Fade's POV:-
I go by the name Fade Crest, the true protagonist from the start, and lately, I've been chosen to join the prestigious Freya Academy. Aren't you jealous of my fortune? Allow me to introduce myself properly—I'm the sole heir from a simple household, harboring ambitions to rise as a powerful Awakened. Fortune has favored me right from the beginning; whatever I desire comes to me as long as I put in the effort.
The moment my acceptance to the academy arrived, joy overwhelmed me and my folks. They gathered heaps of presents for me and even escorted me all the way to the station. My younger sister joined too, bidding me farewell with teary eyes.
Following an exhausting trip, I reached my dormitory at last, and what a lavish setup it was. Every amenity imaginable was there, each infused with opulent flair. That initial month flew by in bliss. I lounged around sleeping nonstop, completely overlooking the need to hone my newly awakened magic, yet I'm confident I can swiftly match my peers with just a bit more diligence.
At the welcoming ceremony, wonder struck me speechless, with so many icons of mine gathered there—especially Raji, the one I've idolized since I was a kid, standing mere steps away.
I yelled as loudly as possible to snag her gaze for even a moment, and success was mine, no doubt about it! Her stare lingered on me briefly, without question!
As the crowd of students began exiting the auditorium, I headed off to my classroom as well. Minutes later, I settled into my seat while more classmates trickled in. A serene vibe filled the room, reminiscent of my quiet village back home. Gentle, balmy breezes drifting through the window soothed my nerves. Having stayed up gaming on my phone the entire previous night, drowsiness overtook me, so I figured a quick doze would do until the instructor arrived.
Yet on that fateful day, fate turned against me; Ms. Anna spotted me dozing off, turning me into the class's prime joke. With my ranking being the bottommost, a group of tormentors soon zeroed in on me.
At first, I figured they'd tire of it soon and back off, but the harassment dragged on without end, stirring up endless chaos. Attempting to resist only ramped up their aggression. Regret gnawed at me for skipping training in those early weeks; nowadays, whenever I attempt practice, the thugs pummel me while hurling vile insults.
Depression had already gripped me tightly from this ordeal. I reached out to the faculty for help, but they dismissed my pleas, claiming it was my own weakness at fault. This shattered me further into pieces.
Months dragged on—four in total—and those wretched fools kept me from any study or practice. Letters from home inquired about my well-being, but I couldn't burden them with these woes; they'd fret excessively upon hearing.
Ms. Anna's announcement of the upcoming exams plunged me into utter hopelessness, and I seriously pondered quitting the academy altogether. But suddenly, a brilliant spark of optimism pierced through the gloom.
[Ding! The appropriate host found!]
[would you like to bind with 'The strongest system of Magic']
[Yes/No]
Shock left me stunned and frozen. From all the novels I'd devoured, I recognized what a system meant. It seemed utterly impossible that one had appeared before me for real. Without hesitation, I accepted the offer.

Joy surged through me so intensely that an involuntary chuckle escaped, drawing all eyes back to me once more. The bullies, annoyed by my outburst, launched into another assault on me.
Though I struggled to defend myself, their numbers overwhelmed me. I hoped a fellow student might intervene, especially in the midst of class, but the room full of onlookers turned away. A few even snickered behind their hands at my plight.
Darkness claimed me swiftly, and before I knew it, I awoke sprawled on a cot in the healer's quarters.
Fade balled his hands into fists and ground his teeth together; an overwhelming surge of rage boiled up from his core as memories of those mocking expressions flooded back.
"I will definitely beat you one day; I will beat you until you beg to be forgiven! Just you wait, you bastards!"
Suddenly, the office door swung open, admitting a strikingly gorgeous young woman who took a seat in the chair positioned by my bedside.
"Hello, Classmate Fade, I am Kira, your fellow student. I brought you here—how are you feeling now?" (Kira)
"Ye-Yeah, I-I am feeling well n-now." (Fade)
"Okay then, I'll head out now; I need to study for the exams." (Kira)
"Y-yeah okay, B-Bye" (Fade)
Kira departed the room shortly after, leaving Fade mesmerized by her stunning allure.
'With my new status as heaven's chosen, strength is within my grasp for sure. When that time arrives, she'll be mine. Anyone daring to obstruct me? Hmph! I'll crush them utterly!'
