After a terrifying roller coaster ride, Chen Siyu is left dizzy and unwell. Jiang Ning uses his cultivation technique infused with electric currents to soothe her discomfort, much to the amusement of their classmates. Their reactions to the intense ride vary, with some finding it more terrifying than others.

"Jiang Ning, was the roller coaster a thrilling ride?"

Xin Youling encountered them just outside the Mystic Bird Rainforest.

Chen Siyu, still feeling the effects of dizziness, cautioned, "I just got off it, and my heart nearly leaped out midway!"

Xin Youling blinked, "That frightening?"

Xue Yuantong crossed her arms, feigning indifference. "Not really."

Yang Sheng added, "It was manageable."

Bai Yuxia declared with intention, "I felt absolutely nothing."

Chen Siyu, by comparison, felt rather insignificant.

Xin Youling’s eyes widened slightly. "Thank you, everyone."

Following that, she and a female classmate beside her proceeded into the Mystic Bird Rainforest.

This classmate hailed from their former Class 6, which had since dissolved, leading everyone to pursue different paths.

"Xin Youling, is that Magician Jiang Ning? I heard you two had a child together?" the classmate inquired, a gossipy glint in her eyes.

Xin Youling’s expression darkened. "To be precise, it’s a stray cat."

"Did he go to see the cat?"

"..." Xin Youling stated the truth plainly. "No."

"That’s truly cold-hearted."

"Cold-hearted?" Xin Youling’s heart fluttered. It had indeed been some time since she’d interacted with Jiang Ning one-on-one, yet he hadn't seemed to fabricate any excuses to meet her.

"Alright, Tan Tan, cease your chatter."

No sooner had they entered the rainforest than they ran into Du Chuan, who was holding a high-end camera.

Du Chuan enthusiastically offered, "Hey, care for a photo? It’s on the house!"

"Certainly!" Tan Tan, who possessed considerable beauty, was frequently photographed and thus adept at striking poses.

She tossed her hair and assumed a photogenic stance.

Du Chuan captured several shots.

Tan Tan requested, "May I see them?"

After observing for about a dozen seconds, Tan Tan expressed disbelief. "Why did you make me look so unappealing? Do you even know how to operate a camera?"

Du Chuan defended himself with conviction. "My camera never lies!"

Tan Tan lamented, "And I placed so much trust in you."

Du Chuan retorted, "I’m merely a photographer, not some miracle worker!"

The two launched into a heated argument.

Xin Youling found the scene unbearable. As the former class president of Class 8, her natural affability smoothed things over, and both parties conceded a little.

Xin Youling recalled recent whispers surrounding Du Chuan and inquired, "Du Chuan, what draws you to photographing people?"

Perhaps it was Xin Youling’s radiant and magnanimous demeanor, or the fact that no one had ever posed such a question to him before, but Du Chuan’s emotions seemed to instantly calm.

He softly mused, "I used to detest my father snapping pictures of me with his phone; it felt so unnatural. But later, I understood that only my father took the effort to preserve my memories."

Xin Youling pondered for a moment before responding, "So, you surmised that many of your peers might share similar sentiments, and decided to capture their images?"

Tan Tan also fell silent; genuine sincerity often has a way of touching hearts.

Du Chuan shook his head. "No, it’s because when I take photos, I feel as if I’ve become their father."

Xin Youling internally exclaimed, ’Truly unprecedented.’

Tan Tan’s expression shifted dramatically, and she lunged to strike him. "Are you seeking death, hmm!?"

After administering a few playful blows, Tan Tan returned, breathing heavily. "Xin Youling, he’s so provoking; aren’t you going to land a few hits on him?"

Xin Youling maintained her composure. "It’s fine; I’ve seen quite enough of that."

Tan Tan was visibly exasperated by her calmness.

They followed the rainforest’s natural dividing line, venturing deeper into the park. Word-of-mouth about the roller coaster’s excitement among classmates had swelled the queue; they waited fifteen minutes before reaching the front.

A large figure, Yan Tianpeng, strode from behind and bypassed the barrier, heading directly for the front of the line.

Zhang Chi loudly protested from the rear. "He just cut the line; doesn’t anyone have an issue with this? Stand up and resist!"

High school students typically possess a strong sense of justice, but righteousness often has its limits. Yan Tianpeng was built like a polar bear, capable of delivering a fatal blow with a single punch.

All the surrounding students remained conspicuously silent.

Zhang Chi questioned again. "Seriously, no objections?"

Still, no one responded.

Consequently, Zhang Chi also began to cut the line, brazenly walking towards the front.

The expressions of all the students instantly became remarkably telling.

Tan Tan expressed utter astonishment. "What?"

Xin Youling remained unfazed. "It’s alright."

Nothing seemed to surprise her anymore; perhaps, this was a sign of growth.

Amidst the throng, she spotted her former classmate Pang Jiao; their figures were undeniably eye-catching.

Before long, staff members opened the gates, and everyone proceeded into the ride area.

Xin Youling noticed her classmate Shang Caiwei, known for her quiet nature; she approached her, observing Shang Caiwei’s slender shoulders tremble almost imperceptibly.

Xin Youling chuckled, her eyes sparkling with animation beneath her eyelids. "Are you feeling apprehensive?"

"Huh?" Shang Caiwei’s head tilted up, her eyes wide like a startled deer. "Class president?"

That address nearly melted Xin Youling’s heart, but she had to disappoint Shang Caiwei. "I’m no longer the class president."

"Oh, okay."

"Scared?"

Shang Caiwei replied, "A little."

"Perhaps you should forgo the ride then?"

"But we’ve come this far; if we back down now..."

"To persevere requires courage, but is it not also courageous to admit defeat when you're halfway there?" Xin Youling asked, her eyes blinking softly as if she were trying to comfort a neighbor's daughter.

Shang Caiwei drew in a deep breath, her hands trembling slightly, perhaps from the thrill of an impending battle, much like when engaging in a match on Summoner's Rift.

"A true man must strive!" she declared with conviction.

Xin Youling was taken aback for a moment, wondering, 'Is this really Weiwei, or am I seeing things?'

At the ride queue.

A staff member eyed Pang Jiao critically, his gaze flicking towards the electronic scale. "Excuse me, student," he began politely, "for your safety, the Mystic Bird roller coaster has a weight restriction. Might I ask you to..."

Pang Jiao felt deeply offended and stepped onto the scale to demonstrate her fitness, only for the scale to blare insistent alarms.

A nearby security guard intervened. "Student, you are slightly over the limit."

Pang Jiao's eyes ignited with fury, resembling a bull in the throes of enraged fervor.
