Reborn as an Extra Chapter 621: The Airhead Twins, Lyria And Miria. Part-1.

As soon as Kai invoked his 'World Authority' to mimic a partial ruling on the demon, the 'Law' of 'Judgement' swiftly declared the demon culpable.
This wasn't due to any specific offense or wrongdoing; the 'law' of the 'world' didn't even glance at the strands of destiny to determine the demon's guilt.
It unleashed a tremendous bolt of divine retribution upon the demon solely because it was a 'demon.'
The 'laws' of this 'world' regard demons as a 'cancer,' and anything linked to miasma or the 'law' of 'miasma and corruption' is utterly intolerable to them!
Their mere presence is despised, and regardless of a demon's personal virtues, the 'laws' of the 'world' will invariably condemn them simply for being in this realm.
Kai had been aware of this fact earlier, and as his summoner, Lia had understood it for quite some time.
However, she hadn't been able to leverage this ability until this moment.
It was only after the Ascension Spire event that Lia advanced to a half-step S-rank, enabling her to bear this weight.
Invoking the power of a 'law' from the 'world' is no trivial feat; if it were the Lia from months prior, merely bearing it would have torn her apart from within.
Yet, through her battles in the ascension spire alongside Alverto, Lia acquired vast insights and achieved profound control over her abilities, much like the rest of the group.
The alignment of these elements allowed her to accomplish what she did on this day.
Eliminating the demon served not only as a display of might and dominance; it also helped Lia forge a stronger bond with her abilities and deepen her grasp of her own 'Path.'
The intense heavenly judgement ripped through the fabric of space-time and almost disrupted the whole S-rank dungeon, but fortunately, it vanished instantly without causing the dungeon's collapse.
Should that have occurred, Lia would have been expelled from the dungeon, cutting her training mission short.
The rifts in space utterly obliterated the demon from reality, and as they began to seal themselves gradually, Lia abruptly exclaimed,
'Oh wait! I was going to interrogate that demon for information!'
At that point, Lia recalled that her battle wasn't aimed at victory alone but at prying secrets from the demon!
[Forget that demon; we have a far superior method to obtain information. Look behind you...]
[The ones you rescued are approaching...]
Upon hearing Kai's message, Lia felt puzzled; her spiritual sense detected no one behind her, but she trusted him and pivoted around.
To her astonishment, two tiny flying beings, each the size of an adult's palm, were heading her way.
Their forms resembled elves in miniature, both appearing adorable and enchanting; moreover, they sported two sets of wings on their backs!
Upon spotting them, Lia pieced it together instantly and voiced her shock.
'Elemental Fairies!?'
Fairies, those mythical beings that vanished from the outer world after relentless hunts by demons and other malevolent races and monsters, now hovered before Lia.
From her academy studies, Lia knew that in the modern era, fairies resided in a distinct realm known as the 'Fairyland,' safeguarded by the dragon valley.
The sole means to access the 'Fairyland' and encounter fairies nowadays involves traveling to the Dragon Valley first and securing approval from the Dragon King.
Afterward, one must proceed via tightly regulated portals hidden within the Dragon Valley.
Folklore also holds that certain avaricious humans in bygone eras aided in driving the fairy race to extinction beyond their sanctuary.
This tragedy unfolded post the thousand-year war, long after King Allen and Astra had departed, leaving no mighty figures to halt the slaughter.
Fairies weren't aligned with the world alliance, and the realm was still mending from a thousand years of conflict; scarcity of resources fueled much strife.
No faction wished to divide their supplies with outsiders; within the world alliance, every group vied for resources, and including another race would profit no one.
Demons exploited the fractured and frail world alliance following King Allen's exit, inflicting heavy losses and ravaging the fairies' homeland entirely.
Ultimately, the dragons intervened, offering the fairy race refuge in their domains.
From that point onward, whether human, elf, or any other kind, none may interact with the fairy race, and the dragon king rarely permits entry to the 'Fairyland' gateways.
Consequently, the world has had no dealings with fairies for hundreds of years, and Lia had only encountered them through texts and illustrations.
This marked the very first occasion in Lia's life where she beheld actual fairies!
As Lia stood there in a stupor, the pair of endearing tiny beings fluttered closer and gazed at her with their large, shimmering eyes, chirping joyfully.
'Thank you for saving us! Thank you for rescuing Miria and Lyria from that demon!'
Before Lia could respond, the two little ones bowed deeply and declared.
'Lyria and Miria greet you, Ms. Royal Fairy. We are delighted that a mighty noble like you personally came to our aid!'
The words from Lyria and Miria left Lia bewildered; she couldn't fathom why they saw her as one of their own.
[Kiddo... you literally have the same wings as them sprouting from your back... if you were shrunk down... folks would take you for an armored fairy!]
It was only upon Kai's reminder that Lia recalled her own fairy-esque wings!
She hadn't shaped them intentionally that way; those luminous wings excelled at boosting her velocity and agility, so she left them in their natural form.
Never in her wildest imaginings had she anticipated crossing paths with genuine fairies, who would then mistake her for kin upon noticing her wings!
'I never imagined I'd one day pass as a fairy... I'm so much larger than them... how could they overlook that glaring difference...'
'Could it be that the history tomes were spot on about fairies... are they truly such 'Airheads'?... No way that's accurate?'
