Meng Xinian and Chiang Xiao were startled by the unexpected arrival of Director Wei, a rare visitor to their home. After some light-hearted banter, they invited him to sit in the courtyard to avoid disturbing the sleeping Old Meng inside. Suspecting the visit concerned her popular tea house, Chiang Xiao brewed a pot of premium tea, while Meng Xinian teasingly inquired about Director Wei's recent health, eliciting a wry response about constipation. As they settled, Director Wei savored the invigorating aroma of the tea before tasting it.

The scent of this tea had already touched something deep inside him.

Yet Director Wei stayed utterly composed, showing no change in his face no matter what emotions stirred within. It was impossible to read his feelings just by observing his expression.

Meng Xinian understood this well, so he only gave him a quick look, without trying to figure out anything from his features.

Simply inhaling the aroma wasn't enough; the real test came from actually sipping it.

He truly thought that Director Wei had been dealing with real constipation over these last couple of days, and it sounded pretty bad.

If it hadn't been that severe, he wouldn't have casually mentioned being 'constipated' when questioned.

Actually, it made perfect sense—Director Wei's everyday work went far beyond what regular folks handled; he was always locked in mental duels and fights with those rivals, never getting a break—overlooking even a single hint might lose crucial proof.

The constant stress tightening every part of his body felt awful, so ending up that constipated was understandable.

With symptoms so intense and this marking his initial taste of tea prepared by Chiang Xiaoxiao, the effects proved particularly potent.

Chiang Xiaoxiao was incredibly clever, so her ability to brew tea surely surpassed anything Youqingwei could manage.

She must have employed even cleaner spring water from her special space for the brewing.

Thus, right now, once Wei Lengmian had downed two cups of this tea, relief was bound to follow.

He was simply biding his time.

Director Wei sipped the tea; its pure flavor drew him in, prompting him to take yet another mouthful without hesitation.

But before he knew it, the entire cup was empty.

He couldn't stop himself from glancing over at Chiang Xiao and Meng Xinian.

Meng Xinian had polished off his tea as well.

Since the tea had been personally brewed by Chiang Xiaoxiao and was top-notch quality, Meng Xinian had no intention of wasting it. Moreover, he sensed there could be much to discuss with Wei Lengmian.

"Director Wei, how do you find this tea?" Chiang Xiao inquired, cradling her teacup.

"Not bad." Director Wei responded with those brief words of praise.

The tea was genuinely excellent, remarkably so, bursting with fragrance; even after draining the cup, a refreshing moistness lingered in his mouth, and his thoughts seemed more settled.

Being seated there, a unusual tranquility washed over him, making him want to linger and chat about life's deeper matters with them.

This indicated how much the tea and their company eased his tensions.

"Care for another cup?"

Chiang Xiao stepped inside and returned with a fresh pot of tea, pouring refills for him and Meng Xinian.

Director Wei lifted the cup and emptied it once more.

"Xiao Chiang, I've got to ask— you excelled in your studies, your artwork was impressive, so what sparked the notion to start a teahouse and venture into business?"

Judging by Director Wei's look, he appeared sincerely baffled by this.

Chiang Xiao smiled as she topped up his cup with more tea, replying, "Director Wei, if anyone did report something on me, you could easily check it out and find the truth. Back in City M, I encountered a tea estate owner by the name of Huo. Uncle Huo and his son have protected the estate across two generations. Uncle Huo once discovered a Supreme Da Hong Pao hidden in the remote mountains; through a series of lucky breaks, I offered some assistance. Also, I hit it off with Uncle Huo, so he firmly wanted to share one-tenth of the earnings from that Da Hong Pao, turning me into a minor partner in the tea estate."

"Is that really how it happened?"

"Absolutely. That can't be against the rules, can it? Besides, Uncle Huo's wife excels at crafting tea treats; hers are absolutely delectable. I couldn't get them out of my mind after trying them. Back then, I realized my grandparents were idle without any earnings, so I taught them how to prepare those tea snacks."

Chiang Xiao laid it all out plainly, since there was no secret to any of it.
