Lia awakens after successfully completing her ascension quest and becoming the disciple of a legendary figure. Overhearing James share her embarrassing childhood coffee mishap with Rio over tea, she pouts and attempts to mess up their hairstyles with her skill, only for it to backfire comically on herself. She pounces on Rio to fix his hair manually, then calms upon receiving a meaningful moon-designed bracelet from his spirit realm trip. Lia pulls him into a passionate kiss, curing her ten-month 'Lipium deficiency' amid amused onlookers.

"So that little girl named Bela is actually the future goddess of protection and cure Astra?"

"No wonder she seemed extraordinary to me..."

With a gaze of realization, Rio watched Bela play alongside the little golem and the two little fairies who had awakened from their coma just after Lia.

"To think that this dungeon was actually involved with such legendary figures of the past..."

Rio experienced a strange sensation upon learning these events, since the novel had never mentioned any of it.

Neither this dungeon nor Lia inheriting Astra’s knowledge appeared anywhere in the story.

’Is it again due to my own butterfly effect?’

"Well, at least you managed to get some good things out of the entire hurdle..."

Lia smiled and nodded in agreement to Rio’s remark before responding.

"Yeah, after becoming an S-ranker and getting all this experience I can finally say that I have some decent ability to protect myself now..."

"The difference between an A-ranker and an S-ranker is really too big... it’s almost a completely different level of existence..."

"Makes me realize how weird we from Team Astra are... we were all able to deal with S-rankers even before becoming one..."

Even Riya, the one with the least combat prowess, had managed to stand firm against Alverto without being an S-ranker yet.

This proved beyond doubt that every member of Team Astra was far from ordinary, each possessing monstrous talents in their respective fields.

"With my newly enhanced abilities I can predict almost everything... but I can’t be arrogant; after all, there’s literally one person sitting by my side whom I still can’t predict..."

Curiosity shone openly in Lia’s eyes as she glanced at Rio.

Now that her talent had been upgraded, she could glimpse the destiny threads linked to those nearby and foresee their futures with ease.

Yet, surprisingly, even though Rio was in the same realm and she wielded such potent power, predicting him remained impossible!

She could effortlessly glimpse Kai’s future, an SS-ranker, but her skill failed completely on Rio!

’Well, I can only see Kai’s future up to one hour ahead, and that’s solely because of our deep soul connection and his lack of defenses against me...’

’If it was any other SS-ranker, the prediction would be more difficult... but I can improve it as I get stronger... the only anomaly in this is Rio!’

’My skill doesn’t even activate when I try to look into his future! How weird...’

Noticing Lia’s curious stare with her large, shimmering eyes fixed on him, Rio gently pinched her cute cheeks while smiling faintly.

"Don’t try to use this unconventional skill on me; I have made sure to take precautionary measures against them beforehand..."

"I have a skill that can block these kinds of unconventional things..."

Rather than annoyance, Lia felt joy from Rio’s touch on her face and leaned into it happily.

"Is it the one that helped you avoid making a sacrifice back in that Maya dungeon when you picked up that soul orb?"

"You have quite a powerful skill set, don’t you? I feel jealous..."

Rio nodded to Lia’s comments and answered,

"My skills are incredible indeed, but yours are not bad either; you have awakened a skill that only one person in the entire universe had in the past..."

"You have no need to feel jealous of me; my everything belongs to you anyways... what’s mine is yours too you know~"

Lia rolled her eyes in response as she shot back,

"Why do I feel that you have become better at flirting now? Were you practicing your flirting skills on your mission to the spirit realm?"

Rio shrugged nonchalantly at her remark before replying.

"Well, I was travelling in pitch-black darkness for weeks and weeks; there was nothing else to do besides think about various things in my mind and plan out different ways to tease you..."

"But my adventure is really nothing as fascinating as yours... you actually met one of the strongest people in the universe and learned her entire skill set!!"

"I will need to train more in the future or you will become stronger than me! If that happened, I will lose my ability to easily run away after teasing you a lot..."

In protest to his words, Lia swatted away Rio’s fingers from her cheeks and declared,

"Hmph! Just you wait! The day will come when this young lady will make you beg for mercy!"

While the pair indulged in their playful banter, Kai and James returned from scouting the surroundings.

"No wonder this dungeon is still not closing; it seems that Rahn was likely not the final boss of this dungeon at all..."

Kai turned to Lia before continuing,

"I detected a strong surge coming from the south... That must be where the boss monster lurks... Without taking it down, escaping this place won't be straightforward..."

Upon catching Kai's statement, Rio cocked his head a little and remarked,

"Uh... Well... I could actually tear open a rift in the dungeon's space-time and let us all escape..."

"However, that'd leave the dungeon-clearing mission unfinished... So, what's your call, Lia?"

This was Lia's training trial, fresh off achieving S-rank; the ideal chance for her to test her newfound strength, which was why Rio held off on acting and consulted her instead.

He'd only shown up to guarantee Lia's safety; butting into her training held zero appeal for him.

"Naturally, I'm charging straight in to battle it!! Now that I'm an S-ranker, nothing short of an SS-ranker scares me anymore!!"

Catching her adorable thrilled expression, Rio was thrilled he'd rushed back from his assignment so quickly.

The buildup of stress and melancholy from months in the spirit realm melted away with just moments spent alongside Lia.

"Alright, let's head out, rewrite history, and ensure demons can't claim fairyland as their continent this time!"

Rio's declaration brought smiles and joyful leaps from the group, leaving Lia baffled.

"Hold on... How are fairyland and the demon continent connected?"

Baffled by Lia's query, Rio tilted his head and responded with puzzlement,

"Huh? You weren't aware the current demon continent was once the legendary 'fairyland,' home to all the fairies?"

"Kenorland here lies within the 'Forbidden Edge' zone of today's demon continent..."

Rio's explanation struck Lia like an atomic blast ripping through her thoughts!

She'd truly never realized the famed Fairyland was precisely the domain demons now occupy!

"That explains why Astra's tale of fleeing the human empire southward always felt wrong!"

"The world's southernmost continent is clearly just one—the demon continent!"
