The family receives outfits and styling for the full-month celebration of the three little Buns and Jiang Hongfa's formal introduction of Kang Li as his granddaughter. At the grand banquet, Austin gazes at Kang Li with regret, wishing he had met her earlier. Kang Li decides to let their daughter Guoguo recognize Austin as godfather, with Luo Yanqing's approval. Midway through, Austin congratulates them and banters competitively with Luo Yanqing about cherishing Kang Li.

Her stunning eyes flared wide in a sharp glare. Kang Li flipped over, creating distance from the man, determined not to let him continue massaging her waist.

"So you're despising me now, wifey?"

Playfulness in Luo Yanqing’s eyes shifted to hurt grievance. He lowered his gaze like a miserable little wife, seeming utterly pitiful in every way.

"Yep, I despise you tons, what can I do? Professor Luo, you planning to divorce me or something?"

One eyebrow arched, Kang Li eyed the man leisurely.

"Don’t even dream of it!"

Briefly, Luo Yanqing turned into a domineering CEO, yet the next instant he reverted to pitiful mode to avoid persona collapse. With this thought, he stealthily raised his eyes—only to unluckily lock onto Kang Li’s teasing stare. Moments later, he heard his little darling declare, "Persona collapsed."

"Wife, you divorcing me? No way in hell. I’ll stick to you for life, the unshakable kind!"

Suddenly shifting from wronged wife to clingy koala, Luo Yanqing changed personas without any awkwardness.

"Wow! Never knew you were such a Drama King, switching so flawlessly. Impressive!"

Kang Li poked fun at him, even thumbs-upping with a grin.

Luo Yanqing’s cheeks burned, flush spreading to his neck and ears, yet his face showed no unease. Noticing this, Kang Li rolled to face him, clapping like a delighted dolphin, lips curving up. "Great self-restraint!"

"You think that Austin fellow is really that handsome?"

His sudden words caught Kang Li off guard; she paused, then her smile blossomed. "Don’t you find Austin incredibly hot? That golden blond hair gleaming in sunlight, those blue eyes pure like clear skies yet deep as vast oceans, sharp features carved like by a master blade..."

Kang Li continued slowly, spotting his growing grievance. She feigned surprise. "Oh! Professor Luo, you're jealous!"

Not a question, but exclaimed with emphasis.

"Fickle woman isn't attractive." Luo Yanqing hid his hurt, speaking evenly. "You're my legal wife, certificate and all. Without my nod, your man remains only me."

The latter part sounded silly, making Kang Li burst into laughter. "One second bullied wife, next clingy koala, now flaunting your dorky charm. Nice, Professor Luo's a real gem!"

"You just love teasing me, don't you?"

Luo Yanqing scooted closer, lying beside Kang Li and drawing her into his embrace. "Teasing me brings you such joy?"

"Yep. Seeing your expressions shift delights me. What, gonna bite?"

While speaking, Kang Li gave him a challenging glance.

Finally, the professor did kiss her lips, applying some force. Kang Li winced, shooting him a fierce glare. "What are you, a woodpecker?"

A deep chuckle escaped Luo Yanqing’s throat; Kang Li had clearly entertained him.

"Even woodpeckers aren't after bugs on my lips—I'm human!" She glared again and grumbled, "So pesky, always bullying me!"

"You're the bully, always itching to tease me." Luo Yanqing’s lips hooked up. He lifted her chin with a finger, forcing eye contact.

At that, Kang Li huffed. "I’m done talking to you." Words aside, her fingers toyed with his slender, jade-like, perfectly shaped digits.

"Li Bao..."

Luo Yanqing softly called her pet name.

"What?"

Kang Li avoided his gaze, still playing with his fingers.

"No thoughts of that Austin guy allowed. Remember, the true hunk is right here. Others are mere grass. Doubt me? Look closely."

He tilted her chin once more, pressing his handsome face near his little one's.

To his surprise, Kang Li shoved his face away. "Did you swim in vinegar? Thirties and acting out of sort, comparing looks. So typical."

"Am I old to you?"

Luo Yanqing fixed his gaze on his little wife, his magnetic voice tinged with grievance.

"I never said so, but you're older than me." And by eight or nine years at that!

Upon hearing those words, a sour feeling stirred within Luo Yanqing. "But wherever I go, people assume this face looks only twenty-something. They keep insisting I’m still a young guy!"
