

'His background story alone is as complex and enthralling as any true MC's, making me wonder if he was perhaps once slated to be among those chosen by the 'world' for favor...'

Rio dismissed these thoughts with a shake of his head before speaking.

"Having a father as monumentally great and awe-inspiring as him must present a tremendous burden... If I were in that position, I'd feel crushed by the weight of expectations and unworthy of being his son..."

"Fortunately, your resilience is as thick as city walls, allowing you to withstand such immense pressure."

Hearing Rio's sympathetic words, Link responded with a roll of his eyes, clasping his hands behind his neck as he adopted a slightly backward-leaning stance.

"You might not credit it, but I grapple with self-doubt quite often as well; I constantly question if I'll ever measure up to his greatness."

"I wonder if I'll eventually achieve something significant enough to shed the tag of 'Ashtel Rex's son' and be known solely as 'Link Rex.'"

"For the children of prominent parents, carving out one's own identity is crucial, lest we remain forever shrouded in their shadow."

With a sigh, Link glanced towards Ashtel's broad back as he led the way forward.

"It's not purely about the name and recognition, though... He embodies the role of the nation's 'Guardian' and 'Protector'; his very presence signifies that. I'm uncertain if I possess that same capacity..."

"I'll have to navigate that path gradually as time unfolds..."

At these reflections, Rio rolled his eyes, inhaled deeply, and then stated,

"To be perfectly honest, having parents who are excessively famous sounds like an absolute pain in the rear to me."

Link erupted into laughter at Rio's candid remark.

"Bahahah!! Precisely! You've hit the nail on the head! Hahaha!!! Man, despite your generally stoic demeanor, you've got a knack for cracking jokes! Hahah!!"

Ashtel, still at the forefront, led the group with a disappointed shake of his head.

"Youth today... *sigh*..."

"I can clearly hear both of you badmouthing me behind my back, you realize! Could you at least wait until I've moved on before you start slandering me?"

Ashtel flashed a knowing smirk, a sudden thought crossing his mind as he spoke.

"Speaking of which, did you know Link used to wet the bed when he was ten? BAHAHAHAH!!!!"

Link's face flushed a deep red from the mortification brought on by those words.

"That's utter nonsense! Don't believe him, Rio; he's merely retaliating because we discussed him behind his back..."

Link hastily covered Rio's ears, a futile attempt to prevent him from hearing the tale of Link's embarrassing past, but it was to no avail.

As soon as Ashtel began reminiscing about Link and his own history, he became unstoppable, divulging a mountain of secrets before Rio and everyone else present.

By the time the group arrived at the exclusive hangar for short-range transport vessels, Link felt as though he might faint from sheer embarrassment.

Disregarding Link, who was now sulking, and with Riya gently patting him to soothe his ruffled feelings, Rio gazed upon the colossal spaceship hangar. It dawned on him that he had still underestimated the immense fortune of the Rex family!

Within this single, concealed underground complex, hundreds of private spaceships were already docked, and countless individuals and automatons were endlessly engaged in their upkeep.

Even a solitary short-range private vessel housed within this hangar commanded a value equivalent to Rio's entire annual earnings from his diverse merchandise enterprises.

And the most mind-boggling revelation is that the Rex family possesses numerous such hidden installations, encompassing not only spaceship hangars but also subterranean laboratories, manufacturing centers, automated cities, and more.

The prosperity of the Rex family is truly beyond the comprehension of any ordinary individual!
